The grass for our small Clintonville yard has never really been great- thin, sparse, and overrun with clover. We contacted Norm for sod quotes and we ended up finding one of the best contractors we have ever met! He listened to our goals and vision and provide his expert guidance. He spent time to educate us and offered up solutions to clean up our landscape, without spending a small fortune. Norm and his AMAZING team cleaned up our beds, added topsoil to help the grading, added mulch, trimmed, and added river rock. And then they added beautiful sod! Norm and his team were responsive and extremely professional We have received so many compliments from friends, neighbors, and strangers. I can't believe the transformation he was able to do. We will be using him for more landscaping services and projects in the Spring!

Norm is a pleasure to work with. He cares about my needs as a customer and is very communicative. He not only did the work that he was hired for, he also keeps in touch and has taught me a lot about how to care for my lawn to get the results I want. I reached out to Norm because I wanted grass in the backyard but wasn't sure what would work best in a smaller space. Norm was great and walked me through all his ideas and it was better than I ever envisioned. Norm and his crew did an amazing job and completely transformed my backyard! When the project was done, Norm was so helpful going over everything and explaining how to best take care of the new sod. He followed up in the weeks after to make sure I had everything I needed and answered any additional questions! Would definitely recommend Norm and his crew! I will be using them again for future projects in the spring.

Our front lawn was in need of a serious refresh, and we were also hoping to add a small section of grass to the backyard. Norm knew exactly what to recommend based on our situation (tree cover + extensive root systems, sloping lawn, soil type, etc.), and I immediately felt we were in great hands. Along the way, Norm patiently responded to our questions and offered detailed advice on maintaining our lawn. He takes pride in the quality of his work and pays attention to every detail. As one example, the sprinkler we'd planned to use was the kind that would kick up new grass seed, so Norm took the time to run to the store, buy us a much better option, and then meticulously set it up to hit every inch of the yard. We feel so fortunate to have worked with Norm and can’t wait to enjoy our new lawn!

Pitzer's landscaping is by far a superior company. We have had Norm and his crew multiple times repair our backyard following construction. Not only do they do exceptional work, but you will not find anyone more responsible, dedicated and authentic. Norm truly cares about doing the best for his clients. I cannot overstate my appreciation for Norm Pitzer. He has true integrity and stands behind his work. Norm took on a large job to grind down a true stump (after a poor job done by a “professional “ tree company), raise a flower bed, regrade our front and back yards (bringing in a semi of soil), seeding, overseeding, purchase & set up 11 sprinkler stations., and replace a few bushes.

When Mother Nature caused a truly bizarre weed infestation, Norm stayed in close communication, even coming over on a Sunday morning to solidify a game plan before the start of the work week. We were not charged for all the additional materials and man hours to reseed.

You can trust Norm to see your project through until you are satisfied with the result. They definitely don’t make ‘em like Norm anymore.

Proscape has done a great job with our neighborhood. They do everything from mowing, landscape, lawn chemical application to snow removal in the winter. Christina at Proscape does a fantastic job with managing this and great communication as well. I highly recommend them!

HORRIBLE! Anyone in the business of landscaping should know you don't hack down rose bushes and ornamental grasses in the fall! Are you going to replace them if they don't grow back in the Spring!? I live in a condo community that Proscape worked on yesterday and much to my shock, they chopped rose bushes in more than half in size and massacred two beautiful ornamental grasses! What is wrong with you people? And then left an overgrown shrub HALFWAY trimmed! How are you going to make this right?
