Constraction reviews in Columbus, Ohio

We hired Lutton construction to redo our basement. Simply put, Kyle and his team are simply amazing. Throughout the project the communication was timely and open as we were kept informed by daily updates on progress. Furthermore, the quality of the craftsmanship shines through and I feel as though they treated our home as they would theirs. I also should note that the subcontractors that were leveraged for electrical, plumbing and drywall were all equally exceptional. We have absolutely no regrets from choosing Lutton!

Quite simply, Lutton is the best kitchen remodeling group I’ve ever hired.
Kyle and Ryann helped us every step of the way thru the product selection phase, and their expertise offered design ideas we never thought of.
The remodeling crew was fantastic! They’re really nice guys who showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of every day. Their attention to detail was amazing, and they kept in constant contact to make sure we were an active part of the decision making process. The end product was flawless.
Also, there were no financial surprises either. The agreed upon costs were honored, even though a few of the improvements took longer than expected. No hint at increased costs due to project overruns.
I truly can’t praise Lutton enough. They were so great to work with and we totally love our new kitchen!

Lutton updated two bathrooms in our home with onyx shower/bath systems. Everything came out beautifully and we are so pleased. We appreciated how everything was planned out. The guys were at our home when they said they would everyday, on-time, and everything was completed within the provided timeline. Crews were pleasant and professional and cleaned up the work site everyday. Highly recommend Kyle and his team.

I am quite pleased with the bathroom and kitchen remodeling. All workers, including the subcontractors, did a great job with attention to detail. A person in particular, Keith, deserves special mention. His can-do attitude and willingness to make adjustments as the project proceeded was what made the remodeling a success since we could not be sure if an idea would work out until the project started to take shape. The project manager, Ray, was also a pleasure to work with.

Lutton Construction did a wonderful job with my basement remodel, transforming it from the 80s to modern times. Kyle (the owner) listened carefully to my vision for the space and was very responsive throughout the duration. The project included building new framed interior walls, insulating, fixing a section of sill plate, replacing a damaged gas line, drywall, new LTV flooring, refinishing the ceiling, new wood trim and finishing work and fresh painting. His crew was polite, professional and very detail oriented. Absolutely thrilled with the finished result and my family is looking forward to enjoying for many years!

Lutton Construction was a dream to work with for our kitchen and bathrooms renovation. The project was incredibly well managed by Kyle. He was accessible and dependable through the whole project and kept everything moving along at a great pace! His team was also top notch, especially his carpenter Keith. Keith really showed his value add with suggestions on finishing touches, dependability and extensive knowledge for every facet of the project. I truly believe there isn’t ANYTHING that Keith can’t fix! He was amazing! I can’t imaging going through such an extensive renovation with any other team. My husband and I both highly recommend Lutton construction for any home renovation project and we look forward to working with them again!! Thanks Kyle and team for a great experience.

Kyle and team excel at matching your project vision with a professional solution at great value. The first project was a complete kitchen and living space reinvention (see picture 1). The second successful project was a covered patio space. Many years later, we still very much enjoy both spaces.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Lutton Construction did remodeling our kitchen. Travis exceeded all our expectations. His skills and attention to detail resulted in absolutely lovely new kitchen.

Lutton Construction renovated 3 bathrooms in my home, and they are beautiful! The crew was remarkable, showing up everyday on time-very reliable! They were friendly and helpful, and perfectionists! Kyle Lutton is very easy to work with, and has a very talented staff ,including his designer, Ryann. She helped in selecting cabinetry, lighting , and countertops and the result is stunning! I highly recommend Lutton Construction for your next kitchen or bathroom project!

Kyle & Ray did an excellent job on my kitchen. It was a 10+ year old kitchen in a downtown condo and the wall anchors and mounting were starting to fall off the walls. They came in and put in a new kitchen (and up to code now with an external vented kitchen hood) and the project went very well. They did an excellent job at procuring the designs for the kitchen, giving me a few selection for for materials, which was great. I was able to allow them to use my garage as a staging area but normally they would have a small shipping container to work out of at the work site. But overall, I'm happy with the results. It looks very modern and updated now.

Our experience was not great. We engaged Lutton Construction for refacing the kitchen cabinets. The quality of the work was ok. The communication could have been better. It took way longer than initially discussed.

Kyle completed our first floor remodel back in 2018, which included taking down, adding walls, changing the layout/footprint of our kitchen and dining room area, moving our laundry room to the 2nd floor, and creating an entry room/mudroom. I would look at our old kitchen and think it just looked like a corner of a room. It was so small and cramped. Kyle transformed the entire first floor of our home into something that felt out of a magazine. The wood floors that were refinished looked stunning. Our kitchen has truly become the heart of the home. The quality of the custom cabinets are hard to find anywhere else--and I did a lot of comparison shopping. Everything I explained that I was wanting in the remodel was executed beautifully. Kyle is responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. He hires people who are respectful and do great work. I have recommended Kyle to others looking for a good quality contractor.

From start to finish we had a great experience. Ryann was great with the design and making sure she knew what our style was and how to incorporate it in our design. The crew was awesome and always willing to answer questions and pointed out a couple issues that were out of their purview but needed addressed. The project manager was very responsive and listened if we had any issue or concerns. We will be using again for our next project.

We absolutely loved our experience with Lutton Construction. Right off the first meeting, they were just so warm. Jonathon came to do our consultation and where every other company glanced around and shot off some ballpark estimate, Jonathon took detailed pictures and measurements. Within a week, we had an actual 3D rendering of what their ideas were. Not only that, but their estimate was lower than any other company that came through. It was an easy yes from there.

Ryann was absolutely lovely to design everything with. My husband and I are not super decisive people and she was nothing but patient and encouraging. She helped us when we were stuck but otherwise let us lead the ship.

And when it came to the actual work, we loved having Mike and Colin here. They were just what you'd want from people working in your house every day; professional, kind, fun and clean! We have two young kids and I never had to worry about there being a dangerous mess that my kids would accidentally get in. There were even days where there maybe was not a lot to do, work-wise, but Mike still had Colin come over and do a deep clean.

Our kitchen is gorgeous and has made our home the new entertainment spot for friends and family. We loved our entire experience with Lutton and would recommend them to any friends or family!

Lutton Construction did a great job replacing bathtub with new show that included raising the ceiling and installing a new sink and cabinet. They also remodeled the kitchen with new cabinets, tile added a door and a window. Travis did exceptional work. The people at Lutton were easy to work with and attentive to our needs. We ran into a few bumps and Lutton Construction was quick to fix the issues to our satisfaction. Their intent is customer satisfaction. A very nice company and easy to work with.

Great job all around on our new concrete driveway.

The job was the best experience. The techs were very professional.

Very smooth quote process. The cres that did the work were very efficient. Good quality.

Highly Recommend! These guys came out and knocked the job out in one day they did a great Job and for a reasonable price!

Thanks again!

Tom Dury came out and explained how they prepare and pour their concrete driveways. I was impressed with his knowledge and suggestions. I am not proceeding at this time but will definitely put them at the top of my list when the time comes. Thank you!

I was very happy with the job Maxima did. Pricing was competitive. They showed up timely every day. Good communication throughout the project. And the quality of the driveway was great. I would use again.
