These guys are the best specialty paving and tennis court building company in the Midwest. They do all our courts at the Western & Southern Open every year.

Quality products for fair prices. You can buy bulk, sand, gravel and other landscaping needs by the pickup or bucket load. They also do asphalt. Very nice employees

Im not a customer of the company, they however did do my neighbors driveway and blocked me in, mind you with no warning or notice posted. No big deal I call them and Jenn who is a sweetheart sends out Bill to assist me in getting out without doing any damage, except when Bill shows up he's madder than a hornet and starts copping an immediate attitude. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

Harry Ewers & Sons did a great job patching a sealing our driveway. They were very accommodating with our timeline and they were friendly and professional.

Rick came very quickly to do an appraisal and called back promptly with the bid. However, after I asked him to send it in writing, he did not. I emailed through the website (as he asked to to leave my email) two times with no response either time. I called him, and he said he sent the bid. He did not. In business, if a person does not want to do a job, I would rather a person be honest and say that. It is quite frustrating!

I just had a beautiful stone patio installed by Rick and his team. Rick was very easy to work with. He even showed me another type of stone that he thought I might like better than the one I was originally going to choose. He was right! I did like it better! I highly recommend Rick!! He's a very nice guy too.

This is the second time I've used Rick Curtis for a flagstone walk. This time, I needed a patio walkout from a side entrance with a walkway to the drive. The original house was built with nothing more than gravel surfaces for the walkout and path.

Rick answers the phone, comes personally, and inspects the project. He comes up with a quote which reflects the true amount of work and effort to do the job right. On the last job, he was the only estimate that realized a water conduit would be necessary to siphon the water under the walkway during rain.

His workers raised the patio to be correct for the foundation and set the pavers in the walkway to meet the patio with a bluestone paver. They also raised the window well with pavers to match the patio height.

There was a small bump in the completion of the project when it was realized that one of the steps had paint stains. Without any prodding he was out the next day with his men and power cleaned the steps.

His price and estimate was at the high end of other estimates. But, the project was completed on time and the result was great. Finding a contractor who is true to his word, completes the job, is willing to change or alter the job based on how it progresses, and stands by his work is rare.

I give him five stars.

Rick performed some stone work in the front of our house for a mulch mound that kept shedding onto a very public and used sidewalk. The quality of the work was truly outstanding and we are so pleased with the outcome. Rick is truly talented and delivers on his word. I am planning to hire him for more work in the future.

Rick Curtis' personality and demeanor created a good "first impression." Contract offer was most competitive. Rick and crew unearthed existing concrete, rear patio and front walkway. They installed 500+ square feet of Unilock Product "Holland Premier Pavers" arranging in the complex, herringbone pattern. Rick was onsite daily providing supervision to crew and engaging with construction himself. Crew was proficient, hardworking and displayed respect for Rick's knowledge and expertise. The front entrance and rear patio look amazing, adding to home value and also, to our enjoyment. Expectation became a reality, as the outcome looks fantastic. Do consider Rick Curtis Hardscapes!

Rick did a great job repairing a 30 foot section of a stone retaining wall. It was leaning on towards the building and appeared ready to collapse. He and his crew rebuilt it, reusing the original stones. It looks great and should last many years.

Rick and his team tore down and replaced a retaining wall that was tilting into my driveway. They also repaired stone steps (capped with flagstone tops) and removed tree roots from under pavers that were causing my patio to be very uneven. Crew was professional, project finished on schedule, and the work product looks great. Pricing was very fair. Will definitely use this company again.
