Our story will echo most of the other reviews here. Excellent people and service. We originally contacted a very "advertised" HVAC company when our furnace stopped blowing warm air. Their tech looked at the furnace for 15 minutes and told us it would cost nearly $5000 to repair - so we might as well buy a new one. Carpenter's techs Derek and Greg worked on it for 2 hours and it runs perfectly now. There was no need to buy a new one. If you want honest, hard-working people to help - then look no further than Carpenter.

Please get a second opinion. I saved $4100!!!

I’m a resident of Delaware, Ohio and used this company for a possible clog.
First trip out, I reported a clog because a toilet back up. The kid did not even investigate my lateral for a clog. He told me I had a leak and proceeded to “fix” it (I had to wait for him to go shopping because he wasn’t prepared) and charged me $350 for the service. After he was done he told me there was another issue and the problem was not fixed.
Second trip, this time a different kid came with a snake for the clog and a camera to inspect the pipe. After about 30 min of running he snake he decided I had a collapsed pipe and it needed to be replaced, charged another $350. He had to come back out because he didn’t have all the tools for the job(not prepared). Got a quote for $4100 to fix the collapsed pipe(PVC).
Luckily I got a second opinion, I got the city involved because there was a question on property line. They came out and were prepared for the job! The blew past the “collapsed pipe” and all the way out to the sewer in the street. They found no collapsed pipe and the “clog” was standing water…

I called to see how their bosses felt about this false diagnosis, of course they doubled down and would not admit they were wrong. They were perfectly fine with charging me for a repair that was not needed.
I wouldn’t call this company to replace a water line under the sink. Please if you have used them or plan on it, call another company just in case. Saved me $4100!!!!

I used to love this company! They have started to care less about their customer which is unfortunate. Quick story, had them repair an AC unit in my attic and they did not connect the pump correctly which resulted in flooding in my ceiling and walls. They attempted to remedy but the repairs were not quality and I asked if they could reimburse me for my out of pocket repair costs or if they could put this issue through their insurance and they said no. I added a star for responsiveness as they usually are very quick to service but if you are looking for quality of work and quality of customer service...maybe look elsewhere.

Great people and service. I received multiple quotes and options to address my current and future needs. The installation crew was extremely professional. When it is time to replace my 2nd unit I will be calling Carpenter!

Going with Carpenter for our new heat pump saved us a lot of money. The technicians were professional and prompt. To be honest, there were a few hiccups after installation but the company was very responsive making things right. Think about it, Bobby isn't going to put his name on it and accept a company culture of wronging people. Last thing, the manager of a company offering another quote was *shocked* how low Carpenter's quote was.
