Dogwood Moving Company was recommended to me and they measured up to their reputation. My furnishings were individually wrapped and handled with care. Gabe (leader), Craig, and Elmo were so polite and very experienced. I was especially amazed at how they handled the piano. At delivery, they made sure everything was where I wanted it. Professional and caring!

I cannot express how amazing dogwood moving was!!

They were so communicative and flexible as our move date happened to fall on the date of a winter storm! They were able to move up the time and get everything done before the first drop of freezing rain.

Their pricing model is also very transparent and fair.

The movers themselves were so gentle with all of our items and made sure we knew where everything was going. When our mattress didn’t fit up the stairwell without touching the walls they let us know and asked if we were comfortable in case it scratched the wall (it didn’t) but that was so appreciated. They were also super kind and funny!

I can’t even begin to imagine how stressful moving would have been if we hadn’t booked Dogwood. I will use them every time I move and highly recommend you do too!

We had them come out to help with a local move and WOW Gabe was the best. He took care of everything as if it was his own. Very friendly, kind, professional and he has the best curly hair! 10/10 would suggest.

I cannot rave enough about Dogwood Moving Company’s professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness and excellence. Keegan, Addison and Gavin worked together so seamlessly, communicated perfectly, worked quickly and efficiently and were delightful on top of everything. From now on, I will always use and recommend Dogwood Moving.

I had accidentally wrote this review for their Raleigh location. I Meant for Wilmington. I'm giving three stars as nothing was broken to my knowledge. We just moved last weekend. But our brand new bookshelves had a lot of scratches on the bottom. These guys are young and I think a few are more experienced than the others. They had one floor protector to roll out. My husband had to ask them to put it down! I was at our apartment still and was not aware. Our new house has a long hallway. They should have had two. When I asked if they had another floor protector I was told no with a bit of a tude by one of them.
They were nice and polite for the most part. Decent experience.

Working with this company was absolutely amazing! I was able to schedule a move with them on one day's notice and they even moved me during the start of a snowstorm. They were prompt, professional, and polite and took extremely good care of my belongings. I highly recommend contacting them if you're in need of moving services.

I used Dogwood Moving Co for an across-town move and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Their team was quick to respond to emails around scheduling and pricing, punctual on moving day, and communicative throughout the entire process. Everything was handled with care and efficiency. This is my second time moving using Dogwood Moving and I can’t imagine using anyone else. They make the whole process so easy— booking online, several helpful emails leading up to the move to prepare, and the move itself. Nate, Tres, Jaden and Nic R were so professional, pleasant and fast! They were efficient while still being very careful with all of our belongings. I also appreciated that while we reserved two trucks in case we needed the space, they don’t charge for the second truck if you don’t end up needing it (which we didn’t!) Their pricing is upfront, fair, and incredibly worth it for the peace of mind you get working with them.

John A and Mo were extremely accommodating, professional, and considerate. They moved our items with care and made the process quick too. They fully explained what we were being charged and payment was easy utilizing a tap to pay. I’d 100% use Dogwood movers again and specifically ask for John and Mo. It was refreshing to have such great service which is hard to come by these days. Whoever is John and Mo’s supervisors please give them a massive raise, take home cars, and unlimited PTO. I apologize this review was a week or two late. Thanks guys!

Moved 2 chests from Raleigh to Wilmington today. The movers did exactly as they said they would do, arrived on time, called ahead to each location, wrapped/protected furniture and were very professional, respectful and polite. Would use them again and recommend them.

Aaron and John A. from Dogwood Moving LLC were awesome! I really appreciated the following:
1. Their clear and prompt communication (ex. estimated arrival time and how long the moving process would take). They also asked clarifying questions (what to move and where to place the items at the final destination).
2. Their very friendly and professional demeanor.
3. Their efficient and prompt execution of the move.
If I were to move again in the Raleigh area, I would choose Dogwood Moving LLC again, and recommend their services to others.

Great service all around. The emails were super informative, and the day of the move went perfectly. Naim and Antwain arrived at the first location right on time, and arrived at the second location very quickly. They were able to move my very large, very heavy player piano, even through some tight turns, without any damage whatsoever. They were both very polite and friendly, and even chatted with my kids (who were very excited). The price at the end of the move was very good, and the payment process was easy. All around this was a great experience, and I'll be recommending this company to any friends or family that need help moving😊

HIGHLY recommend!! We used Dogwood Moving Company after they were personally referred to us. We moved the week of Thanksgiving and the whole crew was polite, helpful, efficient, and simply amazing!! The prep day was very helpful and on both this day and the moving day, the crew were prompt and wonderful. All of our items were moved without damage and the team helped us prep for an unplanned additional storage unit. Two young men, Tres and Linkin, did a fabulous job helping us move into our new apartment on November 5, 2025. We are elderly and so appreciated how carefully they unloaded the trailer with all of our belongings and moved everything into our new apartment. They carefully placed things just where we asked them to. These young men were very pleasant, worked quickly and carefully, and had a great sense of humor. I had an amazing experience with my movers — Alex B., Alex W., and Carter. They were incredibly professional, kind, and fast from start to finish. The team handled everything with care, and made the entire move feel easy and stress-free.

They worked efficiently without ever rushing, checked in to make sure everything was placed where I wanted it, and were just genuinely pleasant to have around on moving day. I’m so grateful for their hard work — the whole experience was smooth, friendly, and much easier than I expected.

We recently relocated from RTP to OIB. The team was incredible. We had a brief hiccup with scheduling on our end and they assured us they would work with us. The team removed a massive stressor from the whole process. They communicated clearly every step of the way. They were punctual, and courteous. Our team of Connor and Kalvin got to work quickly, took extra care of the items, moved with urgency, and were very friendly. While some of our items were likely not fun to move, they kept a smile and would pause anytime I had questions. We highly recommend Dogwood moving, as they truly made one of the hardest parts of the process easy!

Love Dogwood movers. First, It's great having a moving company that isn't just a third party middleman like this is a local company that does its own moves and doesn't contract out to other moving companies. They're responsive and great to work with. Feel like we're in safe hands.

Had a great experience with Dogwood Moving Company. Planned a local move that had to be rescheduled twice due to medical issue I was dealing with. They were kind, courteous and very pleasant to deal with. The moving day finally came and the crew was excellent, fast, and no damage occurred to anything that was moved. I highly recommend.

To save our own backs, we hired the Dogwood Moving Company to move my daughter and fiance out of their 2nd floor apartment and into their new townhouse with 3 floors. What a great job these guys did!! They arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Naim, Mo and Richard were SO professional, friendly and careful! They appeared to move everything up and down multiple flights of stairs in the oppressive July heat and humidity with ease, although they obviously made it look less taxing than it really was. Everything was placed in its designate spot in the new house and not a single item was damaged. These guys were very careful of the walls and did an amazing job of navigating the narrow stairways. Thank you so much for a job very well done!
