James did a great job trimming and removing leaves in our lawn. He was very courteous.

The owner is very knowledgeable and I can tell when someone knows what they’re talking about.

They brought in a soil mix and revived our Bermuda lawn.

They always get the job done regardless of the setbacks they run into plus the owner is courteous and professional. I the guy who came out blew the leaves AND went over the yard with the vacuum. Very happy.

Quick demo quote took 3 weeks to complete and did not meet their estimate or promised result. They claimed to know how to do this job but were not able to handle the scope of the work.

Seems like I’m not the only one who’s been left high and dry. Paid for weekly mowing for 2 months and they came total 3 times and haven’t seen them in over 4 weeks. Billing system still works as they just sent a bill. Impossible to get phone returned or emails. Would avoid.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! These guys are very difficult to communicate with. All over text...no phone calls. Asked them to mow the yard of a wonderful woman who is undergoing chemotherapy. I gave them a description of the house but not the exact street address. They mowed the wrong yard (a yard that they already had a contract previously to mow). They wanted me to pay for this but I refused. Apex Lawn Company sent out a bunch of teenagers to mow it the second time and did a marginal job. I paid them for this 2nd mowing. For the 3rd mowing I was uncertain about using them again. When they didn’t show up on Monday like there were scheduled, I contacted a different company. The new company was very professional and came on Tuesday. On Thursday, without contacting me, the teenagers showed up again and mowed the yard. I refused to pay them. Now Apex Lawn Company is harassing me and the poor lady and wanting her/me to pay for all 3 trips even though 1 had already been paid. Shameful customer service, terrible business model. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

James is the hardest worker in NC. I had several lawn company try to sell me stuff and it just wasn't up to par but with James he makes sure your lawn is well taken care of and make sure he hires employees based on those standards. This is definitely the lawn company you want to work with

After a year of service I figured I would write an honest review about this company. After my dad injured his back and couldn’t cut our grass from our overbearing HOA, I figured I would find a company to take care of our lawn. Being 4 years in the Army they have l worked around my pay to take care of my parents and have been nothing but professional. I highly recommend this lawn service

James seems nice enough and does a decent job, but I found him unreliable. I’m sure he can do better. Wish he was more communicative about when, and if, he was coming. Probably great with yards but not so much as a businessman. Looking over these reviews there seems to be a pattern with communication issues.
