I recently hired Ace Tree Services to remove a tree, including stump grinding, and they did an exceptional job! From start to finish, they were prompt and professional, and I can't recommend them enough for any of your tree-related needs. What impressed me the most was their use of a lightweight spider lift, which meant I didn't have to worry about a heavy crane causing damage to my driveway. Overall, Ace Tree Services exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Beyond impressed with Doug and his team! My husband and I recently moved to Avon Lake and the trees in our yard needed some help (we needed two trees removed, stumps grinded and several trees trimmed and manicured). I met with Doug on a Friday to discuss the scope of the job and at the start of the very next week, the job was completed, and he personally followed up to ensure my customer satisfaction. His team arrived on time and they were very professional and left my yard very clean and tidy!

Doug and his staff at Ace Tree Service did a great job at our home yesterday. Showed up as promised and removed three large trees from our property, You would not even know they had been there the cleanup was good , And the price was great as well !! Highly recommend Ace Tree and Doug and his staff!

Had Doug and his team out to take care of 3 large maple trees. One needed removed the others trimmed. Lots of positives with the experience. Very friendly, professional, and great communication. They did an excellent job not tearing up the yard and they didn't leave a mess. Project was completed quickly and pricing was fair. Definitely will keep them in mind for any future tree maintenance I need!

Doug and Ace Tree Service were great to work with, very reasonably priced, and professional. They worked fast and left the job site clean. Once the big oak in my front yard started leafing out, I spotted a large dead branch overhanging my driveway. Years before twice a tree branch had fallen in a storm and taken out my electric and cable wires, so the branch removal felt urgent to me, though realistically I didn't expect a quick response given that all the tree service trucks are working everywhere right now. I called Ace because I observed the work they did on a neighbor's stand of trees. Doug (owner) came by within 24 hours, emailed me a quote, and within 3 days they removed the limb, as well as another I hadn't even spotted. There's nothing better than good communication when you are trying to hire a contractor; Doug calls, texts, and emails timely. I will absolutely call Ace again.

I've been an Avon Lake resident for 20 years and recently had my third occasion to hire Ace Tree Service. Communication is always excellent and prices always reasonable. Doug and his crew are knowledgeable and never disappoint. Not only do they do a great job on the trees but they clean up nicely too. The yard always looks wonderful when they pull away. It's so satisfying to do business with a company that still possesses a strong work ethic and commitment to workmanship.

Ace stands by their name. They did a tremendous job with the three large trees plus a fourth one to trim. They were punctual and when they were finished, you didn’t even know they were there. The owner Doug met me at the door was very friendly as well as the rest of his team that he was working with. I highly recommend them.

Ace Tree Service has removed and trimmed several medium to large trees (pines, birch, locust) at our home in the past two years. All trees (25-45 feet tall) were fairly close to our house in mulch beds. Ace also removed 3 stumps, without leaving behind significant piles of wood chips. Great experiences from estimates through final payments. The entire team is professional and does great work! Highly recommend.

These guys are first class. They did a beautiful job on my trees. Major trimming after I moved into my home and the older trees haven’t been cared for in years. The their cleanup was spectacular. There wasn’t a leaf or limb to be found anywhere. Super grateful for the five star service.!

Doug and his Team are absolutely amazing! We had massive trees in our backyard whose giant branches were just getting too big to dangle over our garage, etc. - but had never used a tree service before. We contacted Ace and Doug, the owner, was there - offering sage advice, listening intently to our cares and concerns - and taking the time to offer varied solutions. No high pressure, just calm, friendly professionalism. Years of experience in the industry, as we came to find out, really shows. His proposal was sent quickly and was more than fair - and we scheduled the work. His team showed up right on time - and went right to work. These guys were INCREDIBLE! We were fascinated, watching them go to work like the professional army they are. They stayed until not only all the work was done, but the yard was cleaned up and everything was MORE than beyond our expectations. Ace tree Service cut down 3 trees in my back yard and grind the stumps to them as well. They came in a quick and timely fashion. Price was great and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend them again and if I ever need trees cut down I will definitely contact Ace Tree Service’s.

We could not be happier with this company. They were a recommendation from a neighbor. Doug was quick to respond, came the same day to look at the tree, and gave an estimate the next day! Everything was extremely quick, easy, and affordable! We are beyond happy with the work Doug and his team did. Would highly recommend them and would use them in the future.

The ACE tree men were a pleasure to work with. They were efficient, dependable and left no trace they were here. Our tress were trimmed exactly as we discussed and we couldn’t be happier with their service.

On Wednesday at 1:30pm, we had a tree limb start to break and come down on our garage. Called Doug at Ace and he was over promptly. He quoted a fair estimate and had a crew over first thing Thursday. They were prompt and professional and handled the tree limb removal quickly and were very clean.

We highly recommend Ace. Both trees we have had removed were in tricky places. The spider allows good access in tight spots and does not damage the grass. They did a good job of cleaning up and seemed to finish pretty quickly.
