They came out right away and were able to help! Very professional, fair and honest and knowledgeable! We had our A/C go while out town and needed a whole new furnace (blower went). Service was top notch. A few months later, we needed a new hot water tank and used them again. Highly recommend! Plus they shared some tips and tricks to keep things running smoothly.

I use them for Hot water tanks, heating and cooling. They are honest and fairly priced. I have referred them to friends and family and everyone has been very happy with the work.

Awesome! In one word that is how I would sum it up. AC unit was acting up on Sunday, I called another place on Sunday and left a message, Monday morning I had not heard anything from the other place, called D & R and said maybe that day, but called me less than 3 hours later and said he had time in between jobs, came fixed the problem right away, for an excellent price and made sure everything was working. Would highly recommend them. (About an hour after he left I got a call back from the other place.)

I recently moved to the area and I've found my go to HVAC service. Don was polite, helpful on the phone before coming out on the same day to look at my furnace. He doesn't milk the time, or try to upsell on an expensive repair. I think he's a one man shop. So leave a voicemail and be a little patient for him to call you back. I highly recommend for service or even a second opinion if another service tells you that you need an expensive repair or a whole new furnace.

I called D and R at 11:57pm on a Friday night and he called me back at 12:10am. Incredibly quick call back. He was willing to come to my house within the hour, but I said the morning was fine. Great service. I'll post more after the job is done.

I realized I never posted an update. He came early on Saturday and
fixed my furnace. Great service. I will use him again

I recently called Heart of Ohio to install 2 kitchen faucets sets, check 2 toilets that were running and another toilet with flushing issues.
The charge was $946.80 for no more than 4 hrs time spent. I supplied the faucets sets. The only parts supplied by the technician were 2 flappers. He also augured out one toilet which took little time.
Without asking, he changed the water level in 2 toilets. I chose 1.6 gpf toilets for a reason. Now there's about 2 cups of water in the toilet bowls which makes them hard to clean and we have to double flush.
I also received a quote for electrical work @$1,435, over $500 more than another electrician's quote.
I called the office about the plumbing bill. Doing the math, the charge was about $231/hour. That's high. The man on the phone said he would ask the manager to call the next day. That was over a week ago and no return call. All I want now is to have the water level in my toilets returned to the original setting at no charge because I didn't ask for or authorize that. The expensive bill is a lesson learned.
We were satisfied BERS customers for years but at the prices Heart of Ohio is charging, I can't justify hiring them again. LS

Update. Some months later, a very kind and diligent customer service rep from Heart of Ohio sent a plumber out to fix the water level in my toilets. He said nothing could be done. I've since watched a video on YouTube and did the fix myself. It indeed could be done.

Love Heart of Ohio - BERs HVAC services. They send a reminder for appointments and let you know when they are on their way. I have them for seasonal checks in the spring and fall. Keep my home cool in the summer and warm in the winter! Highly recommend.

Had my braker box repaired. Fair price for the work. However, the electrician failed to replace the tag on the meter after completing the work.

I am an older, single, female homeowner, and have dealt with my fair share of shady contractors. Over the years I have learned how to spot and deal with them fairly well, but it's always a concern whenever I have to find contractors to work on my house.

With that being said, I can't praise and recommend highly enough the excellent service I have received from Heart of Ohio. I own an old house (130 years old) with many complicated plumbing issues, and their plumber, Zach, has been wonderful to work with. He really knows his stuff and has solved plumbing issues in this house that several past plumbers couldn't, and I am so thankful to have found him and this company.

I also contracted with this company to have a replacement wall furnace installed in my upstairs apartment, and all went well with that project, too. James answered all my questions about the furnace and gave me a fair price estimate for the installation. There was a slight delay in the shipment of the furnace from its California manufacturer, but Heart of Ohio installed it as soon as it arrived and handled the whole interruption smoothly.

I have a few more plumbing jobs to complete before I am finally finished with all the work that has to be done on this old house. I am fully confident that Heart of Ohio will bring this long-standing plumbing nightmare to a satisfying conclusion.
