I like Red Mill Landscaping & Nursery. They are very helpful. If they don't have the items you need at their place. They will always suggest another place that might have it.

I called this place to request a quote to have some drainage work done. The person took my information and stated someone would call me back. Its been 3 days and I still havent received a call back. I have been to this place on another occasion to buy some maple trees and had terrible service on trying to get someone to help me. I wont be back or call them for anything.

These people clearly don't want new business. I contacted Bill SparrowJr. in May for property re-grading (a not insubstantial job).He asked me to send him a text. A week later, having heard nothing, I texted again. A week later I texted him again and he said he was on vacation and would contact me when he returned. A week and a half later I texted him yet again and he suggested one date only, and I couldn't make it that day because I had surgery scheduled. I asked if he'd suggest another date. That was June 15. On June 26 I asked if he would recommend someone who could do the job. Nada. I understand that landscapers are busy this time of year, but he isn't even polite about brushing me off.

I really can’t imagine a worse customer service experience. The pompous attitude of the guy running the “sales” shed was completely unnerving. Don’t waste your time driving out there like I did...there’s a better nursery in town with better people to work with.

We have used this place for years. Chip is so kind and has helped us make our yard beautiful. I think the comments here are negatively focused on the landscaping side of things but the NURSERY (and Chip) are FANTASTIC!

I called this place to get a quote to have some work done and the person that answered the phone was the most unprofessional person that I have ever talked to. He was like well there's a fee associated wit us coming out there to look at that's the best I could tell you ma'am. I was like ok so what is the fee? Well if you want me to find out I will, that's just how we do things here. It wasn't as much as the fee for the estaminet it was the attitude of the treatment of the person that answered the phone that really turned me off. If they are that rude on the phone, then I could only imagine the service.

These guys are awesome!! Ashley is very helpful and John is so knowledgeable. They take the time to give tips and help with any questions. I will definitely be using them for any projects!

Just bought many fruit trees to put in an orchard. They had a good variety of each cultivar that I was looking for. Plus they have great soils and mulches.

Always a wonderful experience. We have bought several rose bushes, fruit bushes, trees, mulch, and compost. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I go back every spring.

The best customer service. We shop here for plants to put in our garden at home. The selection is incredible and the prices are the lowest in town. We switched from our previous gardening center in Durham to Redmill.

I stopped by one afternoon and gave my information for a large irrigation and mulch job at my new home. The gentleman said they would be in touch. But, just like many of the other reviewers here, I NEVER HEARD BACK. Probably a blessing in disguise.

What a beautiful outdoor landscaping facility! Only to be marred by the worst customer service ever. I will not support this company nor will I recommend this company to any others. The older man who was in the sales booth is inexorably arrogant and reeks of good ole boy big-headiness. Told me one thing when we were face-to-face in the morning, only to flip-flop in the afternoon and tell me something totally different and was blatantly aloof and cut me off several times in mid sentence. Again, I will not support this company nor will I recommend this company to any others, and if I could, I would give 0 stars.

I use them every Spring to mulch and trim bushes. They do a fabulous job. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that it's hard to get hold of the guy who schedules work. I've used them for 12 years or so.

Just came from red mill to pick out some plants for our flower beds. Chip is awesome. He was very knowledgeable and kind. They had a wide variety of plants and were able to tell us what would and won't work I our plans (sun, shade, deer, water, etc.). I doubt r we will go to another garden center. Thanks redmill!

I frequent a lot of nurseries and greenhouses in the area, and I have loved Red Mill for years. I am not entirely sure why they have anything less than a 5-star rating, because everyone I have interacted with there has been pleasant and more than helpful.

They are quick to answer the phone, they have great pricing on Japanese Maples, and depending on what you are looking for, have a huge selection. Five stars all day.
