Lee is great. He does a wonderful job. He's very friendly, knowledgeable and answers any questions you have. He always calls beforehand to let us know when he's coming out, just like we asked him to do. He's very accommodating. We've had Meehan's for awhile. We've been happy with them.

I've been a customer of Meehan's Lawn Service since moving to Independence in 2021. I've been consistently satisfied with their lawn fertilization and weed control services, particularly the recent work done by tech Jim.

We have been working with Fred for many years now and he is great to work with. He answers our questions and responds when we have any issues or concerns. He is very knowledgeable and we feel confident with the way he takes care of our shrubs and trees.

Scott was exceptional. He appreciated my urgency. Did the Weed Spray within about 10 minutes of me approaching him in his truck!

My neighbors lawn looks a lot better and we have the same service. After 3 yrs it looks the same. The neighbors across the street do not have lawn care and it looks like a golf course. I do pay more than $500/yr to get my lawn into excellent shape and yet it has proven to be looking the best. I like Meehan’s,however, I may go back to doing it myself as they can’t provide me with the best quality of work in my lawn care

I assume Fred did shrub beds and trees. I saw somebody in front of my house (Ring cam) so I assume that was Fred. He probably did a very good job, but (and I cannot stress this enough), if I wasn’t present to see Fred doing the work, I can only assume that he did a good job. Unless I witness the service, this rating is effectively meaningless.

Meehan’s Lawn Service has been taking care of me for the past several years and my lawn looks great! LEE my lawn tech is always shows respect for my property and provides great attention to spot treat weeds.
Meehan’s is pricey but definitely worth it and I have zero plans on shopping!!!!

Mario did a fabulous job on our property. After fertilizing I was impressed that he took the time to use a blower and blow all the fertilizer on the concrete back into the lawn. Great job done and appreciated.

Isaiah did a great uniform fertilizer spread on our yard! He had also came out to check out a couple brown spots previously on our front yard.

Top notch lawn service with excellent customer support and technicians that really take the time and make the effort to satisfy the customer. I have been using this Lawn Service for over 15 years and I highly recommend them for outstanding service and results! Adrian who came out yesterday did an outstanding job in product application and follow up documentation.

Fred is great. He always leaves a newsletter covering current pests and issues he is encountering in the area. He tells us what he has done to treat the issue and lets us know if there is anything we should be doing or watching for in our landscape.

We have been using Meehan’s Lawn Fertilizer service for several years and have been very pleased with results. Our lawn is much greener and healthy than our neighbors and I am writing this in late November. Our application tech, Luis Vega, is very conscientious and respectful of our flower beds and garden. He even picks up our dogs toys before each application. He also blows the excess fertilizer back on the lawn from our sidewalk and driveway. I recommend Meehan’s and Luis for anyone interested.

Tom (A1 Landscape & Design) proved to be professional, reliable, incredibly talented, and one of the hardest (and speediest!) workers we have had the pleasure to meet. We are absolutely blown away by the transformation of our yard.

Punctual professional exceeds expectations

A1 Landscape & Design is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to transform their backyard into a complete outdoor living experience. Tom came out & gave us a quote on a total redo including a backyard regrade, illuminated waterfall koi pond with filtration system, paver patio with accent lighting, irrigation system & a beautiful mature Redbud tree for shade & ambiance. We found the price reasonable & after decided to go with his company. I am very happy we did. He delivered as promised & was prompt & profession throughtout. We had our Cummins generator installed in September of 2025. The Hughes Group did a great job and were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our generator is set to run a test every other Tuesday for about 15 minutes at 2 pm and it has done so faithfully every week since installation. The best test however was this past Friday- March 13th- when our power went out from 5 pm Friday until 10:30 pm on Saturday. Our generator worked like a charm. It was wonderful. We were the only ones on our street with power. It felt so good to not have to worry about our electric being out. We live in Geauga county so when we have no power we have no water. It is awful. Purchasing this generator was the best money we have ever spent. I debated the purchase for awhile before going forward with it but I’m so glad we did. If you are considering the purchase of a whole house generator please call P J Hughes company for an estimate. You will be glad you did.
