I contacted Snell Tree Experts as they were recommended by a neighbor even though she warned me they were expensive. For the work done the price was very fare for the work being done. Mr. Tim Snell came out personally to provide us with a free assessment. He asked specific questions to ensure he could provide an accurate estimate and that we were getting the services needed. He was up front about what would cause his crew more work and increase the price.

The crew was out today and I am very happy with the job. I had two river birch trees removed and the stumps ground down 6 inches. I was impressed with their efficiency and I could tell they took pride in their work. They cleaned up the debre and even cleaned off my driveway even though they only used a part of it. Well worth the price of having a professional take care of things.

Thanks to Tim,Heather, Ethan, and Steve for a job well done! Tim provided us with a very fair estimate for cutting down 5 pine trees, Heather kept us informed and scheduled the work, and Ethan and Steve did a great job cutting them down. Great business from start to finish.

Snell Tree Experts are truly experts!! If you are looking for someone who really has an educated knowledge of your trees and how to care for them, call Snell. They were extremely professional, made three of my large trees look beautiful!! I am so happy with their work. They cleaned up after they were done, and they even mulched under the trees when done with the job. I am incredibly pleased. I will use their services again in the future. I bought a home recently that had severly overgrown landscaping. In August and again today Snell came to my rescue. They have cut and chipped all the shrubs, ground stumps including putting up a barrier so my neighbors car wouldn’t be damaged, trimmed tree branches off my roof, pruned a 100+ yo oak tree and left my yard looking amazing. I would recommend Tim and his entire crew.

All of the staff is professional, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The customer service they provide is outstanding. Tim Snell, the owner, calls after the crew leaves to make sure the work was done well, and he sends a handwritten thank you note! Heather, the office manager, is always helpful and responsive. Every single member of the crews that do the work are the best in the business. The head crew member walks the property with us before the work begins to make sure the crew has complete and correct knowledge of the work that is to be done. After the job is completed, the head crew member walks around the property with us to make sure we are happy with the work / results. We want to give a special "shout out" to the crew who did our work this year (2024) - Ethan, Patrick, Kris and Steve. We will never use another company for this type of work as long as we own a home in the area that Snell Tree covers.

Snell did the job quick, professionally and more importantly safely. Will definitely be using them forward.

Snell Tree Experts recently removed a large Leyland cypress at my home. A large branch from the tree had fallen in my yard and Bo was there quickly after I contacted him to give an estimate. He sent his crew to remove the branch the same day I accepted the estimate. He did not pressure me to have the rest of the tree removed but gave an honest assessment of the future health of the tree and I decided to have the entire tree removed. The crew did a good job of removing all the debris and taking care of my yard during the removal process. The price for removal of the tree was very fair. Snell Tree Experts has also provided tree services at my home and a prior home for the past 15 years. I have always found Bo to be very knowledgeable and professional. He had recommended a beautiful maple to replace a dying tree approximately 5 years ago and the replacement tree (installed by Bo and his crew) is thriving and beautiful. Snell Tree Experts is always the first company I will contact when I need help with a tree!

Thank you all for the excellent, professional work! This was the first time I've ever hired a tree care company, having done my own tree work for many years. But the massive tree that was leaning over my shop was something I couldn't safely take care of on my own. Tim and his crew did a fantastic job removing that tree and a couple of others, plus some pruning work. They followed all of my requests to the letter, including chipping the small branches but leaving the logs for me to chop and split myself. If the need arises, they'll be my first call for tree work in the future.

Snell Tree Experts did an excellent job on our tree pruning project. They visited our site, listened to what we were wanting, made suggestions and within a day had a written proposal for us to review. When they did the work they did exactly what was proposed and made sure that we reviewed the completed work with them before they left. I highly recommend them.

We are very glad that we’ve hired Snell Tree Experts! We have used them numerous time to remove and prune our trees. Their proposals are detailed and their pricing is very reasonable. The team is very professional and knowledgeable, arriving on time, reviewing the plan for the day, and keeping the homeowner updated as the day progresses. The team is very careful to avoid damaging any exiting vegetation while working on the trees - which in our yard can be a challenge. Once the work is complete, the team does a great job of clean-up - removing and chipping all branches/trees that have been taken down during the project and then blowing the site. We’ve used other companies; but, in our experience, Snell if clearly the best in our area.

Just has tree removal and trimming done at my property. I have used Tim and his expert team several times in the 20+ years I have lived at my property. He is certified in his craft, with full insurance (complete coverage for his interests and yours). No smoke and mirrors. He and his crew showed up on time, explained what he was going to do based on the estimate, and got the work done. Tree removal, trimming, haul away, and cleanup. Couldn't ask for a better service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would strongly recommend. You may get cheaper service, but not with the piece of mind to know your work is being done correctly!

Snell Tree Experts came to my rescue when a large old pine began to buckle and had to come down. They quickly assessed, provided a quote, and completed the job ensuring safety for all. They answered all of my questions, both over the phone and when onsite, and every single interaction was friendly, helpful, and professional. They worked with me to help meet my goals to reuse the pine for a natural area, including cutting the trunk into sections and chipping the limbs for ground cover. They consistently provide support and education to help me attain my goals for my home. Snell Tree Experts continue to exceed my expectations in every category – customer service, quality of work, and more. I’m excited and proud to recommend them!

On-site quotes are efficient and detailed, while also taking into account the personal significance of my trees. The crew always arrives on time and works expertly until the job is done. We had Snell Tree Experts come to our home to remove a 60 foot tree this week. From the first call to the end of the process I received nothing but professional service. The receptionist that took my call was kind, listened to my concerns and helped me schedule an appointment that worked for us. I cannot say enough about the crew that took down the tree. They were courteous, took exceptional care to protect my property while removing such a large tree. The crew made sure that my property was left spotless. The Snell Tree experts showed up when promised and removed over 10 large pines from our pond dike. They did a difficult job in a safe and efficient manner and left the site as good or better than when they started. The entire crew were all excellent at doing a dangerous and challenging job of felling and removing very large pines. We highly recommend them for tree removal job's.
