Stelco Electric came out to my house to assist with the installation of a dishwasher.
I contacted them late in the day and the electrician come to the house that day to complete the work. He was courteous, well mannered and the price was very reasonble (Under $100.00).

My washer wouldn't work. After 4 phone calls, including Duke Energy, I contacted Billy at Stelco. He sent A.J. immediately. A.J. fixed it in 10 seconds. And, he didn't mock me because I completely missed the invisible little buttons on the outlet that needed to be pushed back in after a power surge caused them to disrupt the power. Paid a not unreasonable service call charge, and chatted with a. Nice man for a few minutes.

I cannot say enough about Billy and the service he provided me. It was late and I was in a pickle. Power was not working and we had no heat. Temps were dipping down last night. Although the issue was something Duke Energy had to fix Billy came to me after hours, identified the issue and told me what I needed to do. I am a single mom with 3 children. I am forever grateful for his kindness and service. Honest. Friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Dec 2020: A few days before Christmas and late in the day I needed an electrician to determine the cause and repair a scorched dishwasher connection. I contacted several nearby businesses that either didn't return my call or wanted to charge an outrageous fee.
When I called Stelco Electric my message was relayed to the manager who phoned me back within minutes. Even tho they were booked solid, Billy was able to send Andrew within the hour. Andrew, who has extensive electronic knowledge from the military and beyond, readily diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. The best part was that they didn't take advantage of squeezing me in nor a late day call - the fee was very reasonable.
Without a doubt I will use them for any future electronic needs.
Aug 2022: I recently phoned Stelco Electric - twice in consecutive days - to replace an outdoor switch. Both times I left messages and not one was returned. So I used another company. Maybe the success Stelco experiences allows them to blow off customers.

Stelco is by far the best electrical company in NC by far. I've used many different electrical companies and Stelco went above and beyond expectations. Customer service was beyond anything I have ever seen and the work performed was even better. Will use them moving forward for any electrical work I need done.

Had an estimate planned, never showed up or contacted me. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and we agreed to meet on a different day. Never showed up or contacted me yet again.

Don’t use them for the Duke EV program. Plenty of other good companies (that have actually responded).

If you accidentally picked this company, you can message Duke and use another company with no issues.

Great work adding our EV charging station and helping us understand some of the electrical concerns at our home. Solid communications and heads up on day of coordination. Fair pricing. AJ was great and easy to work with.
