We are so excited to begin using our new space! The Finished Basement and especially our Project Manager Tanner were wonderful to work with. Everyone that came into our home was professional, knowledgeable, polite, cleaned up at the end of the day, and were very easy to work with. The overall project was completed in the expected timeframe and everyone was flexible with our schedules when needed. We've gained valuable space that we can't wait to now use. Thank you!

Finished Basement was top notch from beginning to end! The project manager Tommy was in constant contact with us with everything. We had an issue with the concrete floor not being level (from when our house was built) and they gave us more than one option of how to address it. Every person that worked on the project was great from the electrician to the plumber to the painter, everyone who had a hand in it went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Our painter Neil helped me pick out a stain color for the railing to match the stain that was on the existing stairs. Tommy came back at the end to address any questions or concerns we may have(which we didn’t). I can’t thank them enough for helping us finish the basement in our home that was a dream of ours for almost 20 years! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This company is worth every penny! Our project manager, Matt H, was great at communicating with us and being sure this project turned out just as we envisioned. Plus, every member of the team that came through was kind and respectful. Their carpentry team was especially nice and you could tell have a real passion for their job. So glad we made this choice!

The Finished Basement did an amazing job. We had them finish our ~1,000 square foot basement, including a full bedroom with egress, full bathroom, dry bar, and half wall with bar countertop. They also moved a utility sink and gas line and installed an extra electrical panel. We are so so happy with the space! Matt was our initial contact and Tom was the project manager. We had a design but they improved upon it, were very conscientious and careful with the work, super responsive, and professional. Would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend The Finished Basement enough!! They did a fantastic job on our basement and were a pleasure to work with. You could tell they really cared about us and what we wanted for our space. They got things done very quickly and at the highest quality. We were hoping to have our basement finished before our first baby was born and sure enough our baby ended up coming a month early. Matt, Adam and the team were so great with being flexible as we navigated having a newborn in the home. The communication was above and beyond! We received updates almost daily and knew exactly what was happening, who would be in our home, and what the next step was. The labor & materials were also of the highest quality. They even caught that our water heater was leaking and helped us avoid a big mess there! If you’re thinking about getting your basement finished, you MUST go with The Finished Basement. You will not regret it!

Matt and his crew did an amazing job. All of the contractors that they used were all top-notch!!! Each and every one of them did an amazing job. Tanner, our project manager, made sure that All the contractors were lined up and got us finished in no time. All of their workers were very professional and made it easy to have somebody you really don’t know in your house over a long period of time. When they left each day, you didn’t even know that they had been there as everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend using the finish basement!!!

We would definitely recommend The Finished Basement for a basement or kitchen project. We have used them for both projects and are extremely pleased with our experience. We’ve enjoyed our basement for about 4 years now and decided that we wanted to update our kitchen. We were pleased to learn that they had a division that also does kitchens, so we included them in our initial estimates. Very reasonable and we know from firsthand experience that they do beautiful work. The owner is very pleasant to work with and was very accommodating to our needs and ideas. Our project exceeded the kitchen and included all of the first floor. Our project manager, Adam, went above and beyond to make sure even the smallest details were complete. He was great to work with and was very helpful, honest and gracious with some of the challenges we had along the way. This is a great company to work with and they do beautiful work. You will not be disappointed!

We had this company come out to look at a basement remodel project. The visit went well, and I was looking forward to receiving a quote. Unfortunately, despite a few follow-up attempts, I never received an estimate or further communication.

I understand contractors may choose which projects to take on, and that’s certainly their prerogative. However, clear communication goes a long way. If you’re considering reaching out, just be aware that you may not receive a follow-up or formal bid.

“The Finished Basement” is the epitome of a truly professional company!!! The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail exceeds other companies!!!

One the first day, they installed protective covering on the carpeted stairway leading to our basement and each day they would place drop cloths on the LVP of the hallway and remove them when they left at the end of the day. The staff would sweep and clean up the work area at the end of each day!!!

The project manager would text me every night and provide me with the names and times of arrival of the staff for the next day. The staff were very engaging and friendly and displayed a dedication to the perfection and quality of their work. Over the span of the project it felt like we became friends with them!!!

The company was very particular about the quality of the lumber used for the studs in the wall and the ones that did not meet their expectation were returned to the supplier. The staff used lasers to ensure the level of the walls and ceiling were perfect.

We would highly recommend everyone to consider contracting with THE FINISHED BASEMENT company for their basement project!!!

I used Matt and team for finishing my basement. All the contractors were great, did excellent work and clean. They accommodated all our requests and I am very happy with the results. Project size was roughly 2000sq ft. Tom did an excellent job managing the project.

After meeting with multiple companies, we chose The Finished Basement to complete our space. We had an excellent experience. All staff were professional and provided high quality work. They were flexible in their timing with us while we dealt with unexpected water issues. We would recommend them.

Complete joke of a company. Unprofessional. Annoying. In the way. I'm just ready for them to leave our area completely.

I already called the company I will call again for hope they will listen for the safety of the residents . Now I believe the workers are just doing things out of spike. Working on road construction is a very hard and dangerous job All I ask is to be treated as a resident with respect and the safety of me and my grandkids .And not to be asked to crawl in a ditch with my grandkids to get to my house . I will hope these safety issues are address before someone gets hurt. Just looking out for your company and the public safety Hope your Company will take notice of my concerns . Thank you

We had a pipe that was leaking for a few months outside of the house. We had tried to fix it ourselves but it was much harder than we thought. This company came and got it fixed. They was very professional,kind and courteous. They was dedicated to getting the job done because they had to turn the water off to the house to fix the pipe they wanted to get the water back on asap and they did. They stayed well into the evening to make sure we had water before they left. Just want to say thank you for doing an awesome job! I will recommend this company to other's.

The best hardwood flooring installers in Cincinnati—they made my living room look brand new, and at very affordable prices. My wife and I will be calling them again soon.
