If there was a 0 (zero) star/rating or below zero, I would give this company less than 0. This company and their subcontractors ruined my house. Began project (cut out trusses, removed sheathing, shingles, etc.) without obtaining permits and engineer's letter which was required to perform the job...not only that, workers were about to replace the damaged sheathing with sheathing not approved/coded for roofing. City Inspector shows up and catches the workers trying to install trusses and asks for the permit...they DO NOT have one and are working without a permit. He tells them to Stop All Work and they cannot put up any more trusses or do any more work until they have the proper permits. He also notices the sheathing they had purchased to place on my house...inferior sheathing not coded for roofing and tells them they cannot put the inferior sheathing on the roof. In addition, Inspector tells them they must STOP all work and place a tarp on the house until proper permits are obtained as well as the correct sheathing...sheathing approved/coded for roofs. Project manager promises he will be in their/Inspector's office by 9:00 am the following day to get proper permits. Two days later City Inspector comes by to check my property because the company/project manager who had promised to get the required permits did NOT get them. A "Stop Work Order" was placed on the door of my home! Subsequently, heavy thunder and rainstorms came and blew tarp off the house. Guess what? Rain poured in the house...down the walls, on the carpets; had to cover personal belongings, move furniture, etc. Not only once, but twice the rains came and blew off the tarp. Wait! That's not all...there's more.The tarp had holes! The storm again filled my house with water. Summer time and no roof on the house means no air conditioning. Instead of repairs, I got MOLD! They have the nerve to say they have finished the job although they have not replaced insulation back in the roof, replaced soffits, and more...I would never, ever, hire this firm nor their subcontractors to do anything...not even clean the gutters and did I tell you...the damaged gutters are still hanging.

Great service on my first job with CTI. They investigated an exterior leak, communicated what they found, and took multiple steps to patch it up. Thank you!

We live in a townhome area and had called to report our issue with our front and back gutters in our townhome, which were set incorrectly due to poor workmanship of the original home builders. Water was going everywhere except in our actual gutters! We were referred to CTI by our HOA, and emailed them a description and a video to show our problem. An appointment was made for us that same week in the morning.

The technician and his assistant came out right on time, as promised. After we walked him through our house to show our issues, he pointed out to us that more more serious fixes was required. Fortunately, he was able to come back with the necessary parts in less than an hour and immediately went to work. In less than an hour, they were already done and walked us through their work. Problems solved!

I commend CTA Property Services for resolving our issue to our complete satisfaction. They were considerate and professional with us the whole way, and took the time to explain more of the problem and show us how they fixed it. The only thing I would have wanted for giving them a 5-star review is if their HR person followed up with me to ask how my service was.

The worst company I have dealt with in ages! Taped up my house like they were gonna start work over a month ago and have never returned! It’s almost Christmas now so you know CTI won’t be back until 2025 if I am lucky.

I had some siding replaced. They did a great job, and replaced 15 boards and a soffit in b one afternoon. They also color matched the paint and took care of that as well. Great experience

CTI is a great contractor to work with. I manage an apartment community and they have successfully and professionally completed various different projects and renovations for us...highly recommend.

CTI Property Services seemed like a great place to work with on a commercial residential building. We need four new exterior doors on our property, which seems like a simple enough job for everything they say they do. Well after being in contact with them for a week trying to get them to come out to our property, the project manager stopped answering/returning my calls and messages. I talked to the people at the main office and it seemed like everything was back on track, and they told me to wait for a call from the project manager later that day. I never received a call so I called him the next day. I explained the situation and asked when he or one of his guys would be coming out. He told me that they were "too busy" to "schedule" and appointment. Their schedule is obviously full for weeks on end. He told me he gave my number to another company to work with. Didn't tell me the name of the company or who I was supposed to be working with, told me to have a good day, and hung up the phone. Very rude service from their property managers. Considering I never actually saw any of these guys in person after trying to work with them for 3 weeks, I wouldn't recommend using this company for any sort of business or residence.

I manage a dozen properties in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area so I frequently have emergencies on those sites. Graham and his team are very responsive, always do a good job making repairs, being professional and also arriving right on time. I’ve had them do everything from remove and replace drywall painting ceiling tile replacement plumbing emergencies water restoration repairing leaks fixing doors, roof repairs and every other a job you could imagine. They have never let me down! I think I can speak for the rest of the managers at my company when I say they help make our job much easier!

CtI has done 5 services for our properties. Sidewalk in slate, roofing, complete exterior and interior paint with any necessary associated repairs and cabinet upgrade to mud room. No job is too or too large for their crews.

I have been using CTI for bids and projects for the last 10 years, and they are always top notch! Chad is the rep I deal with the most. He is fast to respond and it’s obvious has pride in his job and the work the crews do! I recommend them to friends and family often for any job one could imagine!

This company is horrible. They were hired to paint the exterior of our condos. They did the worst job I've ever seen. They painted over tape, nails, and paint flakes. They did absolutely no meaningful prep work. They also used the wrong color of paint.

What's worse is the response from one of their project managers when I tried to figure out how to get items fixed. He was defensive, angry, rude, and threatening.

I would never to do business with this company again.

The CTI vice president reached out to me directly after seeing my review. All of the issues were addressed before he reached out to me. I think the project manager was just having a bad day when I spoke with him. The measure of success is not so much the problems, but how they are handled.

I am changing my review from 1 to 5 stars.

I'm happy to share this rating for CTI. I always call them my "Go To" vendor for good reason. They respond immediately, provide detailed quotes for service, schedule with the owners and show up when they are expected. They treat my clients with courtesy and professionalism. I can honestly say I've never had a callback. I've managed properties for fourteen years and never considered changing companies.

Crew came out and replaced our deck steps. They did an excellent job. Heat index was 110 degrees and their work was still top notch!

Work directly with Steve Lineberger at CTI who has gone way above and beyond to keep us nice and dry. Highly recommend!

CTI Property Services has shown a level of integrity and customer service that honestly has blown me away. They conducted work on my home 5 years ago and were a pleasure to work with. They were communicative, on time, respectful of our space, and worked efficiency. I recently noticed an issue potentially related to the work they had performed and reached out to them. The owner drove out of his way to meet with me immediately. He listened to my issue, assured me that he would do right by me as a customer, and has agreed to refund me for any costs incurred by the issue.

Not every company stands by their work like CTI Property Services. The owner is very friendly, cares about his customers, and is a man of his word. This is the type of company you want to do business with.

Two years ago our condo community in Raleigh contracted CTI to replace the roof and gutters of one of our two buildings. The project was a total success and we haven’t had a single problem.

We were so satisfied that this year we sole-sourced the second roof project to CTI. This project was a bigger challenge because we did it in September/2024 and had multiple big rains, including effects from Helene. The guys did a super job and we had another great outcome.

I want to mention one particular day, Friday the 13’th of September that really demonstrates how terrific these guys are. The roof was partially uncovered the night before as there was no rain forecast, but at about 6 AM there was freak storm. Within about 15 minutes they had two full teams on-site. One group went up on the slippery roof, in the dark, with pouring rain and lightening … and quickly spread tarps on the open areas. The other team went in the attic to look for leaky spots, and there were some. So they brought a whole remediation team on site quickly and put blowers and dehumidifiers in the four affected apartments (mine among them). After the project was completed they again came and fixed every internal detail, treated and repainted every spot to everyone’s complete satisfaction.

We knew CTI was good after the first roof project, but you really find out what an outfit is all about when there are big challenges!

I was a member of our roof committee that oversaw the project and give an unqualified positive recommendation to them, with special kudos to Steve Lineberger for his superb responsiveness, proactive approach, and teamwork.
