Home Services reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

Besides that this place is way overpriced, it’s no different than what’s shipped to Home Depot or Lowe’s! Nothing is grown in house, it’s weak and dies. They have no knowledge about plants!! When asking questions they will give you the wrong information and sell you incorrect plants, then blame their seasonal help. Made in China cheap overpriced decorations you can order on Amazon for half the price. Don’t waste your time! You want shipped in plants go to Home Depot, Lowe’s or Tractor Supply! You want real nice hardy home grown plants shop the small local Greenhouses! And as far as those so called coupons! What a joke! Was told my credits would be left on my Mothers account, who is a 84yr old senior, under her phone number, was a complete lie!!! So why even ask for a phone number or personal information? Don’t be fooled by the pretty appearance!!! They don’t even deserve a 1 star review!!!

Absolutely beautiful. Had everything we were looking for and more. Can be on the pricer end for the more popular house plants though. Would absolutely recommend and will be back.

I went here for the first time to look at their varieties of blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry plants. I am an edible-only gardener so I also wanted to check out their vegetables and supplies. For such a large garden center, they didn't have as many varieties of fruit plants as I thought they would, but at least they did have Bushel & Berry brand plants, which I've heard good things about and wanted to try. They also had a smaller selection of tools, fertilizers, and equipment than I expected. They do have some fun varieties of edibles (orange/purple cauliflower, for example), but their plants are VERY expensive. I bought just one blackberry plant--a Baby Cakes variety--and it was $28. The most I'd paid for one berry plant at Lowe's was $13.98, but Lowe's also sells berry varieties in packages that are 2 for $15.98, and these are among my best performing plants. The Baby Cakes I bought here looks healthy and gorgeous, but it was definitely a splurge at that price!
Everything else was much the same: pricey. They have some nice plants and equipment here, but expect to pay more than at other garden centers. White Oak Garden Center does have a rewards program, but I doubt I'll be coming back often enough to take advantage of it due to the price. -
Very nice sale lady the layout is very nice also some things are a little high in price but every plant you are looking for is here

Really nice nursery. Lots of varieties. Had a decent amount of harder to find houseplants which is my thing. Everyone was super nice asked if we need anything etc. This one blows the ones in Alaska where I live out of the park.

Lovely atmosphere! They had quite a lot of plants and pottery. Prices were a bit higher than I'd be willing to pay, but I'd def stop by to see their stock throughout the year.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very professional operation. Large place with many types of plants available.

I started coming to white oak early in the 80's the days of Anita and Fred Brown!! My memory comes and goes but I will always remember how I felt walking through the store. How kind and helpful everyone has been. The faces change but not their care and kindness. I can usually be seen dragging a 40 pound bag of bird seed to the register but someone is always quick to help me. I live with my son who has 2.5 acres and it is full of white oak even bought my little red Cmas tree at white oak and she still shines!! If you ever feel blue, need help, or just have a spot that needs a lil something this is the place to go!!! LOVE WHITE OAK!!

What a truly unique place! They have a wide assortment of popular plants.
For example monstera adansonii, pilea peperomioides and strings of pearls. As for pricing 1 inch pots range from $8-$12, hanging pots start at $24. This place is not a box store so the pricing is a little high. The staff was welcoming, helpful and full of information. I met a few of their frequent customers who were also very friendly plant enthusiasts. They have everything you need for gardening like mulch, seed, and gardening decor. Staff were fully masked, customers too. The only issue I seen was the sanitizer bottle was empty so I could not clean the cart. -
I had a great experience here today. I brought in 3 houseplants intending to get advice on how to repot them and learned that Mandy could do the job for me while I waited! She did a fantastic job. My plant children look great now. I appreciate that she separated my succulent into two pots, artistically arranged, and coaxed a rope plant out of a rusted container and into a plastic liner, giving it a much needed face-lift. While I waited, I had time to look through their extensive collection of beautiful house plants and ended up adopting the one in the lower right of the second photo that I have named Curly Sue. Highly recommend this business for your plant needs, indoor and out.

I have always had great service at White Oak Gardens. The staff are wonderful and the classes they offer are really fun. Great end of season sales and awesome selection of holiday decor. I love that they have farmers market trucks in the parking lot during the season because it gives me another reason to stop. They have a good selection of popular plants that do well in the area. Lots and lots of houseplants! Did I mention they also have a customer loyalty program?

White Oak has the best selection of shrubs and florals we’ve found on this side of town. The prices are a bit higher than nearby nurseries, but the service and quality are also a notch above.
Tip: sign up to get the rewards bucks! They are a great bonus! -
This place might be the perfect plant nursery.
Finally, a place that labels their plants, puts prices on their plants, only sells ones that appear to be healthy and has a helpful staff.
They had a large variety of house plants and succulents so it’s worth a visit if you’re on the hunt for either of those and that’s including varieties I haven’t seen anywhere else.
$6.99 for herbs in small pots (after you buy three) is a bit crazy but they had some varieties I hadn’t found elsewhere so I’d recommend going after hitting the cheaper places if you haven’t found what you’re looking for -
I love White Oak the staff is wonderful there "My living room is a micro-habitat, a lush and beautiful forestry of , plants, each one contributing to the vibrant, green tapestry. A beautiful grandeur.

Terrible. 3 wasted days dealing with these people.

Nobody ever picked up our job, so it didn' t help us.
-
Great app! Have used them for years and they save so much of my time.

Paid in full for a scheduled service that was postponed for weather. After the postponement, Plowz & Mowz never provided a new date or status, despite telling me on Dec. 6 they would follow up after checking with their provider. Two weeks later, their only follow-up was to say they still couldn’t update me unless the provider got back to them. That is unacceptable. If you take the contract and payment, you are responsible for communication and accountability. They repeatedly blame subcontractors instead of managing them, leaving customers in the dark with no ownership of the problem.
