Dishonest service rep, charged my neighbor $450.00 for furnace collector box and gasket. I called other company's for my senior neighbor who speaks Greek and has a hard time understanding. Other company's such as Service Air told us they would have charged $125.00 for the same part and service. My Greek neighbor wanted to pay by credit card but the tech refused stating he would take cash only. This was not discussed prior , as I was there. The reason they said cash only is so you can not dispute it with your credit card as and enormous overcharge. I do not recommend using these con artists.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling. We have insurance for repairs. The insurance company contacted United Heating & Cooling, the owner George, responded and arrived within 2 hours of being contacted. Once he arrived, one look at the air conditioning unit, he knew immediately what the problem was.

The freon was extremely low and the unit was iced over, he had us turn off the air conditioner & turn on the fan, he said that the ice would need to melt before the unit could be fixed. George arrived by 1:00 PM the next day, added the freon and the unit was working perfectly.
