Terrific experience! Camden was so responsive and helpful at every step. The workers were so friendly and put up the fence very efficiently -- all within one day! It looks fabulous, very high quality. Appreciate them offering to come back if anything were to happen with the fence as well. Highly recommend.

My wife and I moved to NC from CT and had no connections for fence installers. After looking on the internet, and reading several positive reviews, we decided to go with Index Fence Inc. After having the work done yesterday, we could not be happier with our choice. From the initial phone call to receiving the final invoice, they were responsive, professional and knowledgeable. The installers showed up at the time we were told, walked us through their plan to ensure it was what we wanted and presented us options as the work progressed. They cleaned up the yard after the work was done and washed the whole fence. We could not have been more pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend them to anyone needing a fence for their property.

Alex, Camden, Behzad, and the rest of the Index Fence team were an absolute pleasure to work with! Alex was extremely helpful during our initial consultation and provided great knowledge and recommendations. The fencing materials/options offered by Index Fence were nearly an identical match to those already within our neighborhood, which was a critical component for approval from our HOA. Had a great experience working with Jason Feore and the rest of the team at Index Fence. Jason came out very shortly after my first call to Index, helped me understand the options, and then walked through the yard and came up with a good layout. The quotation was great and clear, and only change when we requested a different design (horizontal planks). The end product looks great, was expertly installed in a single day, and was a completely painless, high quality experience. Kudos to everyone involved from Jason to the back office to the installation crew!

Index Fence did a phenomenal job constructing a wooden fence in my backyard. I had several other quotes and no one came close to their price. I was worried that the reasonable price quote would mean a poor quality job. There was no reason to worry. These guys showed up ready to work and completed the job 268 linear feet in less than 2 days.

They were flexible when we decided at the last minute to extend the depth of the fence area by 12 feet. He gave me an updated price and ordered the extra materials that day. My experience with Index Fence INC could not have been better. They responded immediately to my online estimate request and set up a time to come see our property. After one visit we agreed upon a design, quickly received a quote, and they got rolling on the permitting process. Once the permitting was properly done, a time was scheduled for the install. During the down time, they actually had a crew become free and installed ours a week early, unheard of right now! The installation crew was extremely professional and efficient. All told, we got the exact fence we wanted in less than a month. If you are looking for a fence, you need to go with Index! Thank you!

They did a beautiful job with our fence and were very professional from the start. We had special requests and they were able to accommodate us without a hassle. The pricing was comparable to Lowe's but we decided on Index due to the many great reviews, and I am glad we did. They did an excellent job with the cleanup and the owner was very nice in making sure to accommodate us. We will definitely refer them for other work!

Index Fence did a great job on my new vinyl fence. Cameron, the project consultant, was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and very responsive to any questions and calls throughout the process. One of the managers gave me a final call once the project was complete to ensure I was satisfied with the fence. That means a lot because a lot of contractors just want your money and don't really care if you're completely happy with the finished product. The owner was also on site to discuss the details of the fence with me, which again shows they care about their customers being satisfied. The fence was very high quality vinyl. I would definitely recommend Index for fence installation.

I had an exceptional experience with Index Fence. We were in the market to build a new fence around our property and called multiple companies around my area. Jason from Index Fence was the first one to visit our property for a in person appointment for an estimate. Other companies were scheduling 2-3 weeks out but Index Fence scheduled for our installation right away. Jason was so helpful with the planning process. He was very patient and informative. He answered all of my many questions quickly and professionally. Our fence was completed in 1 day and it turned out amazing. I would definitely recommend Index Fence if you're looking to build a fence for your property. I would strongly call Index Fence and ask for Jason. He provides outstanding customer service.

I would highly recommend this company. Not only did they come out, very knowledgeable about the service, material, different styles, but they were so pleasant and nice. We were thinking of another company that was cheaper but their reviews were terrible. I was not able to find one bad review about Index Fence. They had nothing but positive and happy reviews. The price was not much of a difference, but the piece of mind and great reviews did it for me.

We were not supposed to have our fence until last week of November/first week of December but an opening came and we got our fence done within 2weeks! The works who installed were prompt and efficient Walked around before they started just to make sure we all were on the same page and Reza, was so helpful, from start to finish.

I had one side of the yard that needed to be fenced with a walk-through gate, and wanted chain link because the rest of the yard is chain link. In reading reviews of fence companies I saw the same complaints - arrogant consultants (I experienced this with the first fence company I contacted), lack of communication, extended lead times. I noticed that Index Fence had all positive reviews, so I gave them a shot. I'm glad I did and you should look no further than Index Fence. I left my contact info on their website late on a Friday and they called me Monday morning. A consultant came out to measure THE NEXT DAY and understood exactly what I wanted. Within four days I had an estimate from Mr. Phelps, which was very reasonable and cheaper than the first fence company's. I was told that a 50% deposit was required at the time of signing off on the estimate, and to expect 3-4 weeks until install. I was also told that they carry a two year workmanship guarantee! When I paid the deposit I was contacted and told that they had all the materials needed for my job, and they could do the install the following week. I know that this is unusual, but from the date of deposit to install was ONE WEEK. I was thrilled. Juan and his crew arrived early and did a fantastic job. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Index Fence and recommend them without hesitation! Thank you Index Fence, you proved to me that customer service and quality work are top priorities for you!

My experience with Index Fence has been great. My sales rep, Jason, was also available whenever I need to ask a question and always provided a solution. After the installation one of my gates wasn't shutting on it's on like it was supposed to for the pool inspection and Jason took it upon himself to come out and try to fix it. While he gave it his best effort additional work needed to be done and he had his team come out the next day to correct. He told me at the beginning of the sale that their work wasn't done until I was completely satisfied. A lot of companies say that, but Jason and team really held up to those standards. I would recommend anyone needing a fence that wants a high quality product with great service before and after the installation to look no further.

DO NOT USE. Index Fence did a job for my neighbor, they did not get any type of survey or verification up front and removed 100' of my fence on my property. The replaced it with a different fence (neighbor's choice) that no longer matches the rest of my fence. I have reached out several times and have been promised a call back from the owner who is always "out of the office but will be back shortly" only to go weeks with no return call. They also left dirt pile in my yard from when they dug the holes for the new posts. Mistakes happen, but a reputable company would accept accountability and offer to help fix the situation rather than ignore it. Very unprofessional.

I recently worked with Index Fence on a small repair job, and wanted to update this review accordingly.

While the quality of work was ultimately acceptable, the communications and execution of the repair were not satisfactory.

The initial invoice wasn't appropriately scoped based on the conversation I had with the Project Consultant who performed the on-site assessment; it included fees for demolition and disposal services (neither were expected nor discussed), was excessive in scope (written for a 24' section of fencing, when only an 18' section was actually damaged in any way) and did not include any information on a request to re-use any of the undamaged materials initially used in construction of the fence in its original form.

I was also surprised that I was asked to pay for the job in full before any work was completed. I am used to paying some proportion of the invoice prior to beginning work, but found it unusual that payment in full was required before we could even proceed with scheduling. The Office Manager did eventually clarify that "for small repairs and modification work... we do require full payment up front".

So, overall, still a decent firm for fence modifications/construction, but the pattern of inadequate communication and unusual business practices leave something to be desired.

Would recommend to anyone!

I used Index Fence back during 2020 to install a fence in my backyard mainly to contain my 2 dogs. I was very pleased with the job they did those years ago-- particularly during the middle of the COVID pandemic-- to work with me on arriving at a design that I liked and a price that fit my budget. More recently, after Tropical Storm Debby, I had a very large pecan tree fall onto the fence (and the neighbor's fence as well!) and needed the fence repaired. Following the tree removal, Camden and his crew were great to come by and fix the fence for me-- it looks good as new and didn't take long at all. I am particularly impressed by the attention to detail that they pay to make sure everything is right and that the client is happy. Two thumbs up!
