Alan was very helpful in getting a few projects wrapped up around our house. Very friendly, easy to work with, quick, and knowledgeable.

I needed 3 18x24 frames hung in my home. I reached out to the Raleigh Handyman, and he replied very quickly (within a couple of hours). He asked for clarification regarding the type of backing on the frame, and I sent him a picture of the back of the frames. He provided a quote and let me select a time for him to arrive. The day before the appointment, he confirmed that I still needed him to come out. He arrived on time and was super friendly. I thought I wanted the frames 2 inches apart, but he advised me to measure the whole wall so that I could appropriately consider how the aesthetic will look and ensure that no awkward spaces were left behind. I really appreciated his advice. He was kind enough to talk me through his process so that I understood how everything was being hung. Everything turned out beautiful. The price was very reasonable compared to other companies I had researched. Very happy with the work performed.

Alan repaired a door that wouldn’t stay closed and when it was closed, it was drafty. He showed me the issues with the door and was able to “MacGyver” it despite faults by the builder years ago regarding the door frame and the screws used. His prices are reasonable as well. By the time he left, I felt like I’d made a new friend!

Alan has helped us out a number of times and is our go to for maintenance needs. He is honest, reliable, efficient and pricing is always fair. His quality is excellent! Alan goes above and beyond and we would recommend him to anyone in the area needing repairs!

I cannot recommend Alan highly enough. He came to replace our garbage disposal the same day we called, had very reasonable prices, was so professional that I didn’t feel uncomfortable without my husband there and so friendly that the time he was working flew by. He gave helpful advice about other repairs that he wasn’t being consulted for and MOST importantly, was patient and understanding with my 2 curious special needs sons who were like his shadow while he was busy at work.

I reached out to Alan on Tuesday, 12/19 for an online estimate. He responded within the hour for more details and within the next hour, he provided me with a quote for the services I requested. He offered to come on Wednesday but I had other errands to run so we settled on Thursday morning.

I had two existing ceiling fans that I wanted replaced with two remote controlled ceiling fans. Alan arrived promptly and professionally installed both of the ceiling fans. There were some unforeseen difficulties but Alan walked me through the issues and explained possible solutions. I loved that he kept me informed throughout the process and that he was able to successfully install both of the ceiling fans.

In addition, he provided some helpful feedback on a project I had done earlier in the summer that was done incorrectly and I had not even noticed.
