Carolina Terrain to the rescue!!! We had been dealing with basement flooding for months and went through contractor after contractor until we came across Carolina Terrain! Not only did they find a solution to our problems, but did it with excellence and left our yard looking better than it was before. Highly recommend!
(The photos don’t do it justice. They had to dig up near our foundation to fix the problem. They graded and mulched and planted grass where the yard was dug up.)

Alex took time to understand my needs and suggested solutions. A very sloped and poorly draining side of my property was regraded with a gentle slope..river rock where needed and a great result was achieved. I will continue to work with this company to further improve the appearance of my 1+ acre lot

Carolina Terrain was phenomenal! We had a major drainage issue on the side of our home. Zach was great from day one when he visited and provided a solution to our problem. Zach knocked it out of the park with his crew and completed the job in under 3 days. No mess left behind and if our yard didn’t look so much better than it did before they showed up, I wouldn’t have known they were here. Zach explained everything in detail throughout the process and was very professional. Highly recommend Carolina Terrain for any drainage install or yard repairs.

Zach and the guys are great! We had a water drainage problem and entire crew not only fixed our issues but built a beautiful new retaining wall. The biggest thing I can say is that they treat your property as if it was their own!!! Thanks for a great job.

Carolina Terrain finished our landscaping project around our patio today. Antonio and Adrian worked tirelessly to dig through lots of Carolina clay to place our plants where we wanted them, to add drip irrigation in the beds and to finish it off with river rock! We are thrilled with the finished project and can't wait to enjoy our yard in the months to come. Many thanks to Alex and especially Zach for executing our plan flawlessly and offering suggestions that made it even better.

Alex and Zac are people you can hire without worry. When it comes time to hire a contractor to work on your home I know most people (me included) feel like you're rolling the dice. At no point during the process of working with Carolina Terrain did I feel that they were unprofessional and they have exceeded my expectations.

Either Alex or Zac would always tell me when they would be at my house and were always quick to answer a question though text or phone call when I had one. I have two dogs and a baby and they were always as courteous as they could be in giving me a heads up knowing that my son could be sleeping.

The work is exceptional and was completed quicker than I anticipated once it had begun. Any changes during the project (such as needing an extra load of dirt and gravel to level my yard better than originally planned) were always explained honestly and without the pressure of upselling that many contractors tend to do. I felt the cost of my project was extremely fair given the professionalism of the work, the quality of the materials used, and the knowledge and consideration of the crew. I will be hiring Carolina Terrain again for any future landscaping projects at my home.

Carolina Terrain did an excellent job removing old trees/shrubs and planting about 20-25 shrubs/plants as well as installing a drip line throughout our property. We were originally planning for a 2 day job but it was completed all within about 7 hours. Highly recommend them for their great work, promptness, and professionalism!

Everything about this project was perfect! From meeting with me to go over our plans to making recommendations and suggestions, scheduling, and even being able to come about a week early because they finished another job. They even fixed an irrigation issue caused by a different company that installed our patio! Zack and Alex are wonderful to work with! Knowing that they provide annual hardscape and drainage inspections plus maintenance/cleaning as an extra service is great to know. Today we received a customized plant care guide for all our new shrubbery.. they don’t miss a note!!

We had a fairly large project in our front yard: a large area for sod, hedges, and irrigation. Alex and Zac were punctual, communicative, and very knowledgeable. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process, and my husband and I are very pleased with the end result. I very much recommend them for any landscaping project.

I can feel their projects are well managed, even though it was Holiday season, the project proceeded exactly as defined in the web portal, project was well communicated, we discussed different options and they are reasonable price, also project was well done, results beyond my expectations. I definitely recommend Carolina Terrain for any landscaping plans. We are very happy with the hedge they designed and planted for us. They kept us updated with the HOA request for the work and even followed up after the work has been completed. They make it easy to maintain the plants as well. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Carolina Terrain! We had a large backyard project that involved removing 26 trees in total. Alex and his team helped transform our backyard from an area of weeds and dirt to a wide open yard with the greenest grass we’ve seen since we moved in. Alex was easy to communicate with and helped create the plan we wanted. Uriel and his team at Brothers Tree service did an excellent job removing all of our trees. JP and his crew were fantastic at executing the plan with grading, and putting down soil and seed. We will be using them again for our future projects!

Carolina Terrain did an excellent job with our backyard landscaping. Zach, Alex, Adrian and Antonio worked very hard to install the plant material, white river rock, landscape fabric, aluminum edging, a drip line throughout and downspout drainage, to transform our yard into an outdoor space that we will enjoy for years to come! We had a great experience working with Carolina Terrain on our landscaping project. The crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional and expertly removed existing plants and replaced our pine needles with brown mulch. Their work was excellent, and our landscape looks fantastic. Special shout out to Zack whose leadership and strong work ethic motivated his entire team.

We are so happy with our new sod installed by Carolina Terrain! Alex and his team were very responsive and professional throughout the entire process, from estimates to weekly follow ups. The entire lawn was redone in one day; they work very efficiently and clean up so well you wouldn’t even know they were there. They not only installed new sod by regraded the property and installed piping for proper drainage. Can’t be happier with the results and we highly recommend!
