We had an great experience with Index Fence. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout multiple rounds of review and questions from our HOA for us to get final approval. They handled the paperwork needed to get the permit from the City of Raleigh. Installation of the fence took only one day from start to finish. We would highly recommend Index Fence. Our Golden is also very happy with his backyard :)

Miguel, Stephen, James, Manny and the fence installers at Index Fence Inc installed a 6’ black chain link fence around our back yard and core drilled in concrete an aluminum fence around swimming pool. These guys are reasonably priced, professional and very friendly. They showed up to work every morning and worked all day. They went above and beyond cleaning up after the project was complete. They do superior work and I highly recommend them.

Moving, and all the things that come with setting up a new home, can be TOUGH! Having Index Fence install a fence at my new home was the EASIEST! Everyone involved in this process was a pleasure to work with, from the owner to the crew that completed the build. They showed up on time, and completed the work more quickly than I thought possible. Not only was their work quick (and the worksite kept tidy) but the fence they built is a stunner. Everything is done WELL. I requested one small adjustment to a gate and they were also responsive to that request as well. Quick, professional, beautiful work AND excellent service AFTER the build??!!!! This company is a rare gem, one of the best service providers I've ever had, from any home build/repair company, EVER. We assessed several local fence builders before deciding to move forward with Index Fence Inc. After working with Camden and his team on what we wanted for our property. They provied a detailed map and description of the project including the materials needed and an estimate on timing. We needed to have everything done before the holidays, as our kids were bringing their dogs to visit us. The Index Fence team were able to readjust their schedule and provide us with a quality instalation in time for the holidays. They were a pleasure to work with.

Index Fence did an amazing job! From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. The team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and paid attention to every detail. My new fence looks incredible — strong, clean, and exactly what I wanted. They were upfront about pricing, answered all my questions, and made sure I was happy before finishing. My experience with index fence is overall ambivalent but leans negative. Index was on par with two other quotes we received, as such price was not a consideration. That said, I wonder if materials from the other contractors would have been better.

From initial consult to communications with the office, I give 4-5 stars. It’s always prompt and professional, my poor rating is quality of the actual build and materials.

On initial quote we were told the planks come prefinished from the factory and wouldn’t need treatment for 1-2 years, but within 6 months we had significant warping and cracking on a large portion of boards and several posts leaning. We were told it was because we didn’t treat with any stain or sealant.

Index came out and replaced everything that was warped and leaning, however it took 4 months and 3 visits from initial inquiry to final repair, delaying when we could then stain and seal everything. There are already several *newly replaced* boards warping and cracking so I have significant doubts that this fence will last even 5 years.

As for the build, the gates are always sagging (I’ve never seen an ‘A’ brace on a gate before and am not confident it offers the counter balance a cross brace does). There are random 2x4s attached to some posts, the gate construction doesn’t look professional with random fill and trim pieces, some boards are spaced inconsistently and do not maintain a straight line. Maybe it was just not the right material for a horizontal fence.

Overall I appreciate their service and willingness to come back (materials and construction are under warranty) but I really wasn’t expecting to have to, let alone multiple times in the span of the first year.

We first hired Miguel at Index Fence to build a fenced area for our dogs and the experience was amazing. Because of that experience we asked him to come back and do a terrace project. He delivered the same level of care, craftsmanship, and professionalism! We highly recommend Index Fence for any fence project!

I recently had a 6’ privacy fence installed by Index Fencing, and I couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, everything went super smoothly. The salesstaff were quick to respond, the permit process was handled for me, utilities were marked without a hitch, and the installation was right on schedule.

The crew that came out worked hard and managed to get the entire fence done in just one day. They even used the extra dirt from the post holes to grade my backyard before leaving — which was such a nice surprise!

The fence looks amazing, and the whole experience was stress-free from beginning to end. I’d absolutely recommend Index Fencing to anyone looking for a great company that does quality work and truly cares about their customers.

My complaints and concerns were ignored, kicked down the road, dismissed and finally followed up with empty promises of the final repairs. I have not left a review because I wanted to handle this without things getting out of hand. Our roof was finished in December. We are still waiting for the final builder’s gap to be taken care of. (There were many. )

First rate service from start to finish. Worked with Matthew Reep (great job Matthew!) and cannot thank or praise him enough. He walked us through the whole process (including dealing with our homeowners insurance and solar panel company) and made the whole thing easy peasy. Our new roof looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend J Key Roofing and especially, Matthew Reep who took great care of us.

J Key Roofing LLC has been a pleasure to work with. Spencer Cape was incredibly prompt with getting everything scheduled, walking us through the whole process, and just a genuinely pleasant guy to work with. There was no point we didn’t know exactly what was going on and what to expect. When the roofing crew showed up they were incredibly efficient. They literally stripped, repaired, and re-shingled our (somewhat large) roof in one day. They kept working non stop, even though the weather was chilly and gray. And they left ZERO mess behind. My yard was actually cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived. Everyone we interacted with was polite and professional. I can, without hesitation, absolutely recommend J Key Roofing to anyone looking for reliable roofing.

Just a few more details in case you’re the type of customer who reads these sorts of things. This was one of the more professional and thorough contractors we have ever dealt with. They were very responsive. Their crew showed up on time and got done on time. They even cleaned up very well…place looks better than when they arrived.
In addition they gave us very reasonable quotes for other contractors who do gutter and tree trimming work…extremely helpful. Go with these folks!

I had a positive experience with the project specialists from APR. Mr. Soldano and Mr Zorrilla are ultimate professionals, prompt, knowledgeable, focused and meticulous from start of project to completion. Good rapport with the customer and follow-through. Having these professionals on a project would incentivize any homeowner to pursue additional home improvement and repair projects.

This company is the most unorganized service provider I have dealt with in a long time. They did water damage demolition for us and while they did show up on time/quickly, the person in charge apparently was not properly experienced and started demolition without taking proper precautions to test for asbestos first. They also created a huge dust storm in our house without any concern for our furniture or rugs. Everything was left uncovered. After this demo was completed, it took weeks to get things sorted out for the estimates on the work to get insurance approvals. They did not know who was in charge and what needed to be done and in what order with insurance. We have had several different contacts throughout the process. They also forged my name on a "Certificate of Satisfaction" saying the work was done to my liking. They would email my insurance company and leave me off the emails and my insurance adjuster would ensure I was kept in the loop. They asked for payment to be sent directly to them, which is not appropriate, and my insurance denied that request thankfully.

We had work done in November 2021 and they still could not figure out our invoicing questions up until today. I called their office and spoke to Kelly who finally helped me resolve the invoicing questions and discrepancies with insurance reimbursements. She is the only person who seemed to know what was happening. The project managers were very disjointed and did not communicate well. We decided to hire another company for the repair work because of our experience. I think they have taken on too much work and cannot handle the volume of jobs.

APR did a good job repairing my floor after water damage. The project manager Donna was very nice and responsive. She kept me informed and was flexible when needed. My new floor looks great. The team met their timeline. The only problem was after install. We had minor issues at end of process when furniture was returned which required extra touch up painting for some missed areas but the they quickly addressed with no reservations.

Chris and Juan were amazing! They were very professional and fun to talk too. Y’all got a great crew with these two guys!

A week ago we had a flood due to septic plumbing issues and our homeowners insurance provided us with several emergency restoration companies. My wife and I were in a state of panic and as you can imagine we had no idea whom to call. Luckily I picked APR, and boy did I make the right decision. They showed up under a severe storm and immediately took care of the situation. I could not believe the response time considering the weather conditions. The next day I was contacted by the coordinator followed by each member of the staff responsible for all the repairs. I was assured that everything would be taken care off, and they were not kidding. All from mitigation to insurance, to estimates and repairs was clearly addressed and excellently done. The whole staff was always accessible and responded immediately. My wife and I are not only extremely satisfied with APR's performance and professionalism but with their compassion, kindness and fairness. We would like to personally thank Kyle, Ryan, Shane, Hunter, Buddy and the entire staff, they are true professionals and an asset to APR and any organization. THANK YOU...

The crew that worked with us (Marco, Juan and Francisco) did a fantastic job! They were very professional and thorough. They covered everything with plastic and protected our carpets and furniture. They are very friendly and I enjoyed having them in my home! Their manager Pete was professional, friendly and a joy to work with.
