Charles, our sales representative, was prompt, under promised and over delivered on schedule date, provided the expertise we needed regarding both grounding our very large oak tree plus diagnosed an issue with another tree.
The crew was amazing. They were professional, kind, responsive and took the time to answer questions that we had. They truly impressed us handling 2 large jobs so well.
I feel that the crew went above and beyond!
We are planning to install a zip line and they advised the best trees to use. Their idea is much better than our original plan.

We were very satisfied with the Bartlett Tree Service Team that came to our house. The guys were courteous, polite, and professional. After reviewing the work to be done, they kitted up and began trimming and cleaning up the storm damage. They worked nonstop until the last pile of debris was cleaned up. Even the little sticks and leaves were cleaned up with a rake, shovel, and leaf blower. I was impressed.

I highly recommend Bartlett and especially the team that did our work.

Barlett did a great job removing a very tall, old tree from our backyard. They had to deal with several issues, including a sloped area, an iron fence, a steep hill and several awkward steps. They cleaned up the area and removed all of the trunk pieces and branches. We would certainly use them again.

Never thought I would be writing a review for a tree company but here I am adulting. I have nothing but good things to say about Bartlett. I was having all sorts of issues with my trees and shrubbery (see monte python reference) and I called these good folks. Robert Hatfield came out, walked the yard with me, explained what he thought was going on, took some samples, came up with a plan and then the bestest arborist in the whole world (not even exaggerating) and treated everything. Everything is growing and looks amazing. If I have anything that I think looks off I can call them and they come and take a look. Highly recommended them and their services!

I have been using Bartlett Tree Experts for several years and have never been disappointed. They are always prompt, professional, and courteous. From the more difficult things like trimming my big maple to easier things like fertilizing the trees.
Jarod is especially easy to work with and is always pleasant and definitely knowledgeable. Will continue to use them.

A tree fell on my dad's house in December last year and we used Bartlett's to remove it and leave the tree in manageable pieces so we could just put the tree pieces in the woods next to his house. They did a fine job on removing the tree, but left far less than manageable pieces in his yard. The picture I have included is the current state of it...this is after I used a dolly to remove the pieces that wear around 100 pounds to the woods on my own. At this point, we are going to have to either move this ourselves or hire someone to do it. My sister wrote them several times about this, and even though they did come out again to cut the tree in manageable pieces (it was much worse than what's in the pic before), we still have pieces that are probably 500 or more pounds that we cannot move. I hate to leave a negative review because they were really the only ones we could get to respond to us and they did get the tree off the house, but I just don't feel we got what we paid for here.

Barlett is the REAL DEAL! My trees and landscaping are healthy and thriving. I couldn't ask for a better tree company. THANK YOU!

Bartlett Tree Experts did a wonderful job with my relatively small project of pruning a tree that was hanging over my driveway and clearing about a 10 foot space from the driveway to my property line, plus pruning a crape myrtle in my backyard. The crew that came to my house was very friendly and accommodating. One of them even helped me move a large and very heavy planter with a small tree in it. I will definitely call on them again if I have more tree work on my property that needs to be done.

I have not used Bartlett for tree removal, but I did hire them for pest control services, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. I discussed the issues on my 1.2-acre property with Bryan, our service manager, and chose Bartlett because of their perceived expertise. I expected that, when they came to my property, they would identify and address not only the problems I had already noticed but also any other issues that might not have been immediately apparent. Unfortunately, this was far from the case.

The technician needed me to point out the trees I had already specified to Bryan, and even then, they failed to identify or treat other clear issues on my property. If I hadn’t been present on the day of the treatment, none of the problems would have been addressed, as Bryan had not effectively communicated even the most obvious concerns to the technician.

Following this disappointing experience, I hoped they would return to treat the remaining issues, such as my sick magnolia trees. However, instead of offering to “make things right,” they ignored my concerns, and the problems were never resolved. Despite my repeated follow-ups with Bryan over the following months, my requests to address these issues were consistently brushed off.

Now, I have received the full invoice for the work, even though I tried to get them to reduce the charges due to the poor service. Their response, as before, was silence—they continued to send the full invoice without addressing my complaints.

I cannot recommend Bartlett for pest control services. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

As usual Bartlett did a great job! They came when they said they would and did a very good job taking out some bamboo that had become very overgrown.

Highly recommend Bartlett. Have been a customer for 5+ years with Bartlett managing the health of our extensive evergreen trees, crepe myrtles, and shrubbery. They've always been timely, courteous, professional and timely.

We were extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service provided by Bartlett, both in terms of workmanship and customer support. We hired the company to address some overgrown shrubs in our backyard, expecting professional care from a certified arborist. Unfortunately, the results were disappointing.

The technician who performed the work appeared to follow the arborist's notes in an overly literal manner. Most of the instructions recommended reducing the shrubs by half, and the technician simply cut them straight across without any shaping or consideration for aesthetics. Furthermore, several dead limbs and unwanted sprouts were left untouched, despite these being issues their service advertise as pruning on their website.

I expressed my concerns, explaining that had we known this was the extent of the service and would be very literal to the arborist note's, I would have done myself. We expected comprehensive, thoughtful care—not rushed or careless trimming. Despite repeated phone calls to Charlie and two return visits, each follow-up required my personal inspection and another round of complaints.

A fitting analogy for the experience would be visiting a barber for a haircut and being sent home after only the top was trimmed—then having to return separately for the sides, the back, the sideburns, and so on. Again, if this is the service they aim to provide just be honest upfront and not a misleading arborist care.

I also spoke with the manager, Robert, but he demonstrated little interest in resolving the issue or in addressing concerns about the quality of their work. Overall, I cannot recommend Bartlett. Our experience fell far short of what one should expect from a professional arborist service.

After three visits, we've had a chance to evaluate the quality of work firsthand and now have a clear understanding of your standards.

You're still welcome to stop by; I’d be happy to show you photos of the work that was done. At this point, however, I’ve ended up addressing the issues myself, and my expectations moving forward are realistic.

I live in an HOA neighborhood. This company was chosen by my HOA. I was in my living room located on the second floor of the townhouse, when rocks and wood was hitting my windows. When I went to look to see what was happening, I found my car and my neighbors car completely covered in small rocks and wood pieces. Apparently it’s a great idea to use an air compressor to dig out a root 6 feet away from my car and not even bother to knock on The doors closes to see if the cars can be moved. I went downstairs to check on my car to find a chip on my windshield! The worker brushed me off by saying that the HOA was ok with him not bothering to inform ppl that their cars are about to be covered in a massive amount of dust and possibly sustain damage. After speaking to the HOA, that is false and was a complete lie. They encourage me to contact the company to get them to fix my car windows.
They are completely careless for people property! In the last image you can even see rocks flying towards my car as he is working. A telephone conversation included them not understanding how they could have caused my chipped windshield, when I literally have images of him using a compressor on dirt a couple of steps away from my car, with debris flying at my car. They are coming to look at my car tho, that gives me hope that they may try and make this right.

concrete driveway. I was pleased with the quality of their work
and reasonableness of their price.

One of the three main trunks on our beautiful birch tree decided to fall down :( we thought we would lose the whole tree but Christian came out and diagnosed the damage and came up with a plan to treat the break area and offload some of the weighted ends of existing branches that we feel will save the tree. Bartlett Tree Experts love trees as much as anyone and they work hard to keep them healthy and alive. Highly recommend their expertise!

Our crepe myrtles were becoming ungainly and unsightly. Bartlett came in and made them look fresh and new and left our yard spotless. Outstanding job and we would highly recommend.

We had a large Oak bough laying on the house wires (recent growth spurt added considerable weight to the bough, hence the drop). Nick assessed our needs & additionally recommended removing a Mulberry tree which was threatening wires closer to the house. I received detailed info to contact Duke Energy for a 'line drop' so the work could be done. Working with the appointment Duke Energy gave me, Nick and his team handled the trees quickly & professionally. Safety was the prevalent theme & I was impressed by how a senior arborist gently mentored a younger worker, who performed extremely well. The entire process (cutting back the Oak bough and removing the offending Mulberry tree was completed before noon. Duke Energy returned to set the wiring up very quickly.
Nick followed up with me in person to inquire about the work done to my satisfaction. I'm impressed with the high professionalism Bartlett Tree Experts adheres to. Thank you for a job well done.

They took out several trees and removed a brush pile that had been building overtime, left the place clean and looking good. This is our 2 or 3rd time using Bartlett Tree and will definitely use again if necessary!
