Had a shower door replaced have to pay an arm and a leg for a “clean up” expense that just for them to use the trash can I had and me have to remove the glass myself while previously needing spine surgery.

And on top of it they leave keys to enter my unit under a floor mat instead of returning to the apartments office. Leaving access open for my unit.

So I’m at the apartments in Gaffney. Our complex sent emails a month ago saying there were going to be kitchen renovations starting June 14. We had to take our literally everything that was in, on top, and under the counters/cabinets. For whatever reason there were unable to tell us when each apartment was going to be worked on. Which I found to be odd. I’m thinking if you signed a contract with professionals they should know how long it should take and which time they would be at each complex. It’s week 3/4 since that email and they just came this week. IVE GONE ALMOST A WHOLE MONTH WITHOUT REAL HOMECOOKED FOOD. Not only that they left the doors open letting the air conditioning out, left it unlocked even though they had to use a key to get in, left the lights on for hours when they had to cut them on when they came in, left stains and debris all in the floor and stove, one man actually turned the oven on and didn’t notice. Then today I’m finally putting everything back on Friday/ Saturday when in actually they were done on Thursday and didn’t say anything. I look under the cabinet where the sink is and it’s a wood block with nails sticking out if it. Like what is that?! I’m irritated that I have to clean after people that I didn’t hire, that I had to wait on for 3 weeks, who left a careless mess and who most likely ran my utility bill up. So irritated.

I’ve known Tim and his family for more than twenty years. They’re a devout, stand-up, and very, very talented family. Should I ever need help with any difficulties, I always know that I can turn to Tim and that he will do his best for me without fail.

Buyer beware! We received the bitterness of poor quality without the sweetness of the low price!! The crawl space had to be corrected within a year by a qualified contractor, and the roof has to be replaced after only 5 years. The company disappeared from the job for months on end. Again…buyer beware!!

I will definitely say that this company is a very trustworthy, honest and reliable group of people. I would not hesitate at all to give them a call for your next renovation or home repair.

Tim & helper were very friendly, professional and did excellent work in a timely fashion. Highly recommend them but hope I don’t need their services again. But wouldn’t hesitate to call if the need arises.

Tim Moss is my hero! I sold my house without even listing it and one of the real challenges came after I received the inspection report. I needed to handle several repairs within 5 days and had no clue what to do so I called Tim. He sent a contractor over within 48 hours who took care of everything quickly and professionally. Just a word of thanks to Tim moss and sons home improvement. We had a water line break at our shop. After contacting Tim, he sent tim Jr over who located the break and had it fixed in no time. This is the second time we have used them. First time was for some electrical work in our garage. Again fast, friendly and fair service. Thanks guys.

Tim Moss Jr. is a consummate professional who knows exactly what needs to be done and exactly how to do it. He tackled a big job for me and did it in the exact time frame he said he would and for the exact cost he quoted. There were no surprises, unless you consider that so few services show up when they say they will, do the job beyond your expectations and don't charge additional costs. That's really the only surprise with Tim: that he is someone who does great work, shows up when he says he will, finish when he says he'll finish, and charge what he said he'd charge. Quality work and craftsmanship. Tim Moss & Sons Home Improvement has provided my clients excellent quality work, prompt estimates, they include their customers in the process and they take pride in the final product. I was thoroughly impressed by their level of expertise including electrical, foundations, roofing and general building practices. Not only do they provide outstanding craftsmanship, they are wonderful people.

Tim Moss and Sons is the best contractor I have a wee worked with. They are the most professional, experienced and capable people I have ever dealt with. I had tens of thousands of dollars of water damage in my home. Tim and his crew repaired my crawlspace, leveled out my house, encapsulated the crawlspace, installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout my entire house, installed new granite cabinets in the kitchen, installed granite countertops in the bathrooms, installed a brand new walk-in shower, replaced most of the old plumbing pipes, replaced the main sewage line to the yard, and replaced rotten wood under the house. they did all of this while also coordinating with me because I work from home. They were absolutely respectful and dependable. I wholeheartedly, recommend Tim Moss and sons for any small or large project.

Tim and his company have performed construction and General Contracting jobs over the years to my great satisfaction! If you need a high quality job done in residential or commercial construction, plumbing or electrical then you want Tim and his company on the job! They are fantastic with new or existing remodel projects. They do what they say they will do. If you have concerns about something, I have found Tim and his company respond quickly and honestly.

We've hired Tim Moss & Sons on several projects, including replacing our roof and gutters on the top side, and underneath in our crawlspace and foundation by replacing the insulation and installing a vapor barrier, footer drain, sump pump, and dehumidifier. While they were down there Tim also replaced a rotten beam. While they were not the cheapest, we felt like we got a deal compared to some estimates we got from other contractors.
The Moss team did a great job for us, and we will definitely use them for future projects.

The top steps to our deck some how had come loose causing the top 3 or 4 to sag down about 4 inches. Tim was able to see what caused it (poor workmanship) and we scheduled the repair for 3 days out. They worked from about 11 am to 4 pm and had the stairs solid as a rock. Very unusual repair job was handled like it was routine. Very pleased with the work and the cost.

We recently had The Novak Group renovate our master bathroom with a limited timeframe. Brian and his team did a phenomenal job removing an old tub and constructing a beautiful walk-in shower. We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend The Novak Group to anyone!

I worked with the Novak Group to turn four rooms into one large room and couldn't be happier with the result. He worked with me to let me perform some of the work myself to save some money and he was clear on the constraints and upfront with cost. His colleague Ellen was on site for most days to coordinate. As with any large project there were a few miscommunications, but always addressed in a short amount of time. Would use again and recommend to others. Some of his competitors were equally good and they provided more hand-holding and personal attention, but they all charged for their time, so make sure you find a contractor that fits your needs.
