I purchased a generac generator from Lowe's in Pittsboro, NC. Big 3 was the sub=contractor for Lowe's. They did installed it after a month. I been trying to get them come out and test fire it. Can't get anyone the phone. Don't use Lowe's to purchase generator.

This company was the contractor employed by Lowes to install the home generator we bought from Lowes. They failed multiple city/county electrical inspections (at least 4 so far) and as of this review, they have still not corrected their mistakes so that we can proceed with final installation. I would strongly advise not using this company for any electrical work you may have. But, according to Lowes "customer service", they are the only contractor they have in the area to do this kind of work, so you might want to also consider buying your generator from another vendor as well.

Update: After contacting GENERAC & Lowes (purchase from them, Big 3 was installer) I got nearly immediate resolution. Big 3 after over a year claims it was a paperwork issue but they fixed it. The response came from Matt. ( the owner) as I had his cell phone number. Office did not return my phone call. Lowes did speak to Judy at office but all GENERAC & I got was an answering machine.

Issue: I purchased (so I thought) an extended warranty on the GENERAC generator they installed through them. A year later, GENERAC contacted me to offer me the warranty. GENERAC has no record of the warranty I paid for.

I purchased a GENERAC generator through Lowe’s. Lowe’s used Big 3 to install it & told me I could purchase an extended warranty through Big 3 which I did. A year later I get an offer to purchase an extended warranty from GENERAC. I called GENERAC & they have no record of me purchasing. I’m probably out $1,000+. So all of you that used Big 3…. Check w GENERAC directly on any warranty you thought you purchased. This isn’t over Matt.

Very pleased with Tony’s professionalism and expertise in servicing our Generac Standby generator.

We used Big 3 for the installation of a whole home generator. It required coordination of a number of steps - permits, inspection visits, equipment delivery, working with other utilities. Big 3's office manager coordinated everything as though it was an everyday occurrence. They were explicit about what I was responsible for and making sure that all of the steps in the process were in coordination. During installation they showed knowledge of zoning laws and coordinating with the inspectors. After installation, they walked us through all of the setting and what to expect from the generator. It was top notch.

Tony actually arrived earlier than expected, which was great. He texted when he was in his way. He completed the maintenance quickly and was friendly. Your company's employees could teach other companies how to be great at customer service.

Big3 Electric installed our full home generator. Liz scheduled everything and held true to her word. They were on time and did an excellent job. They continue to perform our annual maintenance service. We have also used Matt for other electrical needs, installation of light fixtures inside and out, light switches and electrical panel updates. Big3 Electric can manage all of your electrical needs with professional, courteous and prompt attention to detail. Our “Go To” company. Thank you Big3 Electric.

Professional, efficient, and straightforward! If you’re looking for an easy company to work with, you have found one! I will not, and would not go to anybody else. They made working with them and getting the job done so easy and understandable! I cannot stress enough how I would never go to any other company!!! Matt was so helpful and understanding when I had questions so that I could understand what was going on. I’ve never had someone explain in detail what’s going on so that I could understand as a customer! Matt was so straightforward, and great with customer service! I can’t stress this enough I wouldn’t recommend anyone or anywhere else!
