Mariano and his team were on site today at the Village of Saint Andrews and did a wonderful job. Our landscape committee had been trimming crepe myrtles and had many branches piled up in the street. They not only offered to pick up everything for us, but raked the yards and cleaned all the small debris from the street and yards. This was exceptional service and more than we expected. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone.

The Terra Green team worked in my community and Antonio and his team did an excellent job, giving my garden a beautiful view.

I'm so incredibly grateful for the Terra Green team and the work that they just completed for us. It was a drainage problem that was a bit tricky because it ran underneath our patio. Although others had hesitated, Terra Green confidently jumped in and had the issue completely resolved within a couple of hours. Lots of digging and plant removal was required but, I would have never known as my yard looked untouched when the work was completed. True professionalism from the initial conversation, the on-site evaluation, the quoting process, communication on scheduling to the execution of the work!

Our community HOA has used Terra Green for several years. We live in an older neighborhood with established landscaping, which is nice, but also means there is always some type of unexpected maintenance that needs to be done. Our experience has been great. Our Terra Green manager, Chris, has always been super responsive and communicates very well, both with us and with his team on the ground. Overall a great landscaping partner for our community, both Terra Green and Chris! 5 Stars!

I live in Morrison Plantation and the common areas always look great. After servicing there are never any left over grass cuttings. Always courteous when they are working making sure they don’t blow grass on the cars. I met Shawn W and he answered all my questions and really worked well with his employees. He was professional and kind. He worked great with his employees. Would recommend to local businesses.

We are very pleased with the design proposal we got from Terra Green. Dan Sargent came out, listened to our thoughts and needs and right there (on the spot) started showing us design possibilities. He sent us a formal proposal, which was beautiful and readonably priced. He communicated very well and answered all out questions. He even solved a lighting issue for the space. We are very excited to get started. (Our delay not theirs).

I live in the Village of St Andrews in Matthews and we have been involved with Terra Green for probably 10 years, at least. Mariano and his team are punctual (the truck arrives at almost the same time every week), hardworking and thorough. Sometimes it is almost dark when they leave but they always do a good job. Our lawns look better than they have ever have and our trees and shrubs are meticulously pruned and maintained. We get a lot of questions from neighboring communities about our lawn care and we are quick to point out Terra Green. We tell our residents to not disturb the crew but Mariano is always polite and listens if someone has a concern. I would highly recommend them.

David B and his team have been handling the upkeep of the common areas in the Kellswater Bridge community this summer and have done a better job than the larger teams from prior years. I stopped to ask him some questions this afternoon and not only did he stop his machines, he took time to talk with me and listen to my concerns. I look forward to seeing his team every week or so.

This is the level of care & service you will receive from this landscaper. Promises routine maintenance but severely under performs in every aspect. Extremely disappointed.

UPDATE 7/9/25: Called the number in the comment from the owner as instructed in the reply - and they have NO IDEA who replied to this review! Amazing! There must be a ghost!

Best ever!! Terra Green has been providing monthly landscaping services for our Class A retail shopping centers in Charlotte for several years. Their teams are professional, creative and exceed every expectation. Todd Smartt, our Relationship Manager, has an amazing eye and knowledge of landscape design, landscape installation, as well as, landscaping lighting.

They did a fantastic job on our residential landscaping projects, which included a 15' fire pit area installation, side door pathway, stepping stones, seed & straw of backyard, and mulching of entire yard.

They were highly responsive, were careful with our newly seeded grass (the other landscaping elements came 2 months after seeding), and produced a beautiful final product. Everyone is amazed at how well our seeded & strawed back lawn came in (after only 2 months), and looks 10x better than the original seeded & strawed lawn from the spring.

We've worked with various landscaping companies to improve and maintain our outdoor space, and this was by far our best experience, and at a fair price.

Terra Green takes care of the common areas where we live. The crew does a great job at maintaining the areas. Really appreciate the hard work!

Update: In addition - their team did some work for our property. I was blown away at the attention to detail they had with the project. Even things I wasn't expecting for this particular job were being done. That is not something most landscaping companies would do. Very happy with their entire team! Highly recommended!

One star is too high of a rating. I am not one to complain but this company is literally STEALING our money and Kuester HOA is doing nothing about it. I have tried to give both companies the opportunity to resolve this matter but I am FED UP and so are my neighbors!! It would be amazing if Kuester and Terragreen would actually take pride in the quality of their performance, satisfaction of their customers, and have professionalism and work ethic. They are on time for sure; they show up to pretend to mow, what is no longer grass, it's literally straw. This way they can bill our HOA which has done nothing to fix the issue in 2 years!! We had gorgeous green sod to begin with as shown below. I do not have a pic of when they also sodded the part beyond our lot, but it was so beautiful. All it needed was water. Our sprinklers NEVER come on!!!! Drip lines NEVER come on!! Bushes dead!! Lies about replacing them and fertilizing and aerating. They may fertilize, but with zero water or rain, what good will it do? Fix our sprinklers please!!! Please take note of the tall weed that is in one of the pics by the fence. It has been there for over a month. I refused to pull it as I have done with the others as I pay for lawn care! I also added a pic of them napping in the backyard in the truck. If my lawn was actually green "TerribleGreen" then sure take a break. Maybe change the name to TerraBrown. Just a thought.

Chase and his Terra Green landscape team did a great job removing debris and installing great quality pine needles in my front, side and back yard. Makes it look great after a dull winter’s look. The photos don’t do it justice but I have added a couple.

I wanted to share an experience I had recently involving Terra Green. I called the company immediately after the experience and spoke with George, who has such a wonderful personality and his genuine happiness came through on the telephone. He suggested I leave a review online so that is what I am doing. I live in a well-known neighborhood on the North side of Charlotte that has MANY landscaping companies come thru through daily. My husband and I are frequently irritated by the disrespectful driving habits of the majority of these drivers, who REPRESENT their companies due to the giant advertising sign they are driving around, also known as the COMPANY vehicle. This morning, we witnessed a Terra Green vehicle slowly driving thru the neighborhood, assuming they were looking for a specific address. We then realized this was just a GOOD driver, as he was obeying the speed limit and stopping to let walkers with their dogs cross the road. Then we witnessed him/her full stop at a 4 way stop sign and signal before turning, not a ROLLING stop but an actual stop. I cannot tell you how impressed I am that a company/ employee is respectful enough in a neighborhood to obey the rules of the road and realizes that they are driving a rolling billboard for their company... Thumbs up to the driver...THANK YOU so much for being a good person and WONDERFUL DRIVER... and to the company, my husband and I have been contemplating hiring a lawn service and this act just put you into the top spot!!! I just figured as a society we hear WAY too much about what we do wrong and wanted to say YOU are doing something RIGHT!!

Would not consider using or recommending this company based on the way this guy drives. I was in a merging lane, about to merge per lawful merging rules, he refused to let me over. Think twice about driving like a jerk in a company truck, it reflects poorly on your company and could cost you money when you get in an accident because of it.

I am a property manager and Terra Green services my community. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Chris Robst is so amazing. he’s very detail oriented and communicates effectively and in a timely manner. Great representation of the company. They have our property looking amazing and treat us well.

The team at Terra Green was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. When Dan came by to do the estimate, he took my simple idea—just clearing out the unusable space in the back corner of our yard—and turned it into the beginning of a beautiful garden bed for us to grow into.

The crew who worked on the space was professional and efficient, even with the nonstop rain. They were careful around the rest of our property, and despite the soft ground, our existing grass looked untouched. I was worried that all the rain we had right after the job was finished would wash away the new seed, but thanks to the way they installed it, the new grass is already thriving.

For any future landscaping needs, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Terra Green again!

I highly recommend Terra Green. I had a visual idea to improve my landscaping and a long overdue refreshing which included new plants, translating a few plants, adding topsoil, mulch, removed some grassed areas, and added river rock. They took what my ideas were, gave suggestions on some things, a couple tweaks, and made it happen. They work fast, but with care and attention to the details. I can't speak highly enough for the crew that worked on my project. It would've taken me no telling how many weeks, and they did it in a hair over two days. (The stacked rock walls were all me before hand, to save money but I really needed the exercise lol).

Our experience with Sal’s Contracting was very good. Sal and his crew are courteous, knowledgeable and on time. Snags were addressed promptly and our overall experience with them was very, very good.

Sal is my go to contractor. I have hired him for several home improvement projects, both large and small and he and his crew do a wonderful job each and every time. There attention to detail is what sets his service apart. I highly recommend them!
