I’ve owned my home for three years now, and transforming our yard has been quite the journey! With the help of A Cut Above the Rest, we’ve taken down trees, laid new grass, and created a beautiful outdoor space that not only enhances our home but has also become the envy of the neighborhood.

I often see neighbors stopping them in our driveway, asking for advice and even a quick peek at their yard while they are out fertilizing mine.

Thanks to their expertise, we now have the best yard on the street, and my husband has developed a bit of an obsession with keeping it looking perfect. The dedication and hard work from A Cut Above the Rest is evident; we don’t have a single dandelion in sight!

While the owner is incredibly friendly on the phone, the actual services were not up to par and communication was very poor. They did about 30 minutes worth of work for a “spring cleanup” but I think took advantage of our small yard - flower beds were still full of leaves, sticks, etc., shrubs were not trimmed, didn’t complete many of the services quoted. They cut an ornamental grass down, did some minimal leaf blowing then called it a day. I was so shocked to see they left so quickly that I contacted the owner to see what was going on with the services that were quoted. Even more shocked when they said they completed the job in that 30ish minutes. Owner offered to have his crew come back out to finish the job properly and I honestly just went with another company to save myself the back and forth and additional hassle.

Gerald and his team were awesome! They did an absolutely excellent job with our spring cleanup, edging and mulching - almost didn’t look like it was ours! We’re looking forward to continuing to work with them on a regular basis going forward. Great communication, advice and service!

Our mower broke so we just needed our grass mowed. I called them and they were able to schedule me right away. They provided quick and easy service, were great at communication, and my lawn looks amazing! Their prices are way more affordable than other companies I’ve called. Will definitely use them again!

A Cut Above the Rest is fantastic! We’ve never done anything to our yard (except mow) until last Fall. We decided to invest in the yard and we’re so happy. The slow release treatment in the Fall worked great. The lawn came in beautiful. We just had a crabgrass treatment and look forward to seeing those results. Oh, and no dandelions this year!!! Not a weed in sight.

They cleared out my front yard. Removed dead bushes and shrubs and got alot of nasty weeds out. Trimed my trees and shrubs. They were fast and cleaned up nice. Very happy and easy to work with.

The crew did a great job from start to finish. From planning to execution, the communication was excellent. They were attentive to what we wanted but also displayed a level of creativity that was necessary. Overall it was an excellent experience.
