Grow It Yourself has helped us create gardens twice and have been wonderful to work with. They help us design the space and worked to understand how it can best work for our home and family.

Noam and his great team have put in gardens for us, and cleared areas of our yard of grass- putting in native plants. He is dependable, easy to work with, responsive and reasonably priced.

I received the following email response from Noam, GIY owner, a week and a half before the start date of my project:

‘You can think whatever you want. After many issues with plants replacement this past summer due to weather or lack of care by customers we changed our policy and this is why I mentioned it. Since we still haven’t started any actual work you can still look for a different company to get this done for you if you feel we are not a good match.’

This was in response to me expressing disappointment in learning last minute that he was not going to honor the plant replacement policy he promised, which is one of the reasons I chose his company. I was never rude or disrespectful and never once said I wanted to cancel, especially since it was so close to my start date and I had material on hold at various places that I spent countless hours selecting.

Another fact I learned too late, even though I asked many questions about the budget before I went to select my plants: he doesn’t pass along his nursery discount to his customers. So, he pockets the difference ($1k in my case) in addition to the plant installation fee. I might as well buy all of the plants myself so I can at least get the benefit of the credit card points.

$16k may not be a lot to Noam; but it is a lot of money to me. So, of course, I’m not going to give thousands of dollars to someone who is perfectly okay with doing a last minute bait and switch or to someone who is so quick to tell me I can go somewhere else, knowing it will be impossible for me to find another landscaper on such short notice. Guess I should consider myself lucky I found this out before he started work at my house only to leave me high and dry with an unfinished project.

Noam and team transformed my front yard into a fabulous oasis! I had a desolate space where I'd been unable to grow anything. It's now a bee and butterfly haven. In 20 years, I've never gotten a compliment on my front yard...until now! They installed plants, irrigation, pavers, river rock, and mulch. They worked full days until it was done. Highly recommend!

Noam and his team were a delight to work with. Price was very reasonable for the scope of work done. Project was a dry creek to channel storm water runoff in our backyard. The result was both beautiful and functional (will try to attach photo and video of dry creek in action) - it was tested just days later by a torrential downpour and performed beautifully. Would definitely recommend Grow It Yourself for your gardening and landscaping needs.

Noam and his team did a great job at our house. He came to look at our yard, listened to all of our concerns and desires, and made a number of great suggestions. Ultimately, he installed two raised vegetable beds, transplanted roses, and replanted a large bed. He and his team did all this in a single day and did a wonderful job. We found the price to be extremely reasonable.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Grow It Yourself! They built and installed beautiful raised beds in my backyard, and the process was quick, easy, friendly, and super professional. I just had them landscape my backyard and they created a design that was exactly what I wanted, got me an estimate quickly and significantly less than a competitor, and the install was speedy and professional including on-the-spot problem solving for a drainage issue we didn't anticipate. My plants are all thriving. I love GIY and will continue to use them for all of my landscaping and growing needs!

Noam and his Grow It Yourself crew are a delight to work with - hard workers and all done for a fair price! Noam provided lots of ideas and insight and was patient with us as we debated and made decisions. They planted a group of trees behind a new privacy fence for us, cleared out a mess of an overgrown area and created a pretty bed that will soon provide shade and privacy without turning into the wild again. And they built a beautiful patio and walkway with pavers for us. We will be bringing them back in the Fall for more projects!

Grow It Yourself did an excellent job addressing the drainage problem that had developed along our driveway, through our backyard. They assessed the situation and included the expertise to execute the necessary fix. The team was very pleasant, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up following the project. We will certainly call Grow It Yourself for our next landscaping project.

Noam and his team did a beautiful job creating a new walkway and firepit in our backyard. The quality of their work was excellent. They also did a lot of clearing work, and Noam made excellent suggestions for removal/retention of existing trees and bushes.
