Johny and his team just finished a patio area for our fire pit and we couldn't be more pleased. They worked very quickly, finishing the project in 2 days, and were very tidy. If you choose to work with Concepts Outdoor Living, you won't be disappointed!

Our project was a paver pool deck enlargement that required drainage work and a retaining wall.
I struggle to know where to start with this review. Were they the cheapest? No. Were they the most expensive? No.
What I can tell you is that the quality of design and workmanship and attention to detail far exceeded my expectation. From the initial design consult, to the final piece of the project it was and is perfect.
I would have zero reservations calling them back for additional work, and plan do do so at some point.

We asked Johny’s Masonry to design a new visitors’ entrance to our home, which involved the construction of a new walkway, a new set of replacement steps (with lighting) and a larger landing at the top of the steps. Each element was to be composed of slate. The firm came up with a creative plan that blends well with our home’s exterior design. The quality of work was excellent, and the project more than met expectations.

Concepts Outdoor Living was excellent! They removed and replaced a large brick patio at our home in Cotswold. Of four estimates, they were the only company to suggest re-using the existing brick as a way to reduce the cost of the large project. The brick was in good shape, just buckling due to not being previously installed professionally and due to drainage issues. Maria and crew were friendly, professional and worked hard until the end. They updated the design of the patio and walkways and installed a french drain to address the drainage issue. They took great care with 2 large, old oaks on either side of the patio. We're extremely happy with the result and are looking forward to spending many evenings out back this Fall!

Outstanding professional business with employees who are punctual, courteous, and take pride in their work. It may not be the least expensive quote you receive but you will not have a greater experience. Johny will listen to your vision and consider your budget. He then will create both a hardscape and landscape that will be beyond your expectations and the value of your home will increase. Attention to detail just blew my mind. They really care about their customers and will make sure you are pleased.. Maria was our office communicator and she was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Clive and his crew did a phenomenal job with our patio project. They provided several designs that met our needs and we selected what was best for home. Our experience with this company was outstanding. They communicated with us throughout the project. They listened to our concerns and adjusted accordingly. These are craftsmen at their best. I highly recommend this company.

Our project was completed in January, and included building a patio, sidewalks, a sitting wall, and corresponding steps.
Concepts Outdoor Living by Johnys Masonry helped us with the design, and once we approved, they began working every day from early morning to dusk. Communication was excellent; Maria would immediately contact Johny with any questions or concerns that needed to be fixed, and these issues were addressed immediately.
You can tell a lot from a company by the way they treated the plants that were in the way of the construction. The workers were very mindful of them and even replanted some of them.
Johny is very experienced and we are grateful for that. He suggested adding lights in a certain place, which we did not think to add, but we are very glad that he recommended it because it looks great.
The results are absolutely beautiful and the process was not stressful at all. I am very happy with the results and would recommend this company to everyone.

The team at Concepts was amazing from the first initial contact to the completed project. Johny provided us with design ideas that we hadn’t even thought of and really took into account our home and existing features. The craftsmanship, materials, professionalism were top notch - the team even left the job site cleaner than when they found it. I highly recommend Concepts for any project. We worked with Johny and Outdoor Concepts to install a large bluestone patio under our porte-cochere. We are glad he came by to actually look at our space versus providing an electronic quote on approximate square footage alone. His team worked hard to identify the best color match for our existing stone work and the results are beautiful. It's wonderful to see them bring your vision to life! Johny and his team did an amazing job on our grill area and fire pit. He used materials that we had on hand, scheduled out our project, was upfront with costs, was here when he said he’d be, his team worked full days consecutively to finish the project (most days well into the evening), kept the job site super clean, kept me in the loop about any budget changes, and even installed our mailbox which wasn’t a part of the original contract. Johny and his team are kind, diligent, and honest. I cannot recommend them enough!

Johnny and his team were extremely professional, and they created a beautiful fire pit for our family and friends to enjoy for many years to come! Our job was to replace a crumbling brick staircase and cracked concrete pathway with a new walk using natural stone. Johny and his team did a phenomenal job of listening to our needs, making valuable design suggestions and offering a fair price. The project was completed on time and on budget, and the quality of work more than met our expectations. We have greatly enjoyed working with Concepts Outdoor for our covered outdoor living area with fireplace. They are truly a one-stop shop from beginning to end of the project. Mike, the project manager & designer, saw our vision from day 1 & because of him, we chose to contract with Concepts. Once the project began, all contractors (carpentry, masonry / flooring, electrical, & gas) were coordinated through Mike. We had feedback throughout the process & it was incorporated into the build. Johny & Maria were also instrumental to the success & showed great attention to detail, which was very much appreciated. It even felt like they were family, as we worked with them. We had a great experience with Concepts Outdoor Living right from the start. Johny came out for the initial, free, consultation and had a proposal in my inbox prior to leaving our driveway. Once the work was scheduled the crew was onsite at 8am and worked meticulously for the next two days laying new blue stone on our patio.
