This was my first time using Grow It Yourself. I will be using them again! Noam had great suggestions and the work looks great.

We needed stone work on a ramp in the back yard which we had tried to do ourselves and failed. They did great work and communicated well and were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience with Noam and his team! He squeezed in my relatively small job on pretty short notice and it was exactly what I hoped for. After an initial consult where we discussed the vision, he took my jungly front yard that had some perennials already there and cleaned it up, added definition/borders, and planted a bunch of perennial native plants, all in half a day and for a very reasonable cost.

I told Noam my vision for my yard, and he turned it into a reality! He and his team were very efficient, and the final product turned out exactly how I wanted. If I have any other projects, I will definitely be contacting Noam again.

Noam and his team were prompt and efficient. They installed a rain barrel on a custom built platform, and laid down edging around an area dedicated for a bee hive. Great communications from the entire team, and super neat too! Overall, we’re very happy with the results.

I contacted Noam because my neglected pandemic garden had grown out of control. Noam and his team did an incredible job clearing out massive amounts of weeds from three different areas. They also thoughtfully relocated plants I had put in the wrong spots and added a variety of beautiful perennials. Noam and Grow it Yourself installed a retaining wall in our backyard. The yard had a significant slope and this leveled it so we could put a series of raised beds in. They did a great job. Very pleased and would definitely recommend Grow It Yourself.

Working with Grow It Yourself was such a great experience! Noam is an absolute pleasure! He's kind, patient, and easy to communicate with. We had a tricky slope on our HOA property that was causing constant erosion headaches, and he came up with a smart and beautiful solution that fit within our limited budget. We also collaborated with the Durham County Soil & Water Department on this project, and Noam was incredibly helpful and communicative with them throughout the process, making everything run smoothly. He took the time to listen and work with us, and the end result is both functional and gorgeous. Noam, the owner of Grow it Yourself, came out to our newly built home. We discussed a couple of ideas for our landscaping in general terms. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us with ideas to put in beds and a walkway. We accepted his reasonable bid. It took 2 days to complete the job. His staff were amazing and their work ethic was one rarely seen in today’s world. We know other people who have used this company with very similar experiences. Excellent work at fair prices!

Noam and his team did a fantastic job with our enclosed garden beds and flagstone path. He is very responsive, professional and provides high quality work!

I could not be happier and highly recommend Grow It Yourself. I needed my garden beds prepped, starting with clearing serious weeds that were overwhelming for me. They did that, and rebuilt a bed that had fallen apart and built two to replace beds that were not salvageable. Then they brought in soil to fill all 12 beds, and something in that soil is turbo-charging my veggies and flowers! Everything looks amazing! I also needed hedges trimmed, and for all of this they came in very close to the original estimate, communicated well, showed up when they said they would and got it all done quickly. Flexible, reliable and cheerful. Highly recommend Grow It Yourself!

Noam and his team have completed several projects at my home and at my daughter’s home. We have been very happy with every one. He is always on time, brings enough people to complete the work in great time, and honors his guarantees. His workers are very pleasant and skilled. They do everything we agreed to and more, and prices are very reasonable.

You know that feeling when you find good and honest people who do amazing work at a fair price? Well, that's how we feel! In the midst of a giant home/yard renovation. We were overwhelmed and didn't think that there was hope for our overgrown, forest of a yard. Then one of the top garden stores in town recommended Noam and his crew at Grow it Yourself to us. Oh my goodness!! Of all the people and contractors who have worked on our home, Noam was by far the most responsive to our inquiries. He's also honest and trustworthy. He gave us a quick and fair estimate and swooped in to help us. The work his crew did was BEAUTIFUL! We are so very grateful to have found this wonderful small business. We will ABSOLUTELY be calling on them to continue to improve our yard.

I've had them do many different projects over the years and they've always been professional, friendly, and knowledgable. Grow it Yourself recently completed projects in our front and back yard. The team is incredibly friendly, professional and hardworking. My husband and I both work from home and we wouldn't have even known an entire landscaping team was in our yard unless we looked out the window; the team was so quiet and thoughtful. We appreciated how knowledgeable the team was and how receptive the team was to our vision. The project was executed perfectly!

10/10. We will definitely be using Grow it Yourself again.

For reference, we had small shrubs and perennial flowers planted in the front and back. We installed a crepe myrtle in the back yard. We also had landscaping stones installed in the front yard around the tree and flower bed. We used metal edging in the back. The project took 1.5 days (an extra half day because they were rained out the first day). Pictures included.

Grow It Yourself has done a few projects in our yard: clearing and cleaning up overgrown areas, installing a dry bed, cleaning up after silt washed into our yard from the storms, and adding retaining walls.

I appreciated that the team was so communicative; they told me what they were going to do and when and followed through. We are so happy with the results! We've already had a few neighbors stop us to tell us how good the front bed looks. (They're probably happy they don't have to look at our overgrown bed anymore ;) -- see before and afters.).
