They are the most unprofessional group you will every meet. The Owner Mike Sneed has the worst customer service skills ever and will even blame the customer for his employees mishaps. I ordered a dishwasher from Sears Outlet and they were contracted to be the service provider. I have set up now two appointments to recieve my dishwasher and still to this date do not have the item i purchased. The last time i was on the phone with the driver (chris) he told me my dishwasher was on the back of his truck and it would be back at seara in 30 mins to an hour. The only thing the owner said was i can schedule a new time to come out. If possible ask sears for a another contractor if they say sneed is delivering your product.

I bought a dishwasher from a company that had an installation agreement with Sneed. Several months after installation, I noticed that my subfloors were creaking and hardwoods cupping. When I pulled out the dishwasher, I noticed that water line hook up had a constant drip. This rotted the floors underneath, and wicked across the subfloor ruining hardwoods in other place of the kitchen.
I understand that mistakes happen (this one should have been avoidable if they checked the connection) but the response was unacceptable. I found out that Sneed had contracted the install to a Hinton trucking company. Sneed did assess the damage but after 2 month of badgering had done nothing. I was told that Hinton trucking was going to assess damage as well and took a full day of work off for a company that never showed up.
I finally had to get my insurance involved in the situation. Due to their negligence and refusal to take accountability, I am stuck with paying for >$5K of repairs. Hire at your own risk as you may find yourself in a similar situation.

Brandon, the technician that was sent, was awesome. He was on time, professional, and explained everything in a way I could understand. Brandon put on gloves and a mask which is really important in these times! He fixed the problem with my refrigerator, and discovered a leaky valve that was causing water damage behind my refrigerator. Had he not taken the time to check, I might have needed to replace flooring! I’m no expert on pricing, but what I paid seems reasonable to me (and I’m tight with my money!). If this is the type of service that usually happens with Sneed, then I would definitely recommend this business to my friends!

This company delivered and installed my dishwasher. Delivery date change was not communicated to me. Had to move a Dr. Appointment for the reschedule. Brought the wrong but similar looking appliance and installed. Had to go back to the store to get a refund of the difference in price. Installers didn't adjust or level the washer. I had to pull it back out myself to level it. I truly should have just done all the work myself. I would not recommend or call this company for any service.

My experience with Sneed Electrical has been less than great. I am working with them through American Home Shield and three months later, my dishwasher is still broken! Their staff continues to order the incorrect part, a simple part I might add.
When the repairman arrived to "repair" the dishwasher on the second attempt, he didn't even know what he was here to repair!

I have been waiting for my dishwasher to be repaired since 11/6/22 (67 days ago). I was assigned Sneed through my warranty company and they have been less than helpful.

They first came to the house on 11/23. I opened the door and said “hi, how are you?” and he walked inside saying “where is the dishwasher”, no hello or introducing himself. He ordered a part, which was delivered to me and then I had to call to schedule a second visit. On the second visit on 12/5, the tech said “I knew this wasn’t going to be the right part” - then why did you order it? At that point, he stated that the dishwasher needed to be replaced because they can’t fix the part that is needed. He said that he would let American Home Shield know and that they will follow up with me.

I never heard back from either Sneed or AHS for over three weeks, so on 12/30 I called AHS for an update on getting a new dishwasher - AHS says that they were never told that the appliance should be replaced, and that Sneed requested they order another part to fix the current appliance instead. They said that they had delivery records that Sneed had received the part on 12/29 and that they should be contacting me to set up service.

I called Sneed on 1/3 after not hearing from them, and they said they do not have the part. I called AHS back on 1/10 who confirmed the delivery of the part to Sneed. AHS then called them directly. Sneed was told by the warranty company that they had 24 hours to contact the AHS parts department, authorization department, AND myself. I should have been contacted by 2:27PM on 1/11. It is now 1/12/23, 38 days after the tech from Sneed recommended to me that the dishwasher be replaced (I have this conversation recorded, by the way).

Every phone call I’ve made to the company for an update request has been completely reasonable given the time this has taken, yet I have been given an attitude and quite frankly unprofessional behavior from all.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS. If you are assigned to work with them through AHS, I would recommend requesting a new contractor be assigned.

I don't like to leave bad reviews. I usually try to give the benefit of the doubt. I was having trouble with water leaking on to the floor from our refrigerator due to drain line clogged. Repair man came out and cleaned the drain line and dumped ice build up in sink. He was at the house less then a half hour and charged $120 for just labor. He told me that the repair had a warranty. The problem was not fixed and refrigerator is still leaking. Company would not pick up phone. Called several times and left voicemail but no response. I guess they received their money and moved on to the next.

Update March 8th, 2021: The owner of the company contacted me and set up a time to remedy the issue. He made good on his promise and all is well. I would recomend this company.

My repair technican was awesome! (I don't remember his name, sorry) He was on time, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, he had the spare part that was needed for the job and fixed my microwave in one go. I'm very pleased with Sneed electrical and would definitely recommend them :) thank you!!

I had an outstanding experience with Sneed Appliance Service in Johnston County, NC! I called in the morning for an appliance install, and by the afternoon, the job was completed. Their team was prompt, professional, and highly efficient, converting the appliance in no time. The service was excellent, and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend Sneed Appliance Service for their quick response and top-quality work!
