Alan did a great job at our house today. I had several things that needed to be done--including a repair which I wasn't sure was even possible--and he accomplished all of them. He also took the time to explain things to me. He treated our house like he would treat his own, and I really appreciated that.

Let me just say that Alan is amazing! He is always prompt and goes above and beyond to ensure each customer is left satisfied. Did I mention he offers professional services at affordable prices?! If you are in the area and in need of house repairs, I would highly recommend him!

Alan was at our home on time and ready to work. His detail and desire to do things the right way was refreshing. Although we hired him to fix our kitchen faucet, he offered sound advice and helpful tips for our overall plumbing system. Our kitchen faucet looks wonderful and we are planning to have Alan to do more work in the coming weeks. Thank you!

I am so happy with Alan's professionalism and prompt response. He called me within an hour of my online inquiry and he came to my house the same day. Alan and his excellent assistant James really went above-and-beyond with the work they did for us last week. They replaced a light fixture and an outdated smoke alarm, installed new door locks, repaired a toilet, replaced the damaged weather stripping under our back door, and (thankfully!!) found and fixed a leakage problem with our garbage disposal. Alan is clearly knowledgeable about home repairs, and he made time to explain what he was doing and why, which I appreciated. He is thorough, trust-worthy and pays attention to detail. Quality work is a priority for Alan, and I highly recommend him for any handyman work you need around your home.

Alan saved the day! He showed up early and worked quickly to get our home ready for an Open House. He was kind and personable, helpful and fair. We will call him EVERY time we need work done from here on out.

August '23 Update: Once again, Alan provided remarkable service. He installed multiple ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout our new home. He is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He even offered to come back next week to install another fixture and fix a faulty switch that he discovered during his work. We will continue to call him for all of our "handyman" needs!

He did several household jobs for me, including installing a ceiling fan, installing a curtain shower double-rail and re-attaching a kitchen cabinet door. He was quick, knowledgeable, friendly and a fair price. I will definitely go to him for future needs.

Alan was recommended to us for installing a new microwave. He came same day, on time, and finished the job in under two hours. His labor cost was reasonable and he followed up later with us, answering a question we had asked him during the process. Highly recommend!

I called Alan for a fan installation in my home. He was very responsive, set a date and time immediately, showed up on time, was very professional, and did a great job installing my fan. I was very happy with his work and will definitely plan on using him for some other projects that I might have in the future.

A few months back I hired Alan to put a closet rack up and and to mount a TV on the wall. He did great work and was personable. When I bought my new home, I knew who to call; Alan hung my TVs, curtain rods, and put a cabinet together. It's means so much to have someone to call with confidence that they will do a great job. He's funny too. 😆

Alan was able to come out and help us with several projects within 24 hrs. He was at our home on time and very professional. He installed a microwave which wasn’t easy due to the tile and new holes that had to be drilled, hung 2 shelves, and cleared out our dryer vent. His prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend his services.

In a few hours Alan knocked out a list of tasks that would have taken me all weekend. Not only were the jobs professionally done, but Alan is a person I trust to have in my home. I highly recommend him, and will certainly be calling him again.

The Raleigh Handyman (Alan) performs excellent service, is personable, on time and reasonably priced. We are moving my father into my sister's home and needed safety measures installed. Alan installed wall heaters, handrails, wall cabinets, safety grab bars and mounted a TV. Throughout the work, Alan asked for (and accepted!) our input. In essence, we worked on the project together - he wanting to ensure that it was all done exactly as we wanted. Alan also provided his expert advice when we suggested a measure/technique that would not have led to the best outcome. There is no question that we would recommend Alan to anyone and will certainly have him do any future work we need.
