Constraction reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

The best flooring in town! We have twice has JR Mendez come in to repair work done by other contractors that did not allow water to drain properly in showers. They communicate clearly on timeline, are upfront with cost, and very efficient. We have already started talking about the next project!

Had 500sqft of engineered hardwood installed in the attic. Great communication, prices, quality, efficient. Everything was great. Highly recommend this family business for your flooring needs. Thanks Ramon, Jordan, and team.

We had a plumbing repair recently and needed someone to patch in new tile in our basement laundry room. Everything was complete within a week of contacting them. They were able to quote the job within a few days of being called and completed the work just a few days later. Very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended and will be who I call first for any additional work.

Excellent job done in both our kitchen and bathroom! This crew was quick and worked extremely hard to get the job done well. We are in love!

It was a such a pleasure working with these gentlemen!!! Very hard working and do a fantastic job!!! I'm really glad we got to meet them and spend some time with them. If we need any more tile work they'll be the first and only people we'll call. I would very highly recommend them!!!!

Great experience and a fast turn around on a huge project! Thank you guys we appreciate all your help, the floors are beautiful!

I called them for refinishing all my entire house, I was impressed with their work,! Amazing outcome and great price

Repaired prior job which was incorrectly installed. Showed up on time, reasonable price and excellent work. We wish we had used them in the first place but could not as they do not install heated floor.

JR Mendez Flooring did a beautiful job installing porcelain tile in my kitchen. They did the work with skill and efficiency. They were friendly and dependable. I am very pleased!

Did a great job with our kitchen floor and backsplash tiles. Very client focused and provided excellent guidance and suggestions. Very nice to work with - always on time and considerate of our home. Highly recommend.

JR Mendez just completed our kitchen backsplash and it looks wonderful! The process was so easy from start to finish. The communication was fantastic and they were very reasonably priced. We will be using them again soon for our kitchen floor and a shower tile project. Highly recommend!

Ramon and his crew did a beautiful job tiling our curved wrap around porch. The workmanship and attention to detail was phenomenal! He and his crew reliably showed up every day, worked very hard and always put in a full day's work. We are beyond pleased. They completely revitalized our ugly cracked concrete porch. Thank you so much! We love the new wood plank tile and decorative "rug" inlay.

Very professional and efficient, excellent communication regarding options for my basement and answered all my questions. My new carpet was installed in just a few hours without any issues and took care to move my items prior to installing. Highly recommend!

They worked very hard and did a great job.
I’m very happy with my bathroom tile floor.
If I need any tile work in the future, I would definitely hire them again.

JR Mendez Flooring helped me create my dream bathroom! Quality craftsmanship. Kind and professional. They go out of their way to make sure every detail is right and you feel good about your project. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend JR Mendez Flooring. From start to finish, they communicated clearly with me at every step and were always polite, professional, and transparent about pricing. There were no surprises and no pressure to spend more than necessary.

My floors were original hardwood but very outdated, with an old yellow tone that made the house look dated. There was also an area where the wood was damaged because a previous owner had installed laminate tile over it using an abrasive glue. Several other companies told me that section would need to be completely replaced.

JR Mendez Flooring actually took the time to assess the damage and explain my options. They were able to refinish that area instead of replacing all the wood, which showed me they were honest and not trying to upsell me. The quality of their work is top tier. The floors now look beautiful, updated, and consistent throughout the house.

If you’re looking for skilled, honest professionals to refinish hardwood floors, I would absolutely recommend JR Mendez Flooring.
