These guys are great, my Yard has never looked better. They always text day if service. Plus make sure the gate is closed so yhe dogs dont get out. Brendan came out today and was finished before I had to go to work. Cleaned up the side walk perfectly too! If I could give it 10 Stars I would!

Highly recommend Fine Turf. We have been customers for several years for lawn care. This was the first time we used them for mulch. Crew was great. Very professional. Worked quickly and made sure installation and clean up was to our satisfaction. We plan on using them again next year.

FineTurf has been treating our yard for a few years now and we definitely have one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood.

Ryan was such a great help getting my sprinkler system up and running for the summer. In the process of prepping, he noticed some surprising issues with how my system was winterized by a previous irrigation company that could have lead to future problems and costs. Will be using again, and would highly recommend Ryan for future needs!

Wow. Before and after pictures after having FineTurf for a year. Did a aeration and seeding this fall and our Fescue is basically a carpet. Staff who work there are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

What a mistake we made hiring & trusting this company.

Around February 2024, my fiancée and I hired Fine Turf after speaking with the owner, Lindsay, about a backyard project. The plan was to regrade the entire yard to prevent water from pooling near the garage during heavy rain, install about half an acre of sod and irrigation to cover the area. What we thought would be a simple project for $15k to create our dream backyard, turned into a year-and-a-half headache.

From the beginning, communication was difficult. My fiancée felt she wasn’t getting clear answers, and I often had to leave work to get explanations in person because she felt she was being misled or talked down to. In hindsight, we should have walked away early, but we stayed because his prices undercut the competition.

Halfway through the job, it became clear the “grading” we referenced several times (to prevent water pooling) wasn’t actual grading at all—it was little more than raking dirt. We had specifically requested a smooth yard and proper water deflection away from the garage. When I confronted Lindsay, he dismissed our concerns, insisting, “You won’t have standing water, and nothing will go into the garage once the sod is installed.” His attitude was condescending, as if questioning him was unacceptable. Again, we should have stopped then, but we didn’t.

The issues only compounded. After we removed a tree during the process—without affecting his workflow—he tried to charge us extra, claiming the original quote didn’t account for that area. His quotes were vague and lacking detail, which made it easy for him to tack on additional charges. Perhaps this is purposeful on their part for liability, I can only speculate.

Once irrigation, sod, and sprinklers were installed, the yard looked good at first glance. But problems appeared immediately: a sprinkler pipe burst, requiring turf removal and leaving a damaged patch that never grew back properly. The yard is still full of uneven holes, so bumpy it feels like an artillery range, and mowing it is punishing. Worst of all, the garage still floods whenever it rains—exactly the issue we hired him to solve. Several areas now have dead patches of grass where water continues to pool.

I do not want to speak too much on this as my memory is vague, but there were discussions about bringing in "fill dirt" for some areas to which Lindsay agreed it may be needed - but fill dirt was never brought to our property. Again, an emphasis on cutting corners. When I had a professional grading company review the work and explained the equipment FineTurf utilized, they confirmed what we suspected: this was not grading at all. Their words were, “It’s comical someone is calling this grading. Of course, you still have water issues.”

In the end, we were left disappointed by the poor workmanship, misleading assurances, vague quoting practices, and lack of accountability. If you’re considering a major project, avoid one-stop shops like this. As the saying goes, “A jack of all trades is a master of none.” Please do yourself a favor and hire true specialists for each part of the job—you’ll save yourself the frustration we endured.

** I see several bad reviews all relevant and posted within the previous year. Perhaps he had a bad spell of work over the past year and a half, or took on too much work to handle and rushed jobs. Nonetheless, please do your research and in the end, do not take the easy route to save a few thousand dollars.

He was extremely professional and did a great job! He even spoke to me about upgrades that we may need for our lawn.

Moreover, my almost 3 year old was outside and took the time and care to say hello.

We had a great experience today. I I got a text from Roy about 10 minutes before he got to the house. Which gave me time to put our animals up and make the necessary preparations. They did great work and I am extremely happy with the service.

Demarcus and team were wonderful and helpful during our irrigation inspection and service today. They were professional, relatable, and completed the job in a timely manner. Thank you!

The technician was prompt, giving us notice he was on his way. He explained his process, answered our questions and was thorough. Can’t wait to see the progress our yard makes!

Ryan did a great job. It was a leak in my .main waterline from. Well to mine house and a second leak in my irrigation line .. Ryan and his assistant were patient and very though with their work.they were professional.and never demonstrated frustration. They cleaned up and left the area neat Highly recommend this team

I can bore you with a long description with dates and names but the bottom line is they are too busy to service anyone well. No communication with the technicians, and the managers won’t call back to explain what was done or when they can come out again. I understand pipe cement has to dry overnight, but no allowance to come back and check the job. Eventually returned 2 weeks later with 2 hours notice. The repair works but system still has a problem, and I don't want to deal with them again. Scheduling is a mystery. But very pleasant people answering the phone apologizing. I didn’t feel the money I spent was worth it, and dealing with them was frustrating.

New customer, and wasn’t home for treatment, but I’m sure Brendan did a great job. Looking forward to seeing great results with FineTurf.

So far so good, but my lawn needs a lot of attention and I've barely started my service. Hopefully be updating to a 5 star soon, but it will likely be a year to determine how good the lawn care is.
