one of Durham's best garden center. Large selection, friendly & knowledgeable staff. You get a wagon to roll around and load up your plant choices. They even help you load things in your car-did I mention very reasoanable prices?

This plant nursery is located in the West side of Durham about 1 mile from Bennett Place historic site. This nursery has a varied selection of annuals + perennials + trees + pots & supplies. The staff are friendly & welcome the chance to help you find the right plants for your needs. Easy parking.

I was just passing through NC and I am so glad that I stopped here. Staff were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent selection of tomatoes, herbs, ground covers, hostas, house plants, shrubs, and indoor plants all at very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed browsing there colorful selection of greens today and highly recommend the advice of the friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Wonderful garden center! They had non invasive wisteria and the delivery fee for a large order was just $15!

A little gem hidden away!

When I first arrived with my dad I commented that I wasn't expecting much, but this place truly surprised me. They had a little bit of everything and some varieties of plants you don't see in most places.

What an enjoyable visit!

The staff here is very helpful. The plants are always different when I come by so if you're looking for something specific, check if it's in season. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, is a great place to visit and browse.

Excellent selection. Extremely knowledgeable. Took a lot of time explaining options, what would and what wouldn't work/fit my specific gardening needs.

We had the Durham Garden Center assist us with outfitting our offices with plants and pots. They were super helpful in both selecting the plants and getting them potted/delivered. Highly recommend them!

I've always wanted a aloe Vera plant. I found one and it was so healthy and just pretty. The young lady who worked there showed me flower pots I could and also the potting soil. Great place to buy plants and their necessities.

I visited Durham Garden Center today and was incredibly put off when I asked the customer service associate a question and was met with a sarcastic, condescending, and rude reply. I simply pivoted on my heels, left the store, and vowed to never return again! A certain level of sarcasm may be appropriate when interacting with one's friends, however it is not appropriate in the workplace when interacting with a customer who is in your place of business to potentially purchase goods.

Just stopped in on lunch, what a wonderful selection of houseplants! Priced decent too! Staff very friendly. I will return!!

Fantastic selection of plants and shrubs indoors and out. Well curated and organized by shade requirement, type (perennials, annuals, and such), all suitable for landscaping or your garden. A store in front has loads of gifts, accessories and potted plants ready to stage at home.

Bailey assisted me and encouraged me so much on use and essentials in the beautiful plants I bought and even helping me with identification of plants in my own yard. This place is a great resource and I shall be returning often.

I want to like this place a bit more. Maybe ive just been here at off times of the year but I do love their aesthetic. Their entryway partial sun canopy is decorated nicely, and they had a drcent selection out back, but many of yhe plants looked pretty stressed (annuals/fruit/veg). Some plants can be a tad pricey.

Beautiful plants and great customer service!

This plant nursery and the staff are awesome! We walked in knowing very little about plants and walked out learning so much more. The prices were affordable and the service was great. We bought our 1st house plant and we will be back!

My wife and I love coming here! They have a huge selection of plants, whether you’re looking for indoor or outdoor. All of the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. We were needing helping with pollenators and they pointed us in the right direction.

Sweet store, kind stuff. CHECK OUR THEIR AMAZING NATIVE PLANTS OUT BACK!!! Omg! I was so overwhelmed and pleased to see the ROWS of native plants! Get yourself a native pollinator and make all the bees and birds and butterflies in your yard happy this spring and summer. Thank you! (Also they have an entire tent of soil selections I still need to check out! Durham Garden Center is WAY MORE than a small shop with fancy houseplants!)

Oh my god, true horticulturists. More than willing to spend time to advise and consult. I was there an hour, and Russell answered all of my questions and made all perfect recommendations. I have a tree and plants that support bees and butterflies, are hardy, drought resistant, and all of the advice needed to care for them. This is is the best garden center I have ever been to!!

Excellent wide variety of well kept plants. It has the best local indoor plant selection that I have experienced thus far. Definitely helped step up my pothos collection. I can't wait to go back.
