Charlie came out to give us a price on changing out a bad panel as well as a few other things and we were pleased with his presentation and pricing. In fact, he beat the pricing of a local competitor by more than HALF less! We showed him the other company's price afterwards and he was just FLOORED and just shook his head. So I think it's worth leaving a review since we were that pleased. Charlie came out along with a helper precisely when he said he would and did exactly what he said he would for the exact amount we had agreed to. Nice to know you can still get great service at a very fair price these days. Thanks CJS electric.

Mr Charlie came out during a very busy time looked at what I had going on and gave it to me straight. His knowledge of his job is like no other he broke everything down and what it did to the point anyone could understand and after he done telling you you feel like you are a licensed professional electrician. I highly recommend Mr Charlie for his service did me more than I deserve and great conversation!! Just like the barbershop get you in fix you up and make you look good when he is done!! My man!!

Charlie was amazing from start to finish! He was punctual and quick to respond to any of my questions. He gave me a very fair and competitive price and made sure to review every bit of his work with me before and after completion. His professionalism and customer service were amazing as well! I hired Charlie to rough wire my house I'm building. He is very professional, knows what he's doing, is very honest and also personable. Communication was excellent as well. I would hire him again for any electrical needs.

Requested and paid for 210 ft of wire somehow the wire shrunk by 15 feet. I had the ability to move a box so I was able to make it work but…..

This place sucks. Over priced cheep junk for ballast and lighting.
Little to no stock. Promoses of over night deliveries on orders are hollow. The counter help is inexperienced and it takes forever to pull orders and pring invoices.
They change managers every couple of years and replace them with managers that know nothing about the needs of local electricians.
The man that first opened the store at Tramway was local and had experience and a work ethic. After he was replaced it has been on a downward slide ever since.
I hope you have a better experience with them than I have.

Always had a good experience and no issues with any products. Dealing with the public you do have to consider customers opinions. Especially with such a detailed variety of products. Would recommend. They are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Prefer over Lowe's any day of the week.

We have always used MR Stoner Electric. From installing a whole new system out to and inside of our barn, to troubleshooting problems in the house, they'vedone it all for us. This is the second time we have used M.R. Stoner for repairs in an emergency. They were so responsive, professional, kind. We could not have asked for better service than we received. I don't think any company could have made our repairs happen any faster and they followed up after to make sure everything was working. We will definitely use them for all our electric needs and would recommend them to anyone!

We just had a pond fountain installed- Ryan and Chase ran electricity from our house to the pond. These guys were awesome! I am so happy that we found this company! Angie, in the office, is so responsive and friendly. They were such a pleasure to work with. So professional and knew exactly how to get the job done!

Our repair was done quickly and professionally but, most importantly, was done the SAME DAY to accommodate our emergency. It was apparent that M. R. Stoner's front office made multiple, internal calls to adjust their schedule to be here for us.

I am happy to write this review and share the wonderful experience we encountered with M.R. Stoner Electric. We lost our power late Sunday evening and called three other companies before coming across M.R. Stoner Electric. So glad that the others were not available even though they list 24/7 service. However, Stoner Electric stands by their claim of providing 24/7 service and we had contact with our tech within 15 minutes of our call. I don't believe we could have received better service from another company. Everyone from the call center employee who took my initial call, to the technician that came to provide service, to the owner who collected payment, all went above and beyond to ensure our power was restored and that we had everything we needed. The longest wait we had was waiting for our power company to come pull the meter for the service tech to do his job. I absolutely recommend M.R. Stoner Electric to everyone needing electrical service and I will definitely be calling them with any and all future needs.

Great company, had them out to wire a room I was finishing in the house, they came out for free and gave me an estimate. Decided to go with them because their estimate was the most thorough and honest about what I needed (every other company wanted to wire into an existing circuit, they pointed out that those circuits were maxed out). After the job was scheduled I had some special requests that they were timely and considerate about granting at no extra charge to me. Their work just passed inspection, something I found out that many electric companies are willing to illegally go around in Sanford to save themselves some money. Great crew, great company, excellent service, anybody looking around can stop here.

Our technician Ryan was on time. He did a thorough job explaining the process of replacing the electrical panels. He was polite,he cleaned up his work site, and did not give me the creeps. This is extremely important when you're letting vendors into your home to replace major components of your house. You should feel at ease, not threatened, not shady,and they are trustworthy. We will definitely be using Mr Stoner electric in the future for all of our electrical needs for our home in Pinehurst North Carolina. I will be recommending his team to anyone looking for electrical work.

We had an emergency situation where we had no water in our house! We made an appointment with plumbers only to find out it was an electrical issue. I randomly called MR Stoner and was told they could fit me in after hours (thank goodness) but within 30 min received a call back letting me know they had someone in my area that could help right away. Ryan and Chase showed up and not only were they professional and courteous, they were definitely experts! They carefully diagnosed the issue and walked me through options to get the water back on asap. We then scheduled the repair and again they returned with a great attitude (despite it being one of the hottest days on record) and an expert repair. I cannot say enough about the customer service we received. Thanks to MR Stoner and their team!!

We called Stoner Electric because we had a to have a difficult additional wiring circuit job done necessitating some creative routing through tight spaces and presenting a real technically logistical challenge. We had previously asked another local, highly recommend electrician to estimate, however he was baffled. M.R. Stoner Electric was recommended by our realtor because , although she had not used them, she had “ heard great things” from her clients who had.

I called the company this morning (Saturday) and explained I was having electrical issues at our home. Our 220 line coming into the house at the meter had partially melted and our ac and well pump went down. House built in 1970 w a recessed (in brick) exterior panel. They explained it was going to be an up charge for service on the weekend, which is understandable considering it’s outside of their normal working hours. John came out to the house within an hour of the call. Diagnosed the issue almost immediately. (On the ride over to be exact.) He was knowledgeable and professional. Kept me up to date and explained in detail what needed to happen and gave an estimate prior to starting the repair. His supervisor Sid also showed up shortly after to lend assistance. Together with the coordination of Duke energy had my power back, line replaced, and meter repaired before early afternoon. All class with this company. Hard workers. Communication was great.
