Brodie and the team replaced my roof a few days ago. I was selling my home, and I was under a tight timeline. The team fit me in the schedule, provided a detailed scope of work and executed right on time! Brodie communicated well and even went beyond the scope to explain in detail to my buyer the work. A detailed report was provided the next day along with a warranty! They have my full recommendation!

I cannot recommend Cadmus construction enough! I worked with Jarod who put me in touch with Bailey whom I worked with from start to finish. Both of them were very helpful; got back to me promptly with answers to all my questions; gave me very detailed instructions and information on their roofing replacement and repair services; and provided me with convenient payment options, receipts and warranties after work completion. In addition Bailey worked with our insurance company providing all needed quotes and before and after photos as needed. It is usually difficult for me to work with professionals in NC for our rental properties because we live in CA, but that was not the case with Cadmus. Honestly a pleasure to work with these friendly, professional, accommodating people.

Excellent work and customer service. I had a roof replaced as well as rotten wood addressed on a balcony and screened in porch. Then I had both my home and detached garage painted. I was extremely satisfied with the work completed and would recommend this company and management team for similar projects.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to Brodie O’Donnell, our Roofing and Restoration Project Manager. Brodie is an absolute powerhouse. He was incredibly diligent, always timely, and remarkably informed about every nuance of the process. His "curious" nature meant he left no stone unturned when investigating our roof’s condition. When it came to the insurance investigators, Brodie was our greatest advocate; his deep knowledge and ability to navigate the complexities of the claim were so helpful. He managed the roofing crew with precision, ensuring the replacement was flawless.

We were also blown away by the personal touch provided by Bailey Shey Morris, the Owner of Cadmus Construction. It is rare to see an owner so genuinely invested in their clients. Bailey was there for us every step of the way. Any home repair is stressful, and part of that stress is finding a reputable company that you can trust. From the start, Cadmus Construction exhibited trust. They explained what was damaged in my roof, how it was damaged, and how to file a homeowner's insurance claim for a roof replacement. My insurance initially denied the claim in full. Cadmus discussed with me that first-pass denials are common and not to give up. They explained in detail how they would appeal to the insurance company and what that process would be and asked for my patience while they do so. Over the course of several months, Cadmus, with the assistance of a company called Precision Public Adjusting, appealed to my insurance company. Their persistence and knowledge of insurance claims paid off as my insurance went from a full denial to approving a full claim for a roof replacement. After the claim was accepted, Cadmus walked us through roof options, scheduling, and expectations. A few weeks later, they arrived for the scheduled roof replacement day. I immediately noticed that they draped large nets from the roof so that debris and dust contact with the house was virtually nonexistent. I have never seen any other roofing company place their nets. They replaced the full roof and were done by late afternoon. The crew then cleaned the area, and a project manager did a walk-through of the site and checked the final installation of the roof. Cadmus left the area around my home spotless. There was not a single nail, shingle, or piece of debris anywhere. They also basically dusted the area, so the space around my home was actually cleaner than before they installed the roof. As for the roof install, the new roof looks fantastic from drone footage and pictures. Cadmus sent us the work, and it looks perfect. We also took our own drone footage, and the roof install is perfect. Cadmus is a locally owned small business, and they deserve your business. From the jump, they communicated throughout the entire process; every step was explained to us. They answered all of our questions and never left us in the dark. They were incredibly persistent with the insurance company, which resulted in a full roof replacement approval from the original denial. Their work and work result is a flawless new roof that looks great and was installed in one day. I have never been so impressed with a construction company and would recommend Cadmus to anybody; they are trustworthy, communicative, persistent, and do great work! Thank you, Cadmus Construction!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Cadmus! We had an outstanding experience with them from start to finish. They (Brodie, Bailey) truly went to bat for us with our insurance company, handling the process professionally and persistently, which resulted in our roof being fully covered. The installation itself was smooth, efficient, and very well done. The crew was respectful, detail-oriented, and left everything clean. We’re extremely grateful for their hard work and highly recommend them to anyone needing a roof and an advocate on their side.

Upon first contacting them the owner was a really nice guy who took time out of his day to explain to me the process of how he and his son do their stone masonry and the techniques and details they use, do down to their supplier and how they only use the best quality products for cement and sand. They were honest with me the whole time and even took time to help me if I wanted to tackle doing the stone veneer myself because their so booked with jobs. I highly recommend them and I know they would do good work! Thank you guys!

0 Stars - A Complete Waste of Time

If you’re considering Total Masonry for any work, do yourself a favor and DON’T. I hired them for a simple concrete job that should have taken two days, but after three months of constant rescheduling, it became clear they had no intention of doing the work. They rescheduled me more than 15 times! Some excuses, like heat waves, made sense, but most were just ridiculous—family issues, vacations, or being busy with other customers who I had booked before. It’s clear that they prioritize everyone and everything over their clients.

Dimitri, the owner, had no problem collecting the $1000 deposit the same day of our agreement, but took over 10 days to return it when I finally had enough. They basically wasted my entire summer stringing me along, offering one excuse after another, without ever starting the job.

If you want to deal with a company that treats its customers like an afterthought, go ahead and hire Total Masonry. Otherwise, avoid them at all costs and find someone who actually wants to work. This isn’t a business—it’s a joke.

Absolutely thrilled with the work done by Total Masonry! From start to finish, their attention to detail was impeccable. They took the time to understand my vision and executed it perfectly, ensuring every brick/stone was laid with precision.

The Total Masonry team is awesome! Dimitri and his son Chris worked on a back patio and fire pit for us and it turned out absolutely beautiful. Exactly what we were wanting!
