Great company to work with. Clay (owner) is very knowledgeable, explains every detail and his team did a great job replacing my roof. It's been around 4 months since I replaced the roof and everything looks good!
I recommend!

Clay was fantastic and easy to work with - he and his team came out and fixed our deck and retaining wall and did an absolutely fantastic job. He got the job done quickly and kept us up to date on any last minute changes or additions that were needed. We will definitely be contacting him again for future home improvements. Can not recommend him enough.

Shortly after moving into my home, I experienced a burst pipe in my upstairs bathroom that leaked into the ceiling below. Clay came out quickly and quoted all the necessary repairs, and went above and beyond to deal with my insurance company, who required endless amounts of justification. Once clearing the initial hurdle of insurance and awarding the project, Clay and his team did a great job of doing all of the necessary repairs on a timely basis. I've received several compliments on the finished product and would certainly use Statewide Construction again.

Statewide turned our 2-season porch into a stunning 4-season sunroom that we use almost daily. The workmanship and attention to detail are first-rate.

I have used Clay for several jobs on both my personal home and rental properties. He is always very responsive, friendly, and his work is top quality. For example, he remodeled our master bathroom in 2010 and we have had 0 issues with it. The craftsmanship is impeccable.

More recently, he and his crew did an extensive refurbishment of a home we purchased for my mother-in-law. Again, the work was top quality, done on time and on budget, and we have had no issues.

Clay at Statewide Construction completed a few jobs for us related to buying our new (older) home. Our realtor recommended him initially to look over the home inspection report prior to closing as we negotiated a fair credit towards home repairs. He charged a nominal fee and walked us through each item via phone, since we were out of state. We were convinced when it came time to tackle that “to do” list, he would be our first call. Within a few weeks of closing we discovered an issue with squirrels getting into the attic. We were still out of state at the time and it took less than a day for him to send a crew out to shore up any holes in the space. Fast forward a few months and we decided to replace our “new” 20 year old roof and also address some exterior water damage. All work was completed promptly by his professional crew at a fair rate. The piece of mind we now have is priceless. We wholeheartedly recommend Statewide for any construction projects and will definitely call on him for any future projects this old house requires.

Curtis and his crew replaced our 35 year old deck with this gorgeous deck. He gave us lots of suggestions and ideas and we are super pleased with the work they did. They were prompt and courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend!

We also had them replace our roof, including replacement of three skylights, as well as installation of all new gutters. Clay and his team were top notch. Clay, the owner, was onsite almost daily ensuring his team had everything they needed, ensuring we, as the client, were satisfied and came by to do a final inspection with us after their work was all wrapped up.

Clay updated our 50 year old kitchen. The coordination of the trades coming in to do the plumbing, electrical, demo, flooring was exceptional, resulting in no long delays. I highly recommend Statewide Construction.

Absolutely best contractor in the Triangle Area. Clay (owner) with his teams completely remodeled two bathrooms in under two months before we moved in.

From day 1, Clay was personable, responsive and he gave us design ideas. That was a major plus since we’ve not done a bathroom remodel before.

I’ve also used Statewide for roofing repair, exterior rotting boards and installing new exterior door.

I plan to use Statewide again for our last bathroom remodel and addition to our attic. Thanks Clay for the superior work.

I can highly and confidently recommend Clay and Statewide Construction LLC. We had a major house remodel that included the removal of 5 pillars and another wall. It entailed a great deal of engineering and know -how to accomplish such a major undertaking. We also painted the entire interior and refinished our wood floors and replaced some carpeting with new wood floors. He also helped to remodel our kitchen and added a new window. He worked on a remodel of our bathroom too! He had to coordinate with many different people (electrician, plumbers, painters, wood installers etc.) and did so with grace and the utmost professionalism. Remodeling can be a stressful situations but we always trusted Clay.

Clay & his team did extensive structural repairs after we purchased our first home. He is very reliable, stands behind his work, and was excellent at communicating with our structural engineer. We plan to use Statewide for future renovations.

Clay Curtis and his team at Statewide Construction did a fabulous job at our home. We had an unfinished second floor storage area that Clay finished off for a playroom for our 10 grandchildren, complete with heating/cooling, built-in shelves and a hidden door. In addition, he added two windows in our first floor hearth room, that lets in the afternoon sun. We are more than happy with the work and professionalism of Clay's team and would recommend Statewide to anyone looking for a fair price and great results. 5 stars for sure!

Clay created a perfect design adding an attractive plexiglass barrier to an open loft half-wall making the space safe for children. He was a pleasure to work with, patiently accommodating various design possibilities and scheduling restrictions. He and his crew were meticulous, professional, and very considerate of the family with small children living there. I will choose Clay and his team anytime I have construction/renovation needs.

Requested to meet to get an estimate for a minor addition. Did not show up three times as agreed upon. Stopped responding to phone calls, texts and emails. Very unprofessional
