Estimate, work order assignment and scheduling, and job all went great. Albert was honest about what my home needed, Nikki was helpful and flexible in sending a crew down from NC when appointments were going to have to cause me to wait for over a month otherwise, and the crew that did the work was awesome. Jason and the others explained the process, had all materials ready, and even notified me of other plumbing issues so that the waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, sump pump installation, and addition of the dehumidifier would be as effective as possible. They worked well with my plumber, Jim, too! I am so thankful for '58 Foundations and to get this done!

We have a waterproofing system that was installed by a different company in 2019. 58 Foundations took it over some 5+ years ago. They have been servicing our system since then and have done really well. Lately, I have wanted to make sure all our paperwork was good with them, so I went to meet the GM, Mike M., at the Thomasville, NC office. He was extremely helpful and we feel confident our system is in good hands! Dan D., Badin, NC.

I have had a very positive experience with 58 Foundations and Waterproofing! 😊
JW assessed my crawlspace with photos to show me ( as I don’t go under the house very often). He then quoted me the cost to replace all the insulation with R19 and place a thicker water barrier. My home is 32 years old. I was impressed that JW was thorough in explaining the process and did not use any pressure before I signed the contract. I did my research on different crawlspace companies before calling them . I was impressed by their positive reviews from other customers and also that they are a BBB company. They also offer easy financing if you want to stretch out your payments. I put a deposit down in April.and requested the work be completed the first week of May. Nikkie was my contact person for this project and was always available by text, email or phone if I had any questions prior to the project being started. She was kind enough to resend the email containing my contract and photos JW had taken when I accidentally deleted it.
The day of installation, Monday May 6, 2024, Lawrence the foreman, Robert and Daryl showed up as scheduled. They were so friendly and professional in every way! 😊 They worked nonstop from 9 am till 1 pm until the job was done. Honestly, I have to give this crew šŸ’Æ respect for the job they do. I can’t imagine being under a crawlspace for hours in what looked like white hazmat suits, goggles and masks 😷 to protect themselves from the fiberglass. I am a recently retired nurse (RN) and was relieved to see them protecting themselves this way even though it had to be hot 🄵. When they arrived, I let Lawrence know that I had cold bottles of water and snacks for them. He thanked me, but said they had their own. I also offered for them to use the rest room when needed. I tried to stay out of their way while working as they were focused on getting the job done. After the job was done, I invited them into my home so I could make the final payment and thank them. Respectfully, Lawrence was hesitant as he didn’t want to track dirt into my home. I thanked him for his concern, but mentioned my carpet needs to be replaced soon, so no worries. I gave each of them a cold bottle of water with snacks and tipped each of them for their hard work šŸ˜“ If I could have afforded it, I would have given each of them $100 each. That’s how impressed I was with their work ethic and professionalism! 😊
    I recommend 58 Foundations and Waterproofing šŸ’Æ!
My heartfelt ā€œThank Youā€ for a job well done to KW, Nikkie, Lawrence, Robert and Daryl! 😊

Lawrence was extreamenly knowledgeable of being qualified to install our system in a professional manner. Under Lawrence's direction, his crew was able to complete the job in one day. He explained the system, how it was installed and explained thoroughly how the pump and alarm system worked together. We are very pleased with Lawrance, and his crew, for a job well done. We would recommend him again.

Johnnie Best and Lamar Riley did a great job in installing a new sump pump. Very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. 5 star!

I had had most pleasant experience with 58! I had numerous medical problems meeting with them and they were very understanding, plus when we got the job done in one day, it was terrific above and beyond what had expected I fully endorse them.

I was thoroughly impressed with the 58 Foundations crew from start to finish. Jim was an excellent representative who took the time to explain everything and didn’t try to upsell me at all. In fact I was the one asking him to increase the scope of work! (I’d had enough with the water issues and spending money on fixes that just weren’t enough.) He was also very helpful by letting me text him throughout the coordination of the start date and making sure I did the things necessary to let the install team get right to work. The install team, led by Jonathon, were so professional and thorough. They took the time to explain anything if I had questions. They were always on time and worked their full day. They communicated every afternoon about what they had completed that day and what they planned to accomplish the next day. They kept the demo mess organized and removed it quickly. They even helped me make sure I saved good wood that I could reuse for my staircase! I couldn’t be more happy with the whole process - and this was such hard work. They were also great at communicating with my electricians and my plumbers on site. I definitely recommend this company. Thank you to the whole team!

If you ever have the need for leaks or other foundation issues, don’t call anyone other than 58 Foundations. Nathan is outstanding and so very thorough in checking everything! Fortunately, foundation is not the issue but he not only located the issue but also told me what to do to correct it. I felt as if I were talking to a friend. Thank you so much, Nathan, for being awesome!

My experience with 58 Foundation was great. Lamar and Jason were professional and answered any questions I had. They allowed me to see the process and were just good people. Appreciate their work.

We were absolutely pleased with dealing with 58 Foundations from start to finish. Darryl's mold remediation/installation crew that included Michael and Terrell did a great, timely job and were super-communicative in updating us on progress and final recommendations.
The contracting team for the joist and floor replacement led by Wilbur (including Angel and a young man whose name I can't remember) were equally efficient and communicative.
Everyone was super-polite and attentive to our property. We were happy to have them in our home.

Darryl Duvelow and his crew did an outstanding job. Super nice, showed up on time and did a great job on my crawl space. I’m very pleased with the work they did!

58Foundations did work for my church in Sanford NC. They were absolutely wonderful from the office staff to Jonathan who came out to see what we needed and quoted us to the workers that actually did the work. They were always so nice and communicated with me very well. I would highly recommend them for any water issues you are having!!

Mason has just left my home having completed my annual maintenance check. He was very thorough and extremely proficient in explaining how he had found my system and how I could upgrade from my 5 year maintenance check to a lifetime maintenance to which I may consider doing.

Lawrence (Foreman), Robert & Daryl, came to do a two day install of our French Drain. Things went well and they were on top of their game despite 6 dogs and cats wondering what was going on. Were very neat and didn’t leave a mess. Of course the real review is if we never see any water ever again, in which case we will know it worked!

We had 58 foundations come to our home to fix a foundation issue in early 2024. The initial work was completed very sloppy; our crawlspace door was broken, our vapor barrier left up, and there was visible pressure pushing up on our kitchen floor from one of the pillars used to raise the foundation. I called and they "fixed" the door and I was told to give the house six months to settle before adjusting the pillars despite visible damage occurring to our kitchen floor. I naively went along with their knowledge. Six months go by and there is no improvement and I call back to have a readjustment, the kitchen was lowered 3/4 inch and the remaining three pillars by 1/4 inch. Fast forward to Spring 2025, we have significant issues along the flooring near every area a pillar sits. I call and am told a supervisor will come out; on the day of said appointment a regular worker arrives and states he was told by his boss that it was an adjustment. I informed him that I needed a different assessment as we have home damage related to the pillars. The worker goes under the house, takes photos, and comes back to tell my husband and I that due to the type of foundation we have the pillars that we placed aren't typically used and he called his boss in front of us to report. We were told a supervisor would be out in two days, that day comes and no one arrived. I call back and am told a regional supervisor will be out the following week. That day arrives and no one shows up. Since then, I have tried to contact the company on several occasions with no return call. We have significant subfloor damage requiring extensive work. I was advised by a lawyer to obtain the company's insurance information. No phone calls to local offices yielded results and when I contacted the company that my loan is through to obtain information I was given a "corporate number" out of Pennsylvania that when called rings to a personal cell phone for a person named Judy. Our home is a disaster thanks to this company and they can't be bothered to even address the issues that they caused. Be aware of this company!!!

58 Foundations, excellent communication starting with scheduling with Niki and Todd with the estimate, Todd did a thorough inspection and didn’t try to overestimate the job. Install crew Lawrence, Robert and Daryl very professional and respectful of my property. Went above and beyond. Addressed all of my concerns immediately. Left the job site neat and clean.
    Would definitely recommend to others.

Crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves and the foreman appeared knowledgeable on the encapsulation process. I had B-Dry install my crawl space water proofing system with sump pump 18 years ago so going with 58 Foundations was a logical step since they brought B-Dry. The one step in the process I think should change is 58 Foundations should come out after the electrician finished performing the electrical work necessary for the dehumidifier. The electrician was great but isn’t a 58 Foundation employee so I had to rely on the electrician to ensure the dehumidifier was setup and working properly. Having 58 Foundations do a final inspection to ensure the dehumidifier is working and setup properly would give the homeowner (such as myself who cannot go into the crawl space) a piece of mind that everything is working as expected. As it is right now I am assuming the dehumidifier is setup properly and working.

Johnny Best and crew members returned to extend the pipeline to the alley and tested the pump to the pop up to make sure water was flowing.
They did a great job and could not have been nicer!

I decided I want it back up batteries for my system. Johnnie Best Came to install them. He was neat and appearance very respectful and answered all my questions completely. All equipment needed was on hand. He was the most professional installer. I’ve met in a long time. I will not hesitate to call again if needed.

I had 58 Foundations give me an estimate. The project manager showed me a plan and it looked good except that the sump pump placement wasn't in the low spot of the crawl space. When I mentioned that to him, he told me that he had located the low spot and it was where he had decided to place the sump. I told him where all the water usually was after rain and he still said that the low spot was further up towards the front of the crawlspace. I kinda knew this wasn't correct, but I thought; "This guy is a pro and knows what he's talking about". Therefor, I let them do the work and install the sump where "they thought" the low area was. This cost right at $10,000. Months later, I was still having water get into the crawl space, both underneath and on top of the encapsulation. After two more visits from a crew member, I found out that they didn't install any drainage channel around the foundation due to foundation bases being too close to the walls and not enough space between ground and floor. They also told me that a second sump needed to be installed, you guessed it...right where I told the original guy that the low spot was. I had the second sump installed and that cost another $1,100. In addition to this, I was back and forth with the office on getting my payment right cause they over-charged me. Yes, I'm happy with the work that Jonathan & the crew did and I'm glad I got it done. In hindsight, I should have asked more questions and stuck to my guns in relation to where to locate the sump pump. I've lived in my home for 19 years, redone electrical and plumbing and I know a little about my house.
