Matt with L&M came out on a Sunday after a tree fell on my house the night before. He understood that it was an emergency with rain in the forecast the next couple of days, so he and his crew were out at 8am on Monday. They did a fantastic job. His entire crew was very polite and hard working. I highly recommend this company!

They were prompt. Their prices were fair. They were very nice people and easy to work with.
We had them remove a lot of trees, and then remove all of that wood as well as other wood around our property. We also had them grind a lot of stumps all around our property.
We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

In December of 2024 we had L&M Tree Service take a large maple tree down in our front Yard. After getting three quotes on the cost of taking it down. L&M gave us the best quote in fact they beat the other two by quite a lot of money including grinding the large stump. I will most definitely call L&M tree service if I ever need another large tree taken down. They were not only very curtious but professional in the complete way they took the tree down. Completed the task in one day and cleaned up the yard as if they were never there. You will not ever go wrong by using L&M Tree Service.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but after receiving such wonderful service from L&M, I wanted to share our experience with them. I called them and my call was answered by Brittany in the office who was so friendly and accommodating. I told her that we needed 2 large limbs removed before a shed was to be delivered. It turned out that the shed was delivered a day early and was put in its place right underneath the limbs that needed to be removed. Luke came out promptly and carefully removed both limbs that were in a tricky spot hanging over the new shed. He did an excellent job! Luke is very knowledgeable about what he does and such a kind young man. He took great care of us and we will definitely recommend him to anyone we know who needs a good tree service. You don't have to worry about the kind of a job you'll get with L&M, they are awesome! Thank you Luke!

Unbelievably productive and professional. Matt come over for an estimate the day after I reached out to him. They had the absolute best price by far (5k less than barberton!!!) so I immediately made an appointment with them. They removed a giant dead maple, and trimmed 4 trees and it took them less than 4 hours. Seriously unbelievable and it looks SO GOOD. I 100% recommend them!!

Also they're very punctual. He said they'd arrive at 7:30 and they arrived at exactly 7:30 on the dot

I had a HUGE Elm tree (60 - 75 ft.) on my property close to a main road that had died & began to split. I contacted L&M and spoke with Matt, who was very professional & responded quickly to my property for an estimate. Price was very reasonable! Once service was scheduled, the crew arrived on the appointed day & on time. Extremely friendly & updated me on how they were going to tackle this tree with attention not only for my property but for my neighbors as well & public safety was at the forefront. After the tree was taken down, clean-up began. The clean-up process was so meticulous, you couldn't even tell that they had been there other than the huge tree missing. I definitely would recommend this company for any tree removal services you may need....no matter how BIG the project!

Wow, I cannot say enough great things about these guys. Last year, they came out and removed two massive 100 ft tall maple trees that were right next to our house. Last week we had them come out and cut down two more trees. Both times they left the yard looking better than it was before they got there. They are very thoughtful about using matting to traverse heavy equipment across the yard. L & M should be at the top of your list if you’re considering any tree work!!

These guys trimmed our two big Oak trees last week. They did a really good job - not just the trimming, but also the cleanup. I have to tip my had to the men on your crew, working through the cold temps, with a foot of snow on the ground.

Barberton Tree Service has been out to our house for two separate projects. We had them out last spring to trim a large tree in our front yard and a small tree in the backyard. We were so impressed with how nice the trees looked and the no mess they left behind, we decided to hire them again. We had a large dead maple in our backyard that was surrounded by a deck. This time they had to bring their large equipment into our yard. They made sure to do as little damage as possible. Justin, the crew leader advised me our (old) wooden walkway and deck might take a beating. In the end the deck took no damage and only a few walkway boards were broken. (This happened when they had to drive their truck over our driveway and through our yard.) The crew was very mindful in keeping our yard as nice as possible. They laid down large tarps and for it being a pretty wet day, our yard still looks great! The team left absolutely no mess, not even a stray leaf was on the ground. Would absolutely hire Barberton Tree Service again and will recommend them to anyone who is asking!

Needed a small patch of brush and a few trees removed from my property. Barberton Tree Service gave a competitive quote and a 10/10 job! PJ and his crew were professional and did a fantastic job! I would recommend to anyone.

I started this review and didn't finish it. My next door neighbor had a huge tree removed today. It's an older (Highland Square) neighborhood and rather cramped. The workers today were professional, courteous, competent and organized. My neighbor is out of the country and the only trace of BTS being in her yard was the cut tree! Highly recommend this company, plus they're amazing to watch!!

UPDATE: I'd like to update that Barberton Tree has since reached out to my dad (and me) and are taking care of my parents' side yard. We appreciate their communication and plan of action put in place. It says a lot about the company that they are working so hard to correct this for them!!!

Barberton Tree came to the neighbor of my parents' house after the big wind storm on Friday, March 13th. They asked if the shredder could be put in my parents' driveway to be closer to the tree they were working on. My dad readily agreed and gave permission with assumption the crew would have the equipment on the cement driveway. Unfortunately, that is not what happened and the yard between the driveway and the tree was torn up. It appears that this crew did not plank the yard and just drove their equipment on the yard.
My dad reached out to the company in hopes they would assist in the repair of the damage, but they didn't respond to his communication and did not repair the damage.
This was a disappointment to my dad and to us and feel it was not professional.

Great experience with Barberton Tree clearing a very large City of Akron tree that fell on my property after a windstorm. The team- Cody, Joey and Jill- were professional and cleaned up the area. They took care when removing the tree as it was resting on a vehicle. Thank you for making a stressful situation easier to deal with.

What a great job ! Jason and Jesse and their crews did a fantastic job. Huge tree on hill right behind my house gone. No leaves or branches on roof or in yard. Also trimmed a few branches by powere lines and above my garage... perfect. Adrianne gave me a price THOUSANDS less than what I anticipated. Great experience all around !

We had a very large job with Old Growth oaks and maples that we not only wanted to save but encourage growth for the next century. There was plenty of pruning, removal and shaping on all varieties of Northeast Ohio Forest species.

Guys did a superb job! The Crew Chief was very Professional was his entire Team.

Every step of the way was Professional and exuded Experience, Knowledge and Capability. This included the initial conversation with Mike Andy, the jobsite planners/estimators, the work crew and back-office staff.

We made a significant investment in our home property and are pleased by the great job done by Barberton Tree.

From the phone call at the beginning to set up an estimate, all the way to removal, we have been treated with professionalism and kindness throughout.
The crew who came out was friendly, organized and professional. They worked hard and fast to get the job done, they cleaned up after themselves and thanked us on their way out. They even blew all the excess leaves from the roof, gutters and the lawn.
They didn't charge more than estimated either. Great company.

Rory and his crew (see pics) were friendly, did a great job removing two pine trees that were in a very precarious and narrow spot between electrical wires and two houses on city lots. They communicated well, skillfully navigated around the wires and houses with precision work, cleaned up afterwards and gave us a great show! Thank you so much! Would definitely use them again.
