Had a circuit out due to a nearby lightning strike. Tom quickly found the problem, which turned out to be more than just a destroyed breaker. Grateful for the quick diagnosis and repair to get us back to normal. Will have no hesitation in calling Heart of Ohio again for any repairs or projects.

When our air conditioning broke just before a heat wave was in the weather forecast, we were able to get an appointment the same day. Unfortunately our HVAC was very old and the recommendation was to replace it. The technician talked through all the options and provided estimates with no high pressure sales tactics. We were able to take the weekend to decide then make a plan to get it replaced in a couple weeks and a band aid repair the following business day. The installation went quickly and smoothly. The technicians went over the new equipment with us and cleaned up before they left. I am very happy with the service we received and grateful for the quick turnaround.

Recently used Heart of Ohio for furnace service and couldn’t have been happier. The tech arrived on time, ran equipment and air quality tests (which I had not expected).
He suggested some additional work on my 20 year old system. He provided pictures and took the tome to explain what he did and suggested. No pressure, just information and assistance.

Alex has been serving my mom’s furnace for many years and has kept my old furnace and AC units running. Since we bought this house 4 years ago they have dealt with birds flying down the chimney and causing damage to lining and capping that same chimney to prevent it from happening again. Their work is always beyond excellent. It’s truly an honor to do business with them.

Our finished basement was always too cold for comfort. We called the HEART OF OHIO guys, and they promptly sent one of their technicians out to discuss our needs. We were very pleased with the installation process and now a warm basement to entertain our Bible study groups and family gatherings. We remain very pleased.

Broken kitchen sink disposal at 10:00 on a Sunday morning. Dirty water dumped all over kitchen floor, sink and dishwasher unusable. Called the emergency number, a real human was on the line in 30 seconds and gave me pricing options based on how quickly I wanted service. (ASAP!) A technician called 5 minutes later and gave me some details about the one emergency job ahead of ours, including an ETA and the uncertainty around that estimate. He then called me from that other job, said he’d finished a little earlier than expected, and he’d see us in 50 minutes. He had a replacement disposal on his truck. Problem fully solved by 3:00pm. A++

Our furnace stopped working one evening during a stretch of very cold weather. I called Heart of Ohio, and the customer service representative took my information. She said that a technician would be in touch shortly. Within 20 minutes, the technician called, and he said that he could be there in about 45 minutes. He arrived on time and resolved the problem (a blocked condensate trap) very quickly. We were very pleased with the service and the rapid response.

Lost heat the day after a holiday, heart of Ohio sent someone out the same day! Was supposed to come out late day but got bumped up to earlier! Alex came out and was very courteous and professional and had us back up and running in under an hour. Alex explained exactly what the issue was and how to maintain the furnace so as to avoid future potential problems. Would definitely recommend! Glad they are local, will use again!

Had an issue with heat pump not working correctly late on a Sunday evening. Called Heart of Ohio and received a call back within minutes at 10:45 pm!! Talked us thru issue and sent a technician over at 9am following day. Alex did a thorough inspection inside house and outside and our heat pump is running great!! He also gave us recommendations to help during these frigid days .

Heart of Ohio had recently bought out Huge but has now been bought out by Haven Services according to our technician who arrived an hour early while no one was home. Regardless as of 2/5/26 their “system switched” so the $75 clean and check we were quoted on 2/4/26 was now $175. After the service the tech gave a sales pitch to my wife on maintenance packages and full furnace replacement options. Additionally the tech changed the thermostat from 71 to 73 and never set it back when he was done which wasn’t noticed for 4 days. After years of great service from Huge I will be looking elsewhere for our HVAC needs in the Spring.

Coldest wi ter in years. My furnace was barely working. Had a service tek come out. He was honest with me about the condition of my 25 year old furnace. I decided to have it replaced. They cane out next day and replaced my furnance They were nice and friendly and showed me the new thermostat and how it worked. Great company would recommend them to anyone needing repair or new furnance.

Technician called ahead to give me an estimated arrival time and was here within the service window. Company vehicle was nicely detailed with who he represented. Was in uniform and introduced himself and explained why he was there. Technician was very thorough with the scheduled maintenance and showed me the parts he was cleaning. Took great care of my hot water tank and furnace. Very professional and respected my home. Customer service representative was very courteous and easy to understand when scheduling my appointment. Overall was very happy with the service and value provided.

Today I had a great visit from Scott, a technician representing Haven, formerly Heart of Ohio. The occasion was an annual cleaning and tune up of my furnace (which they installed just a few years ago). It’s always a relief to hear that every thing looks good. The extra value I received from today’s call was an explanation of furnace filters and how they affect the efficiency of my equipment. As homeowners, we make a large investment in environmental mechanics that we rely on to produce comfort in our homes. I’ve been a homeowner for over 40 years. Not once have I learned about this inexpensive part that I replace frequently during the year. Scott delivered the news in a customer centric manner that was respectful as well as informative. And here I’ve believed that the high tech, ultra filtration filters were working for me. Remember this dear reader-MERS 5 rating. I plan to be a satisfied customer for a long time.
