Outstanding service!! I had Atkins electric install new wiring in my house when we added on a few rooms back in 2009. 15 years later, they came out and installed two fans, moved a pesky wire out of the way, and installed new wiring for my older bathroom. Their service was just as outstanding now as it was in 2009. On time, respectful, and hard working! This is why they are a five star company!

Sorely disappointed in this company.
We hired a company to do some work and they contract with CB Atkins to do their electric work. The foreman on the job told me on Tuesday morning that electricians would come out Wednesday morning to do the work. By early afternoon he was able to let me know they would be there by 8:30.
That evening, I get a text from the electric company (no company name given or name of person contacting me) confirming they’d have access to the locations of my house they needed to complete their job the next day (no time provided). I advised they would and I confirmed they would still be coming at 8:30 as advised by the foreman. They confirmed.
Fast forward to the next morning, I get a call from the electrician just before 8 saying they were on the way and would be there in about 30 minutes (no company name given, no name of the person to which I’m speaking provided). I confirmed I’d be there.
They show up 30 minutes later - no good morning, no how are you, didn’t even tell me their names, just said “Hey, we need to access your electrical panel.”
They spent about an hour coming in and out of the house. The unlocked and walked out the back door at one point and never locked it back up. Then they told me they were done and they left. They did not explain what work they completed or even tell me they labeled the electrical panel for me, I saw that for myself.
When the foreman came by for their mid morning check in, I asked if they knew the names of the electricians that were there and mentioned they never told me their names. They told me their names were Sam and Derek.
There was nothing wrong with the work they did, but I was very put off by their interactions with me. Never has anyone come to my home for a service and not AT MINIMUM tell me for whom they work. These guys didn’t say who they were, who they worked for and couldn’t even squeeze out a good morning.
I called CB Atkins Electric today to provide them feedback after speaking to the company I hired and getting their company name. I should not have even been surprised that the person who answered the phone did not identify themselves. I told them what happened and the lady (who told me later she’s part owner) was very apologetic at first. I mentioned the text I got was the most professional correspondence and she let me know she sent that out but didn’t know who was coming out the next day which is why she didn’t provide names. She THEN tried to turn it around on the company I hired and said she’d communicate with them to make sure in the future they provided me with all the information I needed. Seeing as they told me the day and time the electricians were coming, weren’t on site when the electricians arrived and only knew the electricians names because they worked with them before, the company I hired was not the issue. I made this clear to her and made it clear I’d already spoken to the company I hired about the issue with her company as well.
If you want to hire professionals that act and speak as such, steer clear of CB Atkins Electric.
