The entire experience was smooth, worry-free, friendly, and professional. From the sales, insurance support, preparations, installation, supervision, to clean-up... every person was attentive, prompt, and an expert in their area of work. The quality of each person we worked with throughout the roof replacement process was very highly qualified, and highly skilled. From the day before installation Pauleta Price took charge of the installation and kept us abreast before, during, and after of the progress of the installation and the paperwork. The roofing crew was exceptional. They worked relentlessly all day (singing) and being careful of our treasured yard and plants. After an exhausting day, they made sure that everything was left impeccably clean and restored to how our yard was before they arrived. The color and quality of the tiles surpasses our expectations. We are thrilled with the look of our new roof!!! We highly recommend the entire Remodeling Team!

The Remodeling Company did an excellent job. Due to hail damage they replaced our entire roof. Peter Ratcliffe was excellent to work with throughout everything. He was always available when we needed to ask him something. Before the actual install, Peter came by the house and thoroughly explained the entire process to us. They were very professional and excellent project managers. They performed their job on time when scheduled and had great follow-ups throughout the installation. Fernando, their project manager was excellent - sent us pictures as work progressed and kept us updated at all times. The team that came out to do the install arrived a little earlier that expected to get started on the tear off and they completed and cleaned up really well after the install, I was super impressed with the professionalism the team had. I'd recommend them very highly. They were great to work with, TRC goes above and beyond to help their customers out and I love it. We need more companies like them, we really do. Thank you so much for a job well done!

It was great to do business with them! They really know what your insurance would or would not cover and they make it happen! They keep you updated more than your own insurance and ready to contact your insurance for you so you don't have to worry about it! Everyone I spoke to was pleasant and helpful! You get texts and pictures during the repair to keep you in the loop. They cleaned up so well, I didn’t even believe there was a construction work at my house! Highly recommend!

I requested a roof inspection for possible wind damage. James Patterson came out and did a drone inspection of my roof. Long story short, he helped with contacting my insurance company and they confirmed my roof had wind damage. My wife and I love our new roof.
The crew that installed our new roof were very professional. They arrived at the time specified and promptly went to work. Fernando was the site supervisor and kept me informed during each phase of the installation. Him and all the crew at The Remodeling Company are good people.
I had them redo my chimney flashing and those guys did it exactly the way I wanted it. It looks so good. Love the work they do. They even replaced the shingles on my little cover that accesses my crawl space so it would match the roof. Awesome. When the job was done, they cleaned up so well there was no sign they had been here, except that beautiful new roof they left. The Remodeling Company is with you during every phase of the work. They are very professional and my wife and I really appreciate the beautiful work they did on our house. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

Update: changed the review from 1 to 4.5 stars (rounding it up to 5 stars :)). Once I posted my initial experience, the owner Bob was immediately able to reach out and address the issue in person. My experience of the project post my interaction with Bob was great. Although delayed per original plan, Bob was able to get me on the schedule and the technicians/installers were very good. I now have a good quality screened in porch, as promised in the initial meeting with the sales representative. I appreciate the service provided!

Previous review: I worked with Eric from the Sales team to help with my Screen In Patio project. Apart from the sales part, everything else has been a painful journey so far. The surveyor was not here on the day it was scheduled for. I had to chase them to get an appointment on the books. There were follow-ups in the process, but only for the down payment (which was paid in time), but not for the project. Today was supposed to be the start of the project (four weeks after signing contract, promised by them) and I am being told 'this was missed to be added to the schedule'. I have been the one following up again and again, and still do not have the project started. I hope I get a better experience from here to reconsider my review. Not even close to the Disney experience I was promised!

The remodeling company was great and I highly recommend them. I was very comfortable when I met Sam and didn't want to look anywhere else for services for my home. Then I met Brian and Bob they was amazing as well. The day of the project the crew was on time and did amazing work and Pauleta was such a dear to talk to. I enjoyed the whole team.

This company was going door to door in Sanford, NC. I have worked in construction for over 30 years, and all contractors have more work to do than they can handle. I advise everyone to read the negative reviews before using this company. Nobody should ever trust a door to door construction company. Research, research, and research before making a decision on a construction investment. I oversee large jobs. And know the horror stories. You make the call when you need a repair, not the other way around! These two guys were as unprofessional as I have ever seen. Why would a company from Knightdale need to be in Sanford as much as that areabis growing? There's your sign, folks.

The Remodeling Company did an excellent job with replacing my roof from start to finish. They thoroughly explained the process of replacing my roof, explained their recommended product well, and they delivered on their promises. They were on time to every meeting, and on the day if install. They were able to complete the project in one day as promised, did an excellent job installing the roof, and they cleaned up very well. Communication with everyone in the company was great, and they kept me informed throughout the project. I would not hesitate using The Remodeling Company in the future.

Over the last few years there have been several roofing companies offer free inspection of my roof. I was concerned about being scammed. All those fears were removed after speaking with James with The Remodeling Company. After reviewing their products and procedures I took the leap. Everything went smoothly and all work was Professionally completed on time. Their communication level was great with emails, texts, and calls to keep me informed of start times, progress, and completion. I highly recommend The Remodeling Company. They do great work.

Helpful, responsive, communication was great, professional service, timely and neat - usually I consider myself lucky to say 1 or 2 of these when reviewing repair services - but I actually can say all 6 with my experience with the Remodelling Company. Kevin did a great job guiding and assisting with the claims process and paperwork, and Fernando and crew showed up on time and completed my roof replacement in just one day. I particularly appreciated the tarps put down for protection and continuous and thorough clean up. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We went with the remodeling company after a failed attempt at having roof damage covered by our insurance. James assured us that they could work with our insurance company to find a resolution and he was absolutely right. We enjoyed working with his team throughout the inspection, claim and roof replacement process. Every person that we interacted with at the Remodeling Co was pleasant to deal with, genuine, and professional. What a great group of folks. They always showed up early, had a positive attitude, and seemed extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the process. I would highly recommend The Remodeling Company from the very first meeting with James it has a great experience. He was very professional, he walked me through the process and everything he said would happen, happened. My insurance company played the stall tactic and James and company did not give up till they approved for the replacement roof. The crew arrived when they said they would and promptly started. I was not at home at time if the installation but was kept in touch with texts and pictures of the process which I absolutely loved. Fernando was quick to answer any questions I had and was also very professional. The crew left my house and yard in great condition. My experience has been awesome and would recommend them and will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects.

From start to finish I thought the communication with The Remodeling Company was outstanding! From our initial meeting when the inspection was completed to sharing their findings/pictures and helping us navigate the insurance claim process. I also found great value in the explanation of what makes their roofing "system" (we opted to use Atlas shingles although they will install virtually any product) different than their competitors. They do not skip steps or cut corners...I felt like they wanted to provide the best roofing solution they could for us. The warranty surpassed others I spoke with but when it comes down to it...it's usually about the people. Kevin was excellent with the initial consultation and recommendations and he continued to be in touch with us during the entire process. Our on-site crew leader, Fernando, was awesome! Both verbal communication and text updates during the entire job (installation day). Their internal team provided a "what to expect" email and my experience felt just like the email read. Everyone showed up on time, they verified that the delivered products were correct and they worked efficiently during the entire install. Clean up was excellent with lots of attention to detail (looking for nails etc...). Lastly, Fernando came by and did a final walk through with me to be sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. I'd hire these guys again without hesitation (but I likely won't need another roof for a very, very long time...thanks to them). If you are in the market for repairs or a full roof replacement you should take the time to meet with them...literally did everything they said with no surprises!

Arrived promptly, set to work immediately. Worked very efficiently as a team. 1 day and my deck is fabulous now.

Working with The Remodeling Co. has been a very successful endeavor. From the design consult to the actual project the Co has been responsive and professional. We are very pleased with the look of of refurbished deck.

The project: Deck Rebuild

First: The project manager Mel was great and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

Second: They sent a guy to do the work and he was great. He even pointed out and repaired the issues that the previous builder (not affiliated with TRC) failed to do which caused rotting on the bottom side of my house where the deck was originally connected. He even did a small redesign of the deck.

Third: It didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would as well as they were able to workout a discount.

It took a few days only because of the weather at the time. Even with that the guy showed up as soon as the rain stopped and worked until it got too dark outside.

Overall my new deck is beautiful and well built.

Would I hire them again? Absolutely!

The team at The Remodeling Company were fantastic to work with! Mike was the first person we met with regarding getting our roof replaced. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process and made getting our roof replace such an easy, worry-free experience. Another member of the team, Shawn, came out to meet with our adjuster and was a roof expert! We were grateful for his time answering any questions the adjuster had. Lastly, Fernando, the project manager, and his team were incredible. They arrived at our house on time, got straight to work and communicated everything to us with pictures and a final walk through. Our roof looks amazing and we’re so happy we were able to work with this great group.

I'll start by saying so far I'm satisfied with the overall install work done by the team that came out. Crew supervisor (Charles, I believe was his name) was very good and wanted everything to be quality and was always checking things. The crew deserves 5 stars. My disappointments lie with the owner Bob and his administrative team's lack of follow up and communication. No issues calling to set up the work and get paid, but on the day of install the team was over 2 hrs late and I had to call and find out where they were and when they'd arrive. No biggie, it happens. One of the window frames did get damaged on install day and long story short 4+ months after the installation I still don't have an update or fixed window frame despite Bob coming out to inspect and measure the frame. He won't return texts or calls and the office team doesn't respond to emails. I'm big on service after the sale, as anyone can be accommodating when there's a check to be cashed. How you service the customer after a big investment as windows can be is where I tend to decide on a recommendation to anyone. Feeling like you're being ignored is not how you get my return business. And just a quick tip, make sure you ask what kind of screens you're actually getting when you're told "yes screens will be installed" as I got movable half screens that don't seal as part of the design when moved to the top section of the window. We had multiple yellow jackets make their way into the house before we figured out how the were getting in. When I inquired about full screens as a solution, they wanted $700.

The remodeling company has been a big headache to work with. We hired them to build a screened porch and the expectations and timeline they set were nowhere near the reality. There was a slight delay in permits because of a design change, which was fine but then it took over 4 months to complete the project that was predicted to take 6 weeks. Throughout the process we were essentially in charge of making sure they stuck to the plan and had to correct the project manager many times, it was as if no one was communicating on their team. The quality of porch is good but the details like painting, gaps in the screen, and ordering of materials according to the initial plan were pretty terrible. We’ve had to have them come back to fix things several times since finishing. I’m confused why no one did a final look and instead they waited for us to realize issues over time. Overall, the porch is nice but the process to get here made us wish we’d gone with a more communicative, detail oriented company.
