We tried Scotts and TruGreen in the past, and our grass never survived the hot summers here. Pleasant Green went above and beyond the aeration and overseeding normal routine and addressed our poor soil conditions to provide the success we had. Their customer service is amazing, too, and I really appreciate how responsive they are to emails and phone calls.

I began using the services of Pleasant Green Grass at the suggestion of my son, who was also using it. My concerns with the traditional lawn services were about the toxic ingredients applied on lawns. From the beginning, the staff answered all of my questions and explained in detail what was expected of me after their applications of products. They then followed up to be sure that I had no questions about the particular application. My lawn looks healthy now and I am assured that it doesn't have the toxic ingredients that we used to apply. I would highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Pleasant Green Grass for any landscaping projects!! They installed sod and did some hardscape projects in my yard. It has been over a year and the yard is gorgeous!!! Their maintenance program has kept everything in wonderful shape. Awesome workers and great customer service.

I decided to have Pleasant Green Grass handle all my mosquito problems this summer and what a great decision that was! They came by every couple of weeks with their organic mosquito spray to keep the biting pests away. If you're looking for a good mosquito control company, I recommend these guys.

This past year was my first with Pleasant Green Grass. They always email in advance with the exact day that the service will be done and include instructions to help ensure the treatment will be successful. If the weather isn't accommodating, they let you know the rescheduled date. The office staff is prompt in responding to email inquiries. They were able to keep the lawn relatively weed-free without any harsh chemicals.

I highly recommend Pleasant Green Grass for your lawn care needs. I am very picky, have high standards, and want to use natural, organic materials. Five years ago, I had employed Pleasant Green Grass to analyze my soil, fertilize, and aerate/reseed. After a while, I had the best looking lawn on the street. Unfortunately, I was laid off from work and had to let them go. I tried to keep up with the lawn needs, but within two years the lawn was weed-filled, spotty and sick-looking. I contacted Scott Walker from Pleasant Green Grass earlier this year to help restore my lawn and after testing the soil, aerating/reseeding and composting, the lawn now looks great! I went back to Pleasant Green Grass because they respond to my questions and concerns, arrive as scheduled, and use organic, natural material, which is important to me because I raise chickens. Pleasant Green Grass got the job done right.

This is the best combination ever of pleasant staff and cutting-edge knowledge of organic lawn products and procedures. We are awfully lucky here in the Triangle area to have Pleasant Green Grass. Our relationship with these people is long-standing. They've taken what looked to be a textbook example of Weeds of North Carolina and turned it into a lush backyard where kids can play barefoot and wildlife can safely raise their young. Best of all, their prices are reasonable and they are up-front about costs. A reliable, principled, and well-run organization.

I had their service for about a year. Before I hired them by back yard was in good shape, but the front yard didn't have much grass. It is a newer home (~ 2 years old) with bermuda grass. Over the course of the year my back yard went from nice grass to now 80% crabgrass. The front yard looks greener and and there is some more grass, but there are significantly more weeds. Keep in mind that I had no treatments done to the yard before they took over. Also, they did not do the soil test at first like they said they were going to, and they charged me for it. At the end of my year they realized the mistake, and did the soil test. They were treating my yard blind for a year. When I complained about all the weeds, and about how my back yard has no grass left I was told that I was "looking for a quick fix" and that maybe I would be better off with a "chemical company". If in one year they turned my grass into weeds, how many years do I need to keep paying them to get pleasant green grass? 5 years? 10 years? When I received a warning letter from my HOA because of all the weeds I decided to cancel my service with them.

Scott and his team have been great to work with since day one. They are always responsive and willing to take time to answer questions about the lawn. It is obvious to tell they genuinely care about you as a client and to ensure your overall satisfaction with the final product. Highly recommended, especially if seeking a lawn without the chemicals.

We've lived in our house for 9 years and I have hired other companies to reseed several times, and tried to do natural soil ammendments myselft. The results were pretty awful - we never got great luck with reseeding and weeds and bare patches were taking over my yard. We finally hired Pleasant Green Grass about 6 months ago - after their targeted ammendments, aeration and reseeidng, our yard looks amazing! Easily better than it's ever been and now it's one of the best yards on our street. As a conservation biologist with a big pollinator garden, I was hesitant to hire a lawn care company, but I love their natural appraoch and care for our habtiat!

I've been using Pleasant Green Grass for quite a few years now. They are the best! My new lawn (on 1 mm of topsoil on top of a foot of clay) looks so nice now. I have recommended them to several neighbors! The only down side is that our lawn grows faster and needs to be mowed more often, but it is BEAUTIFUL!

Everyone should be concerned about the large amount of fertilizer and pesticides washing into our streams from manicured yards. Pleasant Green Grass uses only organic methods for helping you keep your yard looking nice while protecting the environment. They communicate well with their customers and don't shortchange people in applications. The organic approach requires more diligence, more expense, and the results are not monochrome green, but I find my yard responds better to stress than most of my neighbors' yards.

I was impressed and pleased at every step this past fall as my requests for evaluation and service were responded to immediately, and the follow up work was done to high standards of thoroughness and attention to detail. There is a field staff and an office staff, and all cared and payed attention to my particular needs, adjusting service and timing according to the weather and my yard's condition at the time and answering my questions promptly. They even sent someone out to show me how to water properly and what equipment I needed. Although it's too soon to see the full results, I know I'm working with a company that cares and wants to get it right, and will go extra steps to make it happen. I'm also really glad to be working with a company that cares about the environment and actually knows how to do organic lawn treatments. My previous experience with another company was a flop, as they are really a grass cutting service and did not follow through with caring for my lawn's long term health and changing needs.

Scott and his crew a very responsive to all the needs that we have had. We have used them for two years or so and have been quite pleased to come home and have our entire yard look great. Anytime there's been an issue, they have been quick to rectify it or try to work with us to make it right.

I really couldn't ask for more, it is very difficult to find a good Landscaping Company. I haven't felt the need to change landscaping companies in two years, which is saying something in Durham!

They do what they say they're going to do they charge what they say they're going to charge and my yard looks great, what else could I want?

Pleasant Green Grass was informative, helpful, and encouraging, giving us more detailed information about our lawn than we had ever received before. This is our second year with them, and they have performed miracles: We have the greenest, fullest, lushest lawn we have ever had since buying our house in 1978. Lovely people to work with.

I am very appreciative of Pleasant green Grass -- the customer service, the products, and the results. Admittedly I am pretty hard to please when it comes to my yard, and the first couple of years I did not see much impact. So I kept sending Scott tough questions, i.e., "Is this really going to work?" He was patient with my questions, and kept encouraging me that things would begin to change after a couple of years of their service. Because Pleasant Green is environmentally friendly, I decided to stick with the program. And wow! I'm really glad I did! We're in the third year, and our grass looks better than it's ever looked in the 15 years we've lived here. Besides all that, we have critters in the lawn again (fireflies, grasshoppers, and little bugs), which is fun, and it means the birds are coming, too. I totally recommend Pleasant Green, and I particularly want to give a shout out to Scott: he's been super informative and helpful all along the way.

Pleasant Green Grass was great! I called them with multiple issues with our yard (aeration, fertilization, repair of drainage lines) and they were out to our house within a few days and fixed everything super fast and were very affordable. They even were able to fix our drainage system faster and cheaper than they had originally quoted! Definitely an amazing company with very helpful and pleasant people! I would highly recommend their services!
