JH Landscapes did a great job cutting up, stacking the wood from a huge tree that had fallen in my back yard. Very reasonable. Efficient. Showed up on time. Other companies were not interested in the job due to the fallen tree being on a steep slope.
I would definitely hire them again.

Justin and his team did an excellent job on grading our uneven backyard, installing sod and sprinkler system to that area of our yard. We were very pleased with their efficiency, timeliness and communication. We also got other quotes and his was better than the others for the same work. We will be using JH Landscapes for any future outdoor work and highly recommend!

I've used 'JH Landscapes' services for several years and have never been disappointed! Those services range from paver replacement to grass rejuvenation leading to a thicker, greener lawn, as well as bush replacement.

JH Landscapes built a garden wall, built a couple of tree rings, and did some drainage work for us. The crew did outstanding work. Justin and the crew were easy to work with and pleasant to talk to. I appreciate how the crew focused on getting it right vs getting it done. The materials they used were top notch. They were super professional and did a great job of keeping the job site clean while working. The result of their work is a transformed front yard with a wow look! I highly recommend this company.

Justin and his crew are very quality-conscious and did a wonderful job. They tore down an existing retaining wall, and then built us a new one with the installation of proper drainage system for our back yard. The clean-up was great, too. All in all, it was beyond our expectations.

Short version: you can stop looking around, this is who you want.

Long version: Justin and his team were a fantastic find for my large project - a redesign of the beds in my front yard, additional privacy plant installations, fencing for the backyard, landscaping lighting throughout, some hardscaping, and a ton of cleanup - large tree pruning, etc. I made my initial call and Justin was able to come by the same day to hear about the project. Within a couple days, I had detailed plans, designs, and pricing. The quote was organized line by line and made it easy to understand incremental cost of different asks, which let us make smart tradeoffs and get the most out of our planned budget. This organization and fast turnaround was thematic throughout the project.

Execution of the project: smooth and to plan - I always knew what was happening and when. Particularly impressive was how clean and buttoned up the team left the house at the end of every day. Watching everything come together, we could tell the team takes quality seriously. Also of note, on a few occasions, my wife or I changed our mind from that original plan, and Justin was eager to help talk through and adapt to these updates.

The end product is stunning and functional, easily clearing all of our initial expectations.

Justin and his team are busy, so it took a bit of time (a week or two) from my initial call until his first available appointment to come take a look. I was skeptical about the time elapsed but Justin was right on time for the initial appointment and he was great about communicating throughout the process. He sent professional proposals for several different scopes of work we'd discussed (including plans to submit to our HOA), set expectations for when the work would commence and sent a crew that executed the final plan efficiently, courteously, on time and according to plan.

I too have experienced the same issues with this contractor. I could not believe the amount of money he tried to charge me. Justin should reevaluate his pricing.

JH Landscapes did a beautiful job on our front landscape bed. The owner, Justin is easy to work with, thorough, detailed and with fair competitive pricing. I hired them back a second time for shrub and perennial planting and weed control. Highly recommend, excellent work!

Our first experience with the company. We had many large shrubs trimmed and shaped. We’re completely satisfied with the work, pricing and professional services. We also have several ornamental trees that need trimming but per Jason’s advice, we will wait on this until later in the year. Other companies we contacted wanted to do both the shrubs and trees now without regard to the health of the trees. Thanks for great service!

JH landscaping was excellent to work with. Justin provided us with a great plan for our front landscape beds and his team completed a thorough trimming and tree clean up in our backyard. The team also extended our concrete driveway. The expected timeline was met, the work was great and cleanup was stellar. We would definitely use JH Landscapes again.

I give this company a one. Before I move forward I will explain that they did not perform work on my house but they did provide a quote.
I requested a quote for a deck from this company. I provided plans and they issued a quote. I’ve come to accept that quotes vary by contractor depending on the area you live in. I’m used to the price hike.
I received a quote from this company that was astronomical, $79,999.00 for a deck to be redone and enclosed. Materials would cost less than $10,000.00. However, they likely have most if not all of the materials on hand. Labor would be less than 10,000. They would make a $60,000 profit. These are my “guesstimates”.
Nevertheless, they came in at the highest amount by double the amount when comparing quotes. And the employee or the owner had the audacity to text me today following up on this quote, on a Sunday.
Have some respect for people’s time and message during the weekdays.
Nevertheless, this is my experience with this company. Do with it what you will.

**I have to amend this review. Ever since I submitted this review I have been getting a lot of unsolicited phone calls, text messages and emails. It seems that Justin, the owner of this company, has placed my information on the internet in a malicious attempt to violate my privacy. Why do I say it’s him? Not only did I start receiving these solicitations after this review posted but it’s the email I used. He is the only one that had this email for a business purpose. It’s also because of the name I used with him. These are the identifiers.
If you give Justin a bad review he certain he’ll retaliate. I will be sure to use a separate number the next time I contact a contractor.

If I was a future customer I would absolutely get more than one quote before deciding to be your customer.
Not to mention I have numerous text messages from you harassing me and pleading with me to remove the review. As I told you via text message you should have thought about having a conversation prior to showing how rude and unprofessional you are.

The entire experience with JH Landscapes was professional and amazing from day 1. Any question or request was immediately answered. Not only can we not say enough great things about the JH team, our neighbors even complimented how neatly they maintained the equipment and supplies on the street, and how little of a disruption it was while they were here. If you are contemplating any kind of landscaping work, do yourself a favor and work with JH landscaping. You won't be disappointed!
