I found Atkins Wiring online, and gave Todd a call about installing Starlink at my home. I reached out and he replied promptly. After verifying a couple of things about what hardware I had and the roof location where I wanted it installed, he gave me a price which I agreed to. He scheduled the installation for the following day. He arrived as promised and gave me several options to consider based on his experience. Once decided he and Casey got to work and got the job done promptly and efficiently, with Starlink up and running. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was satisfied. He even did a bit of extra work to help me get the most out of my setup. They were professional and did quality work. I definitely recommend them!

Todd did a super job! He was very nice to work with, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He made some excellent suggestions and we will absolutely work with him on other wiring projects to come.

I’ve hired Todd on four different occasions over the past several years to install antennas and cabling have always been pleased with his work. This past time was a birthday gift to my mother to install an antenna, so she could finally cut the cord with the cable company. She’s a happy customer now, too. Thanks Todd!

I saw a couple of recommendations on nextdoor.com and gave biz a call. Todd answered right away and I told him where we were located and what we wanted to do. He was hesitant to come to our location, about 30 minutes from his location, but would come there was enough work to be "worth it" to him. I had indicated there was a bunch of old wiring; CAT5, phone and Coaxial cable. in the house and crawl space that I wanted taken care of and wanted to extend ethernet to a room upstairs and had a TV to mount in a new custom wall system and a digital antenna to install on an existing pole on the roof. He refused to use the digital antenna I had researched and purchased as well as the highly rated full motion mount I had purchased, he wanted to supply his own. He decided he would just do the TV mounting and the antenna work, leaving the other cable work for another time. Initially quoting $480, "TV mounting if it's under 50 inches on a full motion mount would be about 150. The antenna installation including the antenna would run about 330." I set up (and took down) my ladder for him to reach the low roof. He had difficulty locating the correct cable coming off the old DirectTv that we initially planned to use and he ended up running yet another coaxial cable! He tried charging me $650 and when I balked at the increase he took $50 off. I still felt overcharged after researching what he had installed (the antenna does not perform much better than the MOHU LEAF INDOOR HDTV ANTENNA I had been using) and he eventually agreed to return another $50, making the total job $550.

Pros: Answered the initial call and kept communication flowing via text messages. Arrived on time! After the job when I expressed my disappointment, he returned $50

Cons: Left crawl space door wide open and the lights on. which I discovered more than a week later. Used a "cable staple" stuck on the mount to level the tv and made a show of how level the tv was. Discovered when hooking up the Soundbar. I found this a bit deceptive. Excessive pricing for equipment services provided.

Bottomline, the work quality was less than expected and the pricing was excessive for the end result. Todd was willing to work with me on the final pricing though and I appreciate that.

Todd did an excellent job modernizing my ethernet connections. I bought my house two years ago and it's a 25 year old house. It was using very old telecom boards and connections. I wanted hardline ethernet connections from all my rooms to my Google Fiber Router. Todd was able to quickly identify each connection and connect them to my router. I whole-heartedly recommend his services to anyone that needs networking work done in their home.

Todd is everything I wanted for running a new ethernet cable! He was kind, polite, and even ended up offering to come a day early. Will definitely use him again in the future.

I hands down had the best experience working with Todd. I recently moved into a new home and needed my Starlink set up. Todd communicated extremely well and spent the time necessary to understand my hopes for the project and explain my options to me. He provided information and advice to help me make informed decisions about the look, functionality, and overall aspects of my install. I contacted him mid-day Wednesday and he was there Friday morning. I was very comfortable working with him and he is great at what he does. After this initial project he is now my go to guy. He also does other projects not just electrical. He mounted a 65” TV for me during the same visit and was very efficient while still doing an excellent job. Thank you!

Todd helped remediate a structured wiring problem that was incorrectly done during the construction phase of our new home. . He was able to get the root cause our wiring issues and fix the problem which significantly improved our wifi/internet performance. He's very thorough, courteous, and responsive. Incredible work!

I needed a Starlink satellite installed for my older parents who live in a rural area. Todd came out, assessed what needed to be done and got to work. Installation , wiring and connection all done very well. We are very happy with the results. We now have a consistent Internet connection. He even took a little time to chat with my dad once he learned they both had come from the same small town. Highly recommended by myself and my family!

Todd is awesome. We need to install an ethernet outlet in one of the rooms in our house to have stronger Internet, and he was able to figure out exactly how to wire it through our attic and install it in under an hour. Kind, honest and reasonable guy. Highly recommend.

He is very knowledgeable, responsive, professional and thorough and took the time to explore and explain all the wiring/cables left by the previous owner (which was a lot). We had a nearby lightening strike to our house in Pittsboro, NC and I called Atkins Wiring to check all my wired home network connections after we had damage to several networked devices. He arrived early and was very thorough checking all Ethernet connections. He even found, and connected up, an Ethernet line that the home builder had not correctly installed. Todd did a phenomenal job with my Cat6 Ethernet installation. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to get from my AT&T fiber box to our third floor home office but Todd pulled out a few tricks and got it sorted super fast. Great experience. Will be a return customer.
