Simply asked them to do a professional drawing that I could submit to the city. Very easy and I was willing to pay. Submitted just what they asked and then they said no. No explanation, just a flat "no, sorry." Not very professional.

If I could give more stars I would. The entire Raleigh team at Scalice went above and beyond for us. I’ve had countless surveys over the years and I’ve never seen a company willing to go the extra mile like Scalice. Will never use any other company. Thank you to the whole team for your hard work

Scalice was available to do a survey for my buyers faster than another other company we called and it was done in the time they promised. They are easy to reach and communicate with. I would recommend them to any of my clients.

I requested a land survey, and although their office staff were incredibly professional, their tech showed up unannounced a few weeks later, and spent less than an hour on my property. When he arrived, I spoke with the tech and asked him to reach out to me when he was done to go over the stakes locations, but he left soon after.When I went to look for the stakes, he only place two in-ground (which were further away from where from my neighbors stakes were placed) and I did not find any other stakes around my property. Very disappointed.

Scalise just completed a difficult land survey for us despite inclement weather and a lack of visible irons. We appreciate their perseverance, kindness, expertise, and prompt response to our questions and requests for updates. It took longer than we or they expected but they carried on and completed our survey accurately and completely. Taylor and Becky the office assistants were also helpful in getting us updates and schedules. Well done Scalise Surveyors and office staff!

From first contact to completion of the survey, Excellent Service!! My stakes on the side where I want to put a fence were gone. Come to find out the next door neighbor had put up a gate and buried my stake under pavers...Not Nice! The surveyor was excellent in doing his job. I highly recommend this company and their price is spot on and more than fair. Thank you for a job above and beyond and your perserverance in finding that buried stake.

I needed a survey within two weeks. It was surprising how many survey companies are listed without websites, no longer in business, do not respond to inquiries or just booked out a month or more.

Scalice was responsive, delivered a five days ahead of commit date and survey was very detailed. Another bonus the price was competitive to excessive.
I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a survey.

Scalice Land Surveying performed a great job for us this summer! George and Austin, the survey team, were very professional enthusiastic and friendly. They surveyed our one-acre lot, which included difficult forested terrain, in under 4 hours. I want to thank them for explaining and showing the details of land surveying techniques. We got a detailed map of our lot, showing all the dimensions and distances, in a few days. 10 stars! Attention to detail, spent 3 days on our property and made sure we were satisfied prior to leaving. Recommend you speak with your surveyor prior to them leaving to make sure you know where your stakes are especially if property is wooded. Went above and beyond and will highly recommend to anyone. Able to determine differences in easements with the city property and marking differences between residential property. Front desk is polite and great customer service. I think bc they service many areas will have to leave a message but they always call back. Highly recommend you invest in the midpoint markers.

Clifford and Brittany did a fantastic job, easy to reach, and provided pdf so we could send over to the attorney. Called a few places and most didn’t want to do residential, this group didn’t hesitate and was very easy to reach and work with. Would recommend!

I typically document positive encounters and experiences with businesses, but this is unfortunately a negative experience that others deserve to have some awareness on. Our family is working with a general contractor, and has been attempting to work with Scalice for now going on almost 3 months. They must be very busy. Good for them - anyone can work with expectations once they are set. We were quoted 6-8 weeks before someone could come out for the survey. We waited. They completed the work and we submitted what we needed to the county for our permit but the county requested more detail as the detail was missing for our pool area. We have now been contacting this company daily to get a confirmation on when they can make the requested update and have been unable to get a response.

So now we have already paid them and are at their mercy to have a minimum expectation of customer service.

It may take a while and they may deliver on one service but don’t expect to be treated as an appreciated customer. You must hope they did everything right the first time because once they are done, there’s no full accountability to their customers if clarifications or updates are needed.

We were very pleased with our experience with Scalice Land Surveying, P.C. from first reaching out to them for a price quote, until the survey was completed on 7/14/25. They made every attempt to get the survey completed prior to our scheduled landscaping project and with the weather complicating their schedules. The office staff was always pleasant, patient and helpful, especially Brittany. And we owe a special "shout out" to Felix Davila, who let us know when he was on the way to do the survey and worked in very hot, humid conditions for over two hours, patiently answering any of our questions. We moved into our Hayes Barton home in early May and couldn't be happier. Love our pool! We get so many compliments on the light up fountains. In addition, Oak City Outdoors were so easy to work with. They accommodated all of our needs!

Dean and his team are great to work with. What I appreciate most is their willingness to be available after a project is completed to come back and fix any issues, answer questions and offer advice - a unique quality in my experience!
