The entire team at dhd did a great job remodeling our master bath and updating tile in our kitchen, family room and laundry room. The quality of their work is excellent, they are neat and leave the work area clean at the end of each work day, and everyone is extremely nice. Luisa, Jesus and the entire dhd team are highly recommended.

DHD made my kitchen look like a million bucks, its gorgeous!!! I showed them my ideas and they delivered! Luisa, Jesus, Francys and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. The entire process from design to completion was done perfectly and they paid close attention to every detail in my design. The crew that did the work was meticulous in cleaning up everyday after they finished and above all the entire DHD team was so friendly and nice to work with. THANK YOU DHD!!!

Luisa, Jesus, Edgar and their entire amazing team designed and created our dream kitchen. They are beyond gifted and talented and have THE MOST a trusted, precise crew out there. We had a kitchen renovation by DHD and it turned out beautiful. Luisa did a great job designing our kitchen, I didn't think it could look this great. We would not change anything about how it turned out. The staff are very nice as well. Thank you DHD.

We hired dream for a full bathroom renovation and then a half bathroom renovation. They did a beautiful job. Luisa was great to work with and helped us pick up finishes in-line with our preferences. All hardware was handled on my own through Ferguson. Every single person that came to our home while working on the project was very professional and kind. Their work was thorough and they paid close attention to detail at every turn. The only reason we didn't give them five stars was because of a plumbing issue in the beginning but this wasn't the fault of Dream. Jesus was always quick to come over to supervise his team and answer any of our questions. Diego was especially fantastic, very patient with all of our questions and very attentive! We hope to work with them again on our next project in the future.

We contacted Dream Home Design after we were referred by a friend. Luisa worked diligently with us to get us exactly the design we wanted for our kitchen layout as well as our downstairs bathroom. She even took us in the rain to see several samples of granite because it was our only day off! Beyond great customer service, their install team was friendly and professional. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results! Our kitchen looks out of this world and my bathroom cabinet, granite and touch/motion-sensor faucet are awesome! I highly recommend DHD of Cary!

A complete kitchen remodel is a big deal and a bit scary but we are so happy we chose Dream Home Design to design, complete and turn our dream kitchen into reality! It is beyond gorgeous! Our friends say it's like walking into an HGTV show, only better. The materials, craftmanship and service was top end. We interviewed several companies and DHD delivered on both cost and quality of materials they use. The design and flow is perfect, the cabinets top end, and the cost was reasonable. DHD did an incredible job with our primary bathroom remodel. They do high quality work, and were diligent in getting the work done while they were in our home. Every worker that came to our home was courteous, professional, and kind. Luisa was super helpful in helping us decide what pieces and colors go together and we couldn't be happier with DHD's work. Only issue we encountered was with the home office: for example we had a design meeting, which is after we paid a 50% deposit, we took off work to be able to drive to the office and figure out what tile, colors, and hardware we were going with. Unfortunately, we found out 10 minutes before that their calendar system 'lost' our scheduled appointment and they had no other availability for a month later. It was tough after paying a significant amount of money and taking off work to have to push the timeline of getting things started further out and taking off work again. There were also other miscommunications with the home office - wrong paperwork sent out, forgetting we would be out of town for certain dates, etc. But we know that DHD is managing a lot of major projects and these things can happen.

Luisa and Jesus and the team at DHD did a beautiful job on our kitchen remodel! Luisa’s unique combination of GC and Designer superpowers were a welcome surprise — she helped us see a layout possibility for the remodel that we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise! The project leads were incredibly friendly and professional, always on site when work was active and they did a thorough cleanup at the end of each day. Luisa and Jesus were accessible and leaned in when we needed them. Above all, the quality of their work and craftsmanship was top top notch. We’re very glad we worked with DHD on our remodel and would do it again!

The craftsman who worked on our bathroom renovation were skilled professionals and created a beautiful primary bathroom. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the office staff coordinating the project. We were shown one piece of stone for our countertop which we rejected and removed the countertop from their scope of work. They ordered a clear annealed glass window when the materials list and building code required a frosted tempered glass window in this location. It took nearly 6 months for the proper window to be installed.

Luisa made it possible, her team made it happen. We struggled for several years to figure out how best to reimagine our kitchen and dining areas. Luisa listened to our issues and what we were wanting and came up with a design that worked perfectly and that fit within our budget. The communication throughout the design to completion was excellent. We knew when work was going to happen and they kept to their schedule. They did not compromise quality by rushing through the work. They were meticulous with keeping the dust under control with plastic curtains and daily vacuuming and kept the workspace clean. Their team was always respectful and accommodating. Shortly after completion, our first full family gathering of 17 proved the design was perfect.

We had DHD renovate our kitchen and laundry room and it turned out absolutely amazing! They removed a wall, pantry, replaced interior and exterior doors, redid our laundry room and more! They made a stressful process very smooth and easy for us! Their workmanship and attention to detail is incredible, their staff is so friendly and they clean up after themselves and you wouldn’t even know they were in your home. When I met with Luisa, I knew she was the company I wanted to hire to do the work! They made our dreams come true as you can see from the photos! You will not be disappointed if you work with DHD!

Not even sure where to begin with the outstanding experience we had with DHD...

We requested 4 quotes from local design/contracting companies. While DHD was on the pricier side, you get what you pay for when it comes to remodels and renovations.

Here's what we "got":

-5 star Michelin-style service and communication. Their team treated our home like it was a prized possession. A team member always arrived early to set up the space (lay down mats, review the plan, meet with another employee or sub, tell me the plan for the day, etc.). Someone would check in on work during the day. Finally, a team member would come and review the day's work, take out trash, clean the space, and fold up mats. Additionally, a member from the office would let me know the next day's plan (a plan for the entire week on the Friday before and again the day before the actual work) and send me a reminder in the morning. People from the office were always reachable. If something required a change order because it wasn't available or we changed our mind, they addressed it right away and kept the project moving.

-Creativity. We wanted a sauna that looked like it was always meant to be in the bathroom. We began with a wall soffit that transitioned into matching cedar framing. The outcome was beyond what we imagined.

-Quality product choices. I loved that we could mix high/low price points while not having to give up any quality.

-Listening to needs. We really wanted something with simple lines that was easy to clean and included thoughtful add-ons to make our life easier like: a docking drawer with outlets for my blow-dryer and flat iron (the best thing ever!), anti-fog mirror, shower guard glass door, custom pull out drawers to maximize storage space, etc.

-Inspections. All passed with flying colors. DHD always met the inspector at the home and passed easily. At our final inspection, the inspector said it was the most beautiful sauna set-up he'd ever seen.

Everyone at DHD who we met (from our initial email to meeting with Luisa, to all of the team who came through our home to review or work, to the office, etc.) were kind, responsive, friendly, and took pride in their work. Having experienced nightmare remodels and renovations in the past, DHD was a breath of fresh air and we look forward to our next project with them!

We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Luisa at DHD invested a lot of time developing three or four different designs over several months before we settled on the basic layout. Luisa also provided suggestions for plumbing and lighting fixtures which completed the final look.

We took down two interior walls, relocated plumbing and electrical lines, and installed two new windows. Everyone in Luisa's DHD crews was extremely professional, polite and ALWAYS cleaned up at the end of each workday. The office staff kept us informed of when work was scheduled so we always knew what to expect. We were impressed with the excellence of all aspects of the job, but in particular, the cabinet maker/installer Erasmo is a perfectionist. We would highly recommend DHD for any remodel project in your home.

Dream Home Designs did a wonderful job on our kitchen remodel! We met with 4 different companies when trying to determine the right design plan. Luisa was the one that truly listened to us and came up with the plan! Our kitchen is beautiful and functional! Luisa made suggestions that helped us think through the little things that would make our kitchen work better for our needs. The team in the office did a great job of keeping us informed of the work planned for each day. We got texts or calls to let us know what to expect the following day. Every member of the team was helpful and pleasant. They always took special care to protect the rest of our home from dust that might come from the work area. The work area was cleaned at the end of every day. The DHD team did a great job of taking care of our home and making sure that the all work being done was top quality! Communication is so important and we felt like the team did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the entire project. We truly could not have asked for a better experience!

Working with Luisa and the Dream Home team exceeded our expectations! Luisa worked hard to help us match our design preferences with our budget; coached us through the project timeline; and Veronica provided great communication throughout the entire experience so we knew what to expect when.
