Absolutely amazing move out clean from The Maids! We had Tonya, Liz, Christina, and Krissy clean our 670 sq. ft. apartment COMPLETELY DONE in 45 minutes! It was spotless and probably more clean than when we had moved in. I was quoted almost $400 from another local company, whereas this was $245. The women were all extremely nice and even went out of their way to make sure I was happy with their work prior to leaving.

Also, I want to give a special shoutout to Angela, who was wonderful at coordinating everything with my husband. She was very prompt in calling us to give a quote after he submitted the form, very hospitable, and she went above and beyond to accommodate our tight time window. We have recommended this company to all of our friends still living in the area and would use again just for a regular clean if we still lived there.

Update: the maids have responded to my concerns and have resolved the issues in a timely manner. I appreciate them reaching out and making it right.

Save your money…

We were really excited to use the maids for a deep cleaning as we are expecting a baby soon and wanted to ensure our place looked clean and fresh. When booking with the maids I mentioned the bathrooms and ovens are focus points, and I reiterated that on the day the maids arrived.

In my initial phone call, I was told they would do a walkthrough at the end to ensure everything looked good. They did not do that - they left very abruptly which was odd.

Upon inspection after they left, I discovered they didn’t even touch the grout in the main shower (I briefly took a Magic Eraser to it and the orange stain came off - note: I didn’t go over all the grout, I just quickly wiped it to make sure it can actually come off). The tiles on the floor are also still stained.

The cleaning supplies they brought for the oven wasn’t working and I had to give them my cleaning supplies that I had recently purchased. Tonight (one day after cleaning) we decided make something in the oven and it smelled chemically and like burning. It set off the smoke alarms. So clearly they had excess cleaning supplies that they did not remove. This is extremely dangerous for anyone let alone someone who is pregnant.

We decided to take a wet paper towel to the oven - the photo with the paper towel speaks for itself.

I mentioned when they arrived that there is a cabinet in the guest bathroom that I cleared out and asked if they can wipe the inside of it. They said yes, but once they left I discovered that was not done at all.

Also apparently, deep cleaning baseboards includes taking a rag and simply rushing to wipe off dust. They didn’t touch windowsills (I’ve never had a cleaning service NOT wipe down windowsills).

When I called the next day to provide payment and mentioned a couple of my complaints, they took $20 off the clean which definitely doesn’t make up for the service we paid $360 plus tax for. I wouldn’t have spent this money at all if I knew this was the quality of service provided. I genuinely feel scammed out of hundreds of dollars.

Now at 8 months pregnant I am going to have to spend time cleaning and bending over to clean certain areas, or spend even more money for another cleaning company to come in and get the job done.

Wonderful local, worker-owned company to use for your cleaning needs! Araceli and her team are top-notch people who truly care about their work.

Difficult to get the office to respond to calls & texts, the employees did a good job with my deep clean but were late (1+hour) to keep the appointment. When I attempted to schedule the next cleaning again it took multiple tries to get a response. The 2nd appointment mentioned was pushed back 2 hours from 2 o'clock to 4. I then offered to let them reschedule for the next day & 2:30 was scheduled. At 3:30 still no cleaners & no call or text from the office. I then texted to cancel. I do not recommend this service.

Ara and her team were fantastic! We hired them to deep clean our basement, and we are thrilled with their work. The basement had been neglected for many years, and had layers of dust, debris, and dirt caking every wall and surface. When Cincy Cleaning Co-op finished with it, it was a sparkling clean, usable space. We are so grateful to Ara and her team for helping make our home a healthier, happier space! We plan to hire them for all of our future cleaning needs, and highly recommend them.

These amazing ladies cleaned my house for a couple years. They are a team of a hardworking, strong females, who launched a social enterprise the goal to honor their labor and serve their clients. They do not use strong chemicals that hurt workers or people who live in the houses they clean. Their fees are competitive and I am very happy with their quality work. Thank you Cincy Cleaning Co-op. I am also very happy that I am not supporting poverty wages as the workers own the business.

Just a fantastic experience across the board. Ara is very communicative and flexible in scheduling. We opted for an initial deep clean and twice-monthly services and to say that the service is thorough would be an understatement.
