We did the aeration package and top dressing. Great service with good value and timing! Our lawn has never been so green one week after the service. Our neighbor thought we painted our lawn. See before and after pictures.

I started with Apex Lawn Care this summer, and they were inconsistent at best. The heavy rains coupled with what seemed to be some staffing issues made for inconsistent service. Since Ryan has started mowing my lawn, the service has greatly improved.

I was a previous client of theirs in 2022 that dropped the service due to poor performance and poor communication. Last fall, James reached out to me and let me know they were using a completely different service staff and had brought on help to organize the business better with a dedicated customer relations personnel role. So I gave them another chance. And they did a good job from fall of 2024, until recently. However since the start of summer, when I was able to reach them I was told they are experiencing staff shortages again and it has certainly been reflected in the lack of work; our lawn has since been taken over by weeds again and become burnt out following the last fertilizer application, despite our irrigation system watering regularly. And now the company is back to not following up on texts and calls except maybe a week later indicating they are 'waiting for it to stop raining' (yet no service techs come out in the following week when there wasn't any rain). The staff has been nice on the occasions I have been able to talk again but sadly they have become unreliable once again, despite the second chance

Avoid at all costs. James seems well intentioned, but he makes promises he can't deliver and, as others have said, continuously blames others for his inability to deliver. Poor communicator. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

We had pine straw installed in the backyard and were impressed by their communication and very fast delivery of service with high quality. Highly recommend!

Even from the beginning his team missed cuts. I paid extra for compost and soil to be added to my backyard before aeration and seeding. None of it ever happened. The soil was delivered but sat in the road untouched for a month until I finally had to spread it. I would not do business with this company again.

We are customers of Yard People too. In fact many of my neighbors also use the company. All the reviews are five stars for a reason. A disgruntled employee should not deter a client thinking of using this company. We had an ant problem and Yard People came out and did maintenance work all around our house and pulled builder planted shrubs that were misplaced. Our exterminator was so impressed (we did the project on his direction). YP pulled five shrubs (root up), filled the holes, and cut back 20 fence height bushes from fence and our house for $300. And our ant problem is gone. Also, not sure how $35 for a mow and blow is “robbing” me - it’s an awesome competitive price. YP has also built a deck with a pergola for our neighbor and now we are looking into our backyard for the same. This is definitely a company beyond mow, blow, and go.

My wife and I have been using The Yard People for the past few months. Our lawn is looking much healthier and greener every week. My neighbor has been using them for some time and I have been impressed with the look of his lawn and the competitive price compared to what we were paying one of the bigger companies that just never got it right. Lloyd came out and gave me an estimate and was honest about the process. We are delighted that he uses mostly organic products which are safe for our beloved dog. The technician that has been out to service our property is a very polite hard working gentlemen. We had The Yard People build a retaining wall and redesign our landscape in our yard as well. We could not be more pleased.

I have been using The Yard People for two years and I am so happy I switched to them! My grass has never looked healthier and greener. I am the envy of my neighborhood! Lloyd the owner is a very nice guy and he and his team do a very good job. They recently switched to organic products and I am so at ease knowing that it is safe for the kiddos and dogs!
