I highly recommend Nazo Landscaping for your projects. The personal attention, particularly from Phillip, the owner, is refreshing and appreciated. The trees and shrubbery I purchased are very healthy and a great value. The guys did a great job installing everything. You can't go wrong doing business with this local, family operated business.

My wife and I have been working with Nazo Landscaping for five years to develop the landscaping on our property after the construction of our house was completed. I have done almost all of the work myself (pickup truck, wheelbarrow and shovel) and found working with Phillip and his family to be an enjoyable and educational experience. Everything from soils and mulch to fruit trees and rose bushes (and everything in between) has grown and flourished.

I would recommend Nazo Landscaping for any project big or small.
Stop in and see them and be sure to check out the Showroom greenhouse and surrounding plants. An awesome selection.

Plenty of choices here. They answer the phone when you call i really like this place parking is good. I got some black much and loved it the Dyed black mulch actually told me about hollow works and when I will have to come back and get more about a year and a 1/2 I was told. Just make sure you have some other pipe of payment than American Express they would prefer not to take American Express but they will allow you to pay with an American Express card but there will charge me 2% additional.

I hate giving a negative review, as you can see by my star and number of reviews I have done quite a lot of reviews. I am an avid gardener with 20 acres of specimen, plants, shrubs and trees. I’ve been to every nursery in Alamance, Orange and Durham Counties. This is the worst!! I have always avoided this place, I heard it was difficult, now I know why.
There was zero customer service. Philip, the owner didn’t have time to talk to me. There was no other customer there on a rainy Wednesday morning in April. One other customer did come in while I was waiting for my plants to be brought to me in the drizzle rain. It didn’t look like Phil was that busy that he couldn’t spend some time with me, but I guess I wasn’t a big Ticket item to him. This was a long ride for me and I had to use the bathroom. There was no customer bathroom, so I had to leave and go to the Food Lion about 10 minutes away and then come back. I asked him if he could have the plants out for me when I came back, he said no he would get the plants when I came back. I found out that you couldn’t walk around and look at the plants. They have to be brought to you! Why?? There was a green house he showed me- with no prices. You have to know what you want, you have to wait till somebody brought them to you. It was drizzling on and off, but I waited outside, I know he must be low staffed, but really he could’ve spent a few minutes talking to me - I just felt like he wanted to get rid of me. But I was the only customer there! He asked me what I wanted and that’s all, end of discussion! Didn’t want to discuss anything other than what I may be interested in. When I was astonished that the shrub I wanted was $100!! He did not offer any other alternatives or solutions! He didn’t want to make any suggestions or discus my project. He just wanted me gone and to be left to some other business, I guess. He did take me on a gator ride at about 50 miles an hour zooming through part of the nursery. When Eddy did bring me two of the shrubs, one of them was terrible. It was half bear of leaves. I told him to bring it back. I didn’t want that one and to find me one with leaves. I don’t know if he understood what I meant because his English was limited. I bought 2 shrubs at $100 each and 3 grasses at $20 each. Total $260 . Phil wanted a debit card, but I always pay credit. I had to pay an extra 2% to use my credit card. No biggy. After I paid, Phil said there will be someone to help load your car and turned away. There was no one to help me load the 2 large shrubs into my car. I tried to load the car myself, but I couldn’t. It was raining now and the shrubs were in 10 gallon containers. So I had to go back in the office and asked his wife to get somebody to help me - I became full of mud and dirt- I wanted to stop at Food Lion on the way home, but I couldn’t I was too dirty!! No bathroom to wash up in!!!
Oh, and be aware there are no returns or exchanges. All sales are final!! Why?
I won’t go back. I felt very dismissed the entire time I was there. The helper Eddy was nice - he was trying, so I gave 2 stars.

"I make you happy!" Those were the words said to me by Philip Nazo of Nazo's Landscaping, and it certainly proved to be true. The Dogwood, the Bloodgood Japanese Maple, the Burning Bushes, the mulching, and the sod installation were all done with competence, professionalism, and know-how. I have had my yard [soil] amended and seeded before, but it proved to be a waste of money. Now, years later, I decided to invest in my lawn again and I do not regret my decision. Although I did it for my own gratification (and as a birthday present to myself 😊), neighbors have already begun to comment favorably on its appearance. I will definitely use Nazo’s Landscaping again. In fact, I have use them since to purchase a few deer resistant shrubs and a beautiful, bright yellow, Full Moon Japanese Maple.

I had been looking for someone to create an area where I could place my fire pit. Several people came to the house but none gave me the feeling that they really knew what they were doing or could even provide ideas. Then I met Mr. Nazo! He helped us think of ideas for a patio close to my deck. I went to look at materials and found tons of options to choose from. When he came to the house he helped me find the perfect placement for the patio, shifting it so it would flow better with the yard and feel like it was supposed to be there. He also helped us find the best material for our project, saving us money in the process. I thought we would have to wait weeks or even months for the project to get started. He started it a few days later and finished within a week! His crew was professional and nice. They did a beautiful job leveling out our yard for the perfect patio! We loved it so much that before it was done we went back and got plants added to project. Mr Nazo took us around his expansive nursery to look for plants. There were SO many to choose from!!! He was so patient with us since we weren't sure exactly what we wanted or what would thrive in the area we were looking at. He knew off the top of his head everything about every plant in the place!!! We settled on 4 plants and they were delivered within a few days. Everything looks beautiful!! I would highly recommend Nazo Landscaping!!

Had a fabulous experience with Philip and the whole team at Nazo landscaping. Philip offered a VERY reasonable deal for an initial design (spending a considerable amount of his time consulting with me on our vision), then several Saturday mornings driving around his impressive property pointing out options that would work for our space. The end result is stunning and better than I could have ever envisioned. We will always go back to Nazo Landscaping for any of our outdoor needs!!

Although I have yet to see how our trees will blossom and grow, Phillip and his team were nothing short of amazing. Phillip's all-encompassing knowledge of our area and his dedication to his crafts impressed me, and a tour of his vast, varied nursery sealed the deal.

After graciously hosting us at his landscaping facility, Phillip came to our home to consult (for a modest fee). He and my husband spent over an hour discussing the pros and cons of various tree species, touching on everything from soil condition to average growth per year to potential future impacts on our solar panels.

In addition to adding a gorgeous row of maple trees, Phillip landscaped our firepit area. We look forward to hosting many gatherings under the leafy boughs of our Nazo trees!

Philip did a great job with our backyard. We have a very steep sloping backyard and were struggling with what to do with it. Philip came out and talked with us for over an hour about options, and came up with a beautiful design for a patio, fire pit, seating wall, and selected privacy, shade, and fruit trees that was within our price range. All the work was completed on time and on budget. We are very pleased and would highly recommend this business for landscaping needs.

I am astounded each and every time I go to Nazo nursery to purchase plants for my customers. The quality of the plants is unsurpassable and the care and attention that all of staff pay to their flora, employees, and their customers is heartwarming, especially while our worldis in hospital chaos almost everywhere. Nazo Landscapes is a family owned business. Philip, Eman, and Yousif
work harmoniously together to provide the best landscape materials and plants available in the RTP area. They are also one of the very few nurseries in town who grow the plants that they sell to the public. This means they are propagated and grown with TLC support local. Support family owned businesses. 🌿

I can only attest to his fruit trees, but, I met Mr Nazo while he had a vendor booth at the Green and Growing show in Greensboro. He was very friendly and he gave me a sample tangelo from his Minneola Semi-Dwarf Tangelo Tree that he had on display, as the tangelos are in season in February. I can tell you, he knows how to grow his tangelo trees. When i got home, that was the best tasting citrus fruit i have ever in my life eaten. I spoke with him later on the phone...Mr Nazo is such a great person and very helpful. BUT, just FYI....he only sells the trees, he does not sell the fruit, unless the fruit just happens to be in season, and is on the tree when you purchase it. As of Feb 3, he still has 3 trees available for sale, that have fruit on them.
