Olivia and her team left our house spotless and were very nice!

Olivia and her team have been cleaning our home for the last five years and have always done an exceptional job. We have two fur babies that stay in our home while they clean and they too enjoy their visits with Olivia’s team. Their attention to detail and care in our home goes above and beyond other cleaning companies.

I value, punctuality, thoroughness (attention to detail), and humanity. Olivia and her crew arrived on time greeted me cordially, and settled in until the work was complete. Olivia is a gem. She listens attentively and she acts. I recommend her and her cleaning crew without reservation.

Over the years, I have used many home cleaning services. Never before have I grown to trust and appreciate someone cleaning my home as much as I have with Olivia.

My Cleaning Lady is a Durham owned business. But more importantly, Olivia is a member of the community who embodies the spirit of Southern warmth and hospitality.

She and her team treat my home as if they live there. Every week, there seems to be a special touch, seemingly finding something that needs attention when I have forgotten to mention it.

Sometimes, Google reviews can be inflated. But in this case, 5 stars seems to low. As much as I would love to keep it a secret, I would recommend My Cleaning Lady to anyone who is looking for a responsible and trustworthy home cleaning service.

I have known Olivia for a few years and I cannot say enough positive things about her and her team. She is such a breath of fresh air. She is flexible and always on time. After a brief check-in to be sure there’s nothing special to be done, they get right to work and my house smells so clean without any chemical odors. I have had her do a deep cleaning a few times (particularly during the Holidays) and I felt like I was in a new house each time. She literally gets on her hands and knees to do the wood floors and baseboards. You can’t find a more conscientious team.

Ms. Olivia walks amongst angels. She stated, "Cleaning is her Ministry"... I had no idea that I would profusely weep into a woman's loving arms after she came to clean my apartment. Olivia just cleaned my house for the first time, having come highly recommended to me by one of my neighbors, a client of over 10 years. Meeting and working with Olivia was smooth and positive from start to finish. Olivia responded to my initial text within minutes on a Sunday and fit me into her schedule on 48-hour notice (even altering her plans for a day off and for picking her child up from school).

During our walk-through, Olivia noticed all kinds of things that I’ve grown accustomed to living with like cobwebs, light fixtures that needed cleaning, etc. From decades of running her own business and her desire for an excellent reputation, she has an eagle eye for what needs to be done. She offered (and almost insisted on) washing all the doors and baseboards (which I haven’t done in 10 years!) Olivia goes above and beyond the typical rush-through cleanings that other companies provide. She uses eco-friendly cleaning supplies that she makes herself, leaving the house fresh but not overly fragrant.

Olivia is extremely detail-oriented, even wiping down the glass on my *many* framed pieces of artwork. The fronts of my refrigerator, dishwasher and fireplace haven’t looked so good in years. I generally clean my own home but needed help as I am starting cancer treatments this week. I can now embark on this challenging adventure knowing that my home is spotless and well cared for. The service was more than expected and the house sparkled afterwards. She was sensitive to my breathing issues with harsh chemicals and used products that did not overwhelm me. Thank you so much and I have her come again anytime!

Olivia is a miracle worker! She was so patient and kind throughout some scheduling challenges on my end. When we were finally able to get our first service scheduled, she greeted us with a hug and a beautiful gift because I had told her about a family member passing. She and her team took on an involved deep cleaning of my home, and did the extra work with much grace, understanding and thoroughness. I can't recommend them enough! You will definitely not get this kind of service anywhere else. As a full-time care provider with not enough time in the day to do the kind of cleaning I would like to do, they are a very welcome addition to my "village."
